Avril stared at the two of them, feeling that she didnt have a place to say anything. She couldnt image what it must be like for them. She wondered what it would be like if she were to leave the bad side. No, she wouldnt leave. Her gaze shifted back to Isaac. Looking at him made the thought of leaving a little more like a possibility. She looked away quickly.
-
Avril felt a pang of disappointment when she realized it was time to part with Isaac. She started tugging at the hem of her shirt, something she did whenever she felt any sort of negative emotion. She walked over and stood beside Aleski. She put on an unfriendly scowl, and glared at them.
"You better get back to your side then," she said, even thought she didn't want them to leave on the inside. -
Avril glanced one last time at Isaac's retreating figure, before turning around and walking alongside with Aleski. The entire way back, she couldnt get a certain red haired boy out of her head.
Mason walked along the beach, searching the water. His eyes caught a dark shape swimming under the surface. He held up his hand, and with a jerk of his wrist, the water floated up. In the water, a large fish swam around, confused. He smiled and moved the water over the land. He let it drop, and the water and fish hit the ground with a thud. The fish flopped around as it looked for water. He picked it up by the mouth, the fish fighting him all the while. He walked over to the camp and sat the fish by a campfire. The fish would feed several of the good siders.
-
"Yes, very interesting," Avril agreed.
-
Mason sat the fish on a flat rock and pulled a pocket knife out from his jeans.
Sorry little guy, he thought as he sliced the head off of the fish. There was a thin spray of blood and Mason cringed. He started to cut off the skin along with the meat, careful not to accidentally cut any bones. He looked up to see that Isaac had come back with Dex. He breathed a sigh of relief to see the black haired boy. He finished cutting the fish and started a fire with two sticks. He stuck the slabs of fish on a stick and held them over the fire. -
Mason smiled as he watched Kammy. He always had a soft spot for kids. He lifted the stick away from the fire when he decided the fish was cooked enough. He walked over to Haley and the others.
"I have some extras," he said quietly. -
Mason cleared his throat, the others not noticing him standing there.
"I have extras," he repeated, a little louder this time. -
Mason nodded and pulled off a piece of fish, handing it to Kammy.
-
"Your welcome," Mason said. There was still some fish left, so he thought he might as well see of anyone else wanted some. He walked over to Dex and Isaac's house and knocked on the door.
"Either of you hungry?" he asked from the outside.ooc: i'll admit that i have no clue wtf im doing o.e

"Nothing important," he said, smiling at her. "Its been an, eventful day hasnt it?" he said, trying to make small talk.
Avril walked to the barely burning campfire. She crouched down and held her palm towards the charred sticks and watched as they burst into flames.
"That 'aught to be good," she said, standing and wiping her hands on her jeans. Isaac's face popped into her mind and she felt her face heat up at the thought of him. She looked away, trying to shake him from her mind. -
Leo looked over at the approaching people and dogs.
"Are you guys okay?" he called out to them. He gritted his teeth as a fresh jolt of pain tore through his side with the action. The wound wasn't too deep, the worst he had was probably a broken rib or two. He turned and looked back at Rhea's leg.
"It'll probably need stitches. I took a course in high school, so i think ill be able to help," he said to her. -
-
Leo looked at the body, and made the connection that she had known him.
"I'm sorry," he said quietly. He glanced around, taking in the sight. Bodies and pieces of plane were scattered around the area. The front half of the plane was still intact, and Leo supposed that it would be a good shelter for the night. There were a few suitcases scattered around, some of them opened with the contents spilling out. Hopefully there was some string and a needle. Did airport security allow sewing needles on planes? He hoped so. -
Leo staggered over to an unopened suitcase, and started shuffling through the contents. He heard yelling in the background, but that wasn't important at the moment. He found a small bag filled with sewing supplies, including needles and string. It didn't look very thick, but it would have to do. He picked himself up from the ground, ignoring his side. He looked at it, to see that the jacket was already soaked in blood. He grabbed a shirt from the bag and replaced the jacket. He staggered towards the group to access everyone's wounds.
