--Jayden--
A pale white figure jogged through an area of trees, smiling a small, sad smile as his wings outspread. He flapped his white wings and lifted off the ground, just to go back to the ground again.Of course, though,he did this on purpose. His wings were tired and needed a rest.So he let them as he climbed up into a tree, and sat on a large branch. His legs dangled from either side, and rested his head against the trunk.

    --Kara--
The girl with the flower crown in her hair strolled along,a happy, small smile gracing her lips.

I stopped myself from breaking when I heard a sob come from his lips.I bit my lip and kept taking baby steps toward him.But when he looked back, probably hearing me,he glared at me after wiping his tears away. His glare made me flinch a little, and it made my heart hurt to see him like this.I know,I know.I'm the one who broke him and he has the fucking right to glare at me.He does...He has the right to punch me in my butt-ugly face, too.

I had stopped in my tracks without knowing it when he turned his face to look down at the water.I could tell he was still glaring as I took a couple more steps closer.I was too afraid to sit next to him,yet I still had the guts to talk to him."Jeez,Noah.I'm sorry,"I said,a little bit of anger and a little bit of annoyance spilling out.I didn't mean for it to come out like that...It's just,I'd gotten used to talking to other people besides my "friends" like that. What am I talking about?Noah was the only real friend I had ever had,and now he probably thinks I fucking hate his guts.

I gathered up all of my courage and sat about a foot or so away from him.I didn't want to sit too close. He just might actually punch me in the face. Not that'd I'd give a fuck,but...I looked sadly down at the water, bringing my knees up to my chest and resting my head on them.I wanted to hide my face and curl up in a corner and cry like a baby.Like what I did on my fifth birthday.Jeez,I'm really nauseous. My head is spinning in circles and my heart effing hurts. But I put that all aside so I wouldn't let tears fall from my eyes, and looked over at Noah."I'm sorry..."

    --Jayden--
Jayden almost jumped at the sound of someone's voice, and looked down to see a girl. She had wings that resembled his,but instead they were black. He figured she was a demon, but just smiled at her."Hello,"he greeted back, his voice soft and quiet. He jumped down from the tree and stood a foot away from the girl."I'm Jayden,"he said in the same tone, with a nod of his head.

    --Jayden--

Jayden kept that soft smile plastered on his face as he watched her with a slightly tilted head.He let his wings u=ruffle out, then close back in and rest on his back."Pleasure to me you, too,Jade. You have a pretty name,I might add,"he said in that soft, angelic tone of voice he always used.He silently chuckled to himself, looking around for a brief moment, then back at the girl-Jade-in front of him.

    Jayden M. Adams.

The twenty-three year old had his eyes closed, but he was still awake and alert. His head was resting on his fist, his elbow propped up on the chair arm.His other hand was in a fist in his lap as he let a small yawn escape his soft lips.He was the one who was supposed to watch out for anything, and especially those zombies that were out there. The tall, six foot and one inch, young man opened his eyes as something struck the chair he sat in.He looked up to see the short, skinny young man in front of him, listening to him speak.

Jayden just smiled a tired half-a-smile up at his best friend. He simply nodded his head and looked around at everyone, then back to his friend. His smile faded, just because he was too tired to even smile, and shook his head at the boy's question."No.Not yet,at least,"he replied, taking one last look around the abandoned warehouse they called home."And I really hope nothing will happen. We all deserve a good night's rest,"he added with a heavy sigh, running a hand through his hair as he looked down at his feet.

The older young man got up from his seat in the chair, now standing in front of his best friend."What woke you up this time?Just couldn't stay sleeping?"he asked, more of statements than questions, taking the switchblade that was on the arm of the chair and tucking it into his jean's pocket. He looked back up at his friend with a small smile, then stuffed his hands in the pockets of his jacket."Jeez,it's cold..."

    Lol,sorry if this sucked.

The pale angel nodded a thank you to the she-demon.He wasn't at all uncomfortable with her being a demon. But,he wondered, does she feel uncomfortable around him?Not that she should,or anything, because he wouldn't hurt a single fly.His head stayed tilted just slightly to the side, his eyes sparkling."You know,it doesn't bother me...You being a demon and all."

    Lucas N. Taylor.
Lucas scampered down the sidewalk with a pack of stolen cigarettes and a lighter in his hands, including some mini muffins that were packaged in a tiny bag.He held a water bottle in the his arms,as well, maneuvering his way through the crowds of many people. His eyes sparkled with fright as he tried to avoid any contact with anyone, especially the police that were up ahead. He gulped, fiddling with the ends of his over-sized sweatshirt. As he came to an alleyway, all of the things in his arms dropped to the ground, almost falling himself. But he caught his balance and crouched down, picking everything back up hurriedly, his hands trembling. The just-turned nineteen year old was terrified of the streets, and living on his own.But he didn't have a choice.

Rubbing the back of his neck, letting a small yawn escape his lips,he chuckled. He just nodded at the younger one, stuffing his hands back into his pockets. He had one eyebrow raised as he listened to his friend, nodding his head."Yeah,I hate Winter..."he mumbled in response, biting his bottom lip lightly. The younger boy looked so...Young.He looked like he was a flipping high school student, even though he was almost a real adult.Jayden almost looked older than his true age,but thankfully he looked...Presentable.According to himself, anyway.

Jayden smiled a small, yet genuine smile at Johnny. He looked around, making sure everyone was asleep while they talked. He didn't want to wake anyone, especially Jack.Everyone deserved to just sleep in at least one time for their hard work and...Dedication.His head turned back to his best friend that stood by him,and nodded his head in response to his question. He rubbed the back of his neck after taking a hand out of a pocket, looking at the ground for a brief moment.Gosh,h was so tired, but he couldn't fin it in him to sleep.

The young man let a chuckle escape his lips, looking back up at Johnny."Thanks,Johnny.Thank you very much,"he said sarcastically in response to the boy's comment. He had one eyebrow raised like he usually did when he was being sarcastic,a silent sigh coming from between his lips.He shook his head, letting another chuckle past his lips as he stared at the floor of the warehouse.

    ooc;;
Aw,thanks! And what would that role play be?[Lol,just wondering! ^^]

    --Jayden--
His bright eyes glimmered as he listened to her, smiling a bit bigger at her first statement. His smile faded, though,at her second."Oh...I-I'm sorry about that,um,Jade,"he said, his voice softer and quieter than usual. He only became an angel because he had saved his brother, and because of all the people he helped. If he had let his brother die along with him,and let all of those people starve and rot,he was sure he would have been a demon.

The bright-eyed boy looked up when hearing a voice, and nodded to the boy that was maybe abut the same age as him.He gulped down the lump in his throat, carefully carrying the stolen items in his arms.He followed the boy to a large pipe and hid inside, setting his things down in front of him.He lied down on his side and curled up,biting down on his lip."Th-thank you..."he managed out in a shaky voice, smiling a just-as-shaky smile up at the boy who had helped him.

The pale boy moved his head so he could see the guy who had practically saved him.He stayed where he was, though, curled into a tight ball."L-Lucas,"he stammered in reply, smiling softly at the boy.His smile was a sad one,but his eyes glittered with relief. He bit his lip lightly, hugging his knees close to his body for warmth. He got cold just a bit too easily.

The tall young man looked at Johnny, his smile a bit bigger."Yeah,I'll go,"he replied to his question, then continued to listen to the boy's soft voice. He moved a bit away from his directing chair, watching his best friend jump onto the seat.He let a small chuckle escape his lips, shaking his head at his statement."Ha ha,Johnny.I don't think so,"he responded, raising an eyebrow at him.He sighed silently, looking around once again for a brief moment, then back at his friend who was sitting in his chair.

"Hey,do you wanna go walk around?I am flipping bored, and my mind won't let me sleep,"he asked softly, raising both of his eyebrows in question. He hoped the boy would say yes, just so they could get some fresh air.He loved the outdoors, especially at night.Well, before the apocalypse started. He still loved to walk around when it was peaceful, though, and no one was bothering him. With the exception of his best friend,of course.

Jayden ran a hand through his messy,dirty-blonde hair as he waited for his friend's reply. He looked anywhere but Johnny's small frame.

    ooc;;
Aw,really? That's exactly how I wanted it to be!Thank you! :-*
"Nothing wrong...I'm just r-really cold,"he almost whispered in reply. He gulped silently, knowing that what the boy had said wasn't true.Anything and anyone could hurt him while he was out living on his own,on the streets.Even this boy could hurt him,and Lucas would never know it was coming. But,he didn't believe this boy could hurt him.He had saved him,for crying out loud! And there was no reason to hurt him, anyway.

Lucas gave a soft, sweet smile to the boy when he handed him a hoodie and a blanket. He hesitantly took them, then put the big hoodie over his small frame, and wrapped himself in the blanket. His head snapped up when haring someone's footsteps come into the alley, and scooted further into the large pipe, curling up into an impossibly even tighter ball.
Lucas's face was flooded with an expression of fright as he shut his eyes tightly, hoping it wasn't some big, buff guy or a strong girl who could take guys out.He was anxious as to know who it was, though, even though he was frightened by whoever it was.

The nineteen-year-old boy smiled a bit at hearing the girl's nice voice. He figured that she must have a nice person since her voice was so soft and melodic. He looked up at the boy he had no clue was,and almost frowned when hearing loud voices and laughter.Jeez, why don't they just have a party in the alleyway,he thought. He let a small sigh escape his lips, and wiggled out of the large pipe. The blanket was still wrapped around him as he got to his feet, looking around. He saw a girl, who he figured was the one with the soft voice. She looked like a rich girl. Then he spotted another boy,and he tilted his head to the side a bit.
The creamy skinned man just smiled at his friend. He chuckled a bit as he pretended to shoot what he figured were zombies. He shook his head at the younger man, then looked back up at him as he heard his response. He smiled a big and bright smile and rubbed his hands together, then blew warm air to his palms."Well, let's go,then!"he said happily, then started walking to the door that lead to the outdoors.

He had always been one to prance around at night, especially when it was raining and/or storming out.He didn't mind the cold water droplets falling onto his skin,or the smell of ozone in the air,or the sound of the thunder rolling by.He loved it.It made him feel energized and free to be outside,in a wonderful storm. And the night just made it all the better. He'd usually, when in high school,go to the park when it was raining in his free period. He'd just sit under a large willow tree and let the few droplets that passed by the leaves and branches fall onto his skin.

Jayden never really like Summer. He hated the heat, and hated how he could never seem to get a tan when everybody else was practically orange from being in the sun.So he usually just stayed indoors during the Summer. But you'd see him running around like a maniac when it came to be Spring,Autumn, and Winter.Especially in Winter. He'd roll around in the snow, throw snowballs at his parents in the making of a snowball fight, and make snow angels with his parents. Now,he obviously couldn't do any of that with his parents, anymore. They were dead, after all.He tried not to think of it much, but it haunted his memory. At least he had Johnny, though.
Lucas frowned over at the girl as she screamed, making him jump a little. He dropped the blanket to the ground as he looked over to the other boy.He felt so short compared to all three of the people.Actually,he was pretty short, for his age, anyway. He took a small baby step closer to the taller boy who he had gotten to trust in just a short moment, the frown on his face going into an expression of fear once more.
