Venus continued on, searching for prey. Her favorites, vole and rabbit, were nowhere to be found. Well, if you really wanted a rabbit, you wouldn't be looking in the woodland. There has to be a vole around here!

Suddenly, the scent of a tasty vole reached her. She crouched down, hoping to land a meal. She quickly spotted the creature, plump and grey, moving around a small hole. Fox dung! If I mess up, it will dart back into its burrow! She edged closer, ever so carefully, already tasting the rich, meaty flavor of the animal.

She leaped, snagging the vole between her paws. She dispatched it with a bite, happily snatching up her vole. She buried it, deciding to look for one more piece for Runningwind, just in case he was still hungry after his catch.

Venus dashed after Oliver, slowing down a tail-length behind him. "So, do you have any idea of where you sister is, or where we are going to go?" she asked, her tail kinked in curiousity. This had better not be a blind journey! she thought crossly.

    ---

Celtic padded after them, not saying a word. Her mind was filled with memories of the last journey she had made, when she had been chased from her Clan. It ended well! I found the cave. Maybe after this i will find a new home.

((So, is Thomis just being abandoned?))

Venus rolled her eyes. "That's a lot to go on," she muttered sarcastically. Are these two mouse-brained, or something? And that brown she-cat... she hasn't spoken much! Hmm... I think I like her!

    ---

Celtic followed, her eyes distant. She murmured, "Be careful. There are many different creatures who drink from this stream, not all of them prey." She was somewhat proud of her knowledge of the area. She had lived at the cave for many moons, and knew where the herbs grew best. I feel a bit sad at leaving..

Venus hissed, "Why does scales get to have all the fun? I bet I could fight off a dopey fox!" Geez, just because Larsen is a huge, fanged snake that can... Oh, wait, maybe he should handle it.

    ---

Celtic stayed low to the ground, seething with anger. A fox had destroyed her herb store the previous moon, leaving her empty-pawed. That mange-pelted, mouse-brained...!

Venus quickly grabbed the vole, which was her favorite prey along with rabbit. She dug into it, taking ravenous gulps. After finishing it, she turned to Oliver. "Can I have a mouse as well?"

    ---

Celtic gingerly took the bird-a plump sparrow-and ate it happily. This tastes great! So fresh! She finished it swiftly, still hungry. "I think I am going to try and catch something. I'll be right back," she mewed.

Venus took the last piece of prey, then glanced at Larsen. The lump in his stomach had gone. "You sure you don't want it, scales?"

    ---

Celtic bounded off, eager for a hunt. Thomis had done all of the hunting for the both of them. I kind of miss him....

She looked into the stream. She may have been from WindClan, the Clan of rabbit, but she had always preferred fish. She sat next to the stream, seeing many juicy fish swimming about. She darted a paw into the water, then scooped out a large trout. This is much to big for me to eat by myself! She took the fish and dragged it back to where the others were.
