The canary terrified as heck from the burst of sound rose in a flurry of yellow, flying back to its master. Candidpaw heard the kit yelp and turned to spot her beneath the crowd with ease. "Damn bird, what'd you do this time," she sighed. "Hey," the apprentice called softly as she made her way over, "sorry about that; he's a little friendly. Are you okay?" It was an almost motherly voice, one she used when talking to small animals in the forest and was quite effective with kittens as well.

Candidpaw nodded a bit and glanced back down at the yellow thing. "I see. I guess I should just wait and see what happens," she sighed. The canary wandered back to its owner and hopped up to the top of her head, chirping at everybody, a series of high-pitched bursts. "When he can sing again maybe he can put on a little show as thank you for the help," the apprentice smiled. The bird wasn't very happy at the sound of this and proceeded to chirp in refusal.

Candidpaw peered in on the scene with curious hazel eyes, trained primarily on the rabbits though. Her canary chirped brightly to alert them of their presence as they padded towards them. She was curious about those rabbits, but decided it best to let the mandatory process roll through first.

I have Candidpaw in Shadowclan who could befriend Wallflower? She has a rather friendly pet canary and maybe that's how they meet. o u o

"Oh, canary where are you going now," a soft mumbling in the cool morning air sounded out, a smear in the silence. It was too early for any young felines to be up and about, and while there were a few warriors wandering, Candidpaw would like to think of herself as young and still sleeping. Her little bird friend was much to interested in what was going on outside the warm comforts of a den. A flurry of yellow and she had lost the canary already, lest to stumble blindly in the dim light.

Sure. Here it is. ^^

"What exactly do you sell?" Candidpaw asked. The female had no use for trinkets and such, but her little animal den could use a spark of color.
-
The apprentice leaned down and examined the wares, taking in the variety of colors and tones. That little skunk might want something to cuddle into at night, she thought. Her black and white caniformia pet would get lonely if it wasn't for her ability to stay up the entire night. It would do the baby some good to find comfort in something else. "I'm sure Shadowclan would let you stay if you provided such neat things," Candidpaw noted, glancing back up at the female.
-
"And when you can control it you can come sleep in the dens at our camp," the apprentice said with a nod. Her mind slowly thought of her snake friend; did snakes eat skunks, or did skunks eat snakes? She lashed her tail in frustration with the responsibility she put on herself because not only did she have a bird to keep away from a snake, she now had a lost baby skunk. "Oh, by the way, what's your name? I'm Candidpaw," she finally introduced.

[ snuggle- oh dear god the cuteness ; u ; ]
Candidpaw squealed at the cute name and little butt wiggle, holding her breath as another waft of skunk rolled over her. "Okay then, Snuggle, we're going to find you a home," she declared. The canary floated up to rest on Snuggle's petite head and nestled down into the fuzzy fur with a chirp. He had someone small enough to play with that wouldn't eat him or knock him over anymore! The apprentice turned, starting to walk without announcing it as she was deep in thought. What do skunks eat? What eats a skunk? Where do they live? The apprentice's mind buzzed with ideas and loose memories of adventuring around the territory, trying to find a suitable area where all three of them could live for the time being.
-
The canary, now on its own, flitted about camp chirping short bursts of high-pitched sound; it had lost its ability to sing now it had started molting. Beady black eyes peered down upon the camp until it rested on a grey and white fellow before flying down to stand in front of the feline. It tilted its small head, gazing at the one he found so curious, letting out a string of sweet chirrups. Candidpaw on the other hand had still yet to gain her bearings after a somewhat restful night.

Candidpaw thought about what Snuggle - and odd name for any stink-spraying animal - would like, something that would remind him of her. There was such a multitude of colors it seemed the lack of color was lacking, something plain and white with a single contrasting splash; like her. The apprentice was a dull shade of white with deep hazel eyes, so something plain as her would do well. "Do you have a scarf in white maybe?" She asked, glancing back up at the merchant.

The canary, feeling adventurous again, hopped down from Candid's head and tottered up to the kit. It chirruped and tilted its tiny yellow head, eyeing her with beady eyes. "Lost? How do you get lost in your own camp?" The apprentice laughed softly. Candidpaw had only meant it as playful though.
