hm, sevvy's been looking for a mentor, so i think a mentor/apprentice relationship would be best. he's a bit. . . tough, as he's been trained by a third-tier for a short while. maybe his turtle can visit during her training and cause a commotion with her bat. [/justify]

Candidpaw sighed heavily, kicking the wet pine needles in frustration. Her canary just loved flying off when it could just be snatched out of the air by some snake; not to predict or anything. She was out in the woods looking for anything useful of building a nest for that bird, because it simply refused of making one of its own since it got used to sleeping on her head. He was cute, she would admit, but wasn't committed to staying in one spot. It would be awhile before she got back to camp where it probably flew off. So she started walking back, mumbling curses along the way.

Up between the blue of the sky and brown of the earth the canary flew happily, yellow wings flapping at a fast rate. Beady eyes spotted the familiar camp below. It angled its body and dived down towards an empty spot on the ground, a yellow raindrop from afar.[/justify]

It wasn't a very smart bird considering he was a bird after all, but even birds can learn; so it took Candidpaw's warnings to heart. Its head tilted and chirped, black eyes seemingly staring into nothing.

[justify]so i'm applying for an adoption, and one of the plots i listed was for him to run an underground market/trade/blackmarket. it was most likely going to be him giving out catnip (or something else) in exchange for high-quality prey (because he's too lazy to catch his own damn food), company for the night (if you know what i mean), or anything valuable to him. it may or may not be a one man show, but if he does have someone else to help along, it will end up being a lover of some sort. i don't know if this type of thing has been done before though. o n o

so, i was wondering if you would include your character in something like this or involve them in some way. and if i were to do it, what would be the best way for me to execute it? o u o[/justify]

[justify]In one sudden movement the bird kicked up a cloud of dust with its talons, chirruping innocently when a dirt cloud had formed between the snake and bird. Candidpaw squinted as she came into the camp to find a rather terrifying sight. White paws thudding against the earth she picked up her bird in her mouth and threw him into the air, where he flapped a bit before landing delicately on her head. Once the canary was out of the way hazel orbs peered through the dust, searching for the snake she had spotted from afar. "Hello...?" [/justify]
