    [font=arial][sub]Hmph. Well, he hadn't expected the tables to turn. "Yes, I have been." Kapranos meowed, slipping in a white lie to make himself look a little better. Actually, he spent most of his days watching them leave without him. "And I will continue to." With a respectful dip of his head, he nodded his thanks and returned to where he was sitting before.

    [font=arial][sub]Kapranos tackled a npc with his claws extended, aiming to dig into the rogue's flesh and draw blood. Without a second thought he aimed to slash at the unnamed rogue's throat but took a few scratches to the muzzle with all the blind clawing they were doing, and there was a good chance that he didn't do much damage. He'd leave Sunfur and the others to take care of the group leader, and hopefully the rogues would be scared away upon seeing the old leader dead.

    [font=arial][sub]After a few moments of following in silence, Kapranos picked up the scent of a rodent. Once he spotted it, he dropped into a crouch and pounced. Thoroughly pleased with the result, he rose again with a red squirrel hanging limply from his jaws.

    [font=arial][sub]Kapranos padded up to the scene, claws leaving shallow tracks in the ground. His ears flattened against his head.
    "You think you're just going to walk away?" he snarled, raising a brow. His amber eyes gleamed with built-up rage.

    [font=arial][sub]Kapranos joined the group, eyeing up the loner with slightly subdued curiosity.
    "He looks injured," The tom murmured to Sunfur, amber eyes resting on the stranger's open wounds and slight limping as he hobbled away from the scene. "Maybe it'd be best to give him some shelter until he's healthy enough to travel alone." Sure, he may be a rogue, but it's wrong to let a cat suffer when they've done nothing to hurt us.

    [font=arial][sub]Kapranos who didn't actually care about the border patrols, but felt like complaining when he said it narrowed his eyes and continued to stare as the stranger reacted. It was kind of obvious that he had business here, considering how persistent he was. He smirked in approval when Bronzegaze voiced her agreement in temporarily aiding the loner, though. The orange tabby flicked an ear and waited for the other Guard's response.

    [font=arial][sub]Hm. Being around all these optimistic cats was starting to lighten his mood a little, but he wasn't one to budge. What a downer. Well, maybe he'd share a story - thankfully, one he didn't just make up on the spot.
    "I once saw a double rainbow." He gave a smug grin. "I mean, only for a second, but it was raining when I looked over a field and saw it for just a moment. And then, the first rainbow vanished when I looked again - like magic."

    [font=arial][sub]Seeing Quinn race off caused Kapranos to whip around to see what she was chasing. In the distance, he could see a pair of cats dashing back towards camp.
    Enraged past his boiling point, the amber tom dropped the npc and kicked at it with his hind legs as he took off after the two. He pelted through the underbrush, ears flat against his head and teeth gritted as he followed after Quinn.
    Kapranos caught up just in time to see her pouncing at the rogues, and in turn aimed to do the same.

    [font=arial][sub]Who was this? The little cat seemed very unfamiliar. His jaw parted as he took in her scent, and narrowed his eyes slightly when he scented other clans on her pelt. The orange-furred warrior slunk up to Fawn with curiosity, an invisible brow raised.
    Kapranos, he called himself. A strong Thunderclan warrior, who usually found himself confronting the random strangers who trespassed on his home territory. He looked rather disarming, circling the smaller cat while flicking his tail, as if deep in though as to whether or not he'd chase her out. Not at all hostile, but... A bit intimidating.
    "...Kapranos." The warrior meowed calmly in response to her nervous questioning. He stopped in front of Fawn, taking in the scratch across her muzzle. "And who are you? I'd also like to know your business here."

    [font=arial][sub]ooc;; hhhhh oh my gosh
    i envy you :u

    ic;; Poor thing. The warrior's harsh stare softened as he watched her lose the confidence she held only moments before. He sheathed his claws and pricked his ears again; and his amber optics focused on her emerald eyes.
    "Hm, what a shame." Kapranos meowed nonchalantly. She didn't seem hostile, so he sat down with his tail wrapped around his paws. "Are you trying to tell me that you want to stay here?" We're not a motel, hon. Although he would've liked to add the remark, he kept quiet and waited for her response.
