[justify]quite obviously i'm new and still researching on the trends and the do's and don't's, so i was wondering what clan you would think would be best for someone new to the site. ^^
i mean in terms of like family trees (complicated ones that may take time to learn etc.), activeness of the board, and drama (previous rps i've done always have a board that has a lot more going on than the rest).

i just want to put my first character in a place where i can easily adapt to the surroundings and mechanics before jumping into one where it obviously has enough going on. appreciate your opinion! ouo[/justify]

LOOKS. compare swan feathers and a sheet of crisp paper and you'll find yourself at a loss for which is whiter. not to be racist. but compare candid's pelt to both and you'll find yourself opting for the bird and tree. soft fur of not-quite white make up the basis of candidconfession, growing to about the length of a human twelve-year-old's pinky; short. the color is white, yet somewhere between each strand of hair it's a dusty grey color leading you to think she is of a storm cloud. but indecisiveness tells you she is white. even she can't decide; though all she can see is paws, chest, and tail tip. moving on to less confusing terms her bones provide a thin, tall frame. long legs, elegant long neck, and a triangle shaped head with rounded points instead, she is only above average. but her eyes somewhat make up for that. round orbs are filled to the brim with an uncertain color, ranging between a beautiful bronze and a hazy yellow-green. it's gentle though, a break from her active persona, as if to wash away your confused thoughts on what color they are. but just as you were beginning to realize they resemble that of a hazelnut you would be pointed to rounded ears and a short tail. staring isn't nice, remember? [justify]Like a magnet to iron Candidpaw's ears caught on to something more interesting than the rustling of leaves underneath her paws, and turned slightly to find it. Something exciting. That's what she was looking for, and if a kit talking to a dog was more life-changing, no one could deny her.

With a few steps of hurried anticipation she stopped a few feet short of the two, a wide smile upon her face to show she just wanted to make friends.

"Hello!" She greeted in her politely bright way, and flashed another, yet less eye-blinding, smile.[/justify]

[justify]With the kit's short reply she visibly winced, thinking of it to be something else. Candidpaw frowned slightly and proceeded to ask, "Sorry, was I too cheerful again? A few people find it disturbing. . . "

Though other's thoughts on her mood never affected her, she felt going for a mild approach on strangers was best, but testing her "mild" approach now there seems to be no difference; it's all happy happy happy.[/justify]

[justify]The apprentice stood, waiting for a reply like the patient one she was, before turning her senses to temporary subjects. Like the one that disturbed her. Gentle eyes sweeping what she could see without turning her head, then quickly making a casual glance behind her, yet she couldn't shake that feeling of being stalked. Candidpaw bit her lip and turned back to the kits with a tensed body.[/justify]

She laughed heartily, "I guess you're right; our clan needs a little umph, whether it's a lot or not. The apprentice sighed before remembering to introduce herself. "Oh, sorry, I'm Candidpaw! Like any other moment of her life, the constant search for something interesting brought her to the chilled winds of outside, where a clear sky of twinkling pencil stabs could be seen. Midnight, dusk, in the dead heat of the afternoon; for Candidpaw, excitement never stops right at bedtime.

White paws trotting along cool ground sent her in the direction of a large blob of dark, but upon closer inspection found it to be a blob of cats (and lizard) around a particular. With hopes of something like a secret meeting she quietly bounded over towards the group. "Hello! What's with th- Hey, are you alright? What did you guys do to her?"

Yes, she was one who never cared much for the results of insulting people or giving them a piece of her mind, but that didnt mean she couldn't see the expressions they wore; with Nightingpaw it was no exception, except she wasn't the cause of her apparent uneasiness. Candidpaw stepped over to the younger femme and peered down at her with gentle hazel eyes, as if to ask a reason for her discomfort. Was it all these others cause? [/justify]

Finding it paw-aching to stand she planted her white rump upon the dusty ground and sighed, deciding to continue the conversation. "So, any plans for today? Perhaps of the adventure genre?" [justify]"Yeah!" she exclaimed, happy to have caught the younger's interest. "You know, like going out of camp and looking for caves, or swimming in a pond after climbing trees. That kind of stuff!"

Candidpaw lived not for thrill, no, she lives for the exciting anticipation of everything, because to her IRS not the adventure itself that captures one's interest. It's the moments before it that she wishes to experience with others. [/justify]
