It was so cold... Like thousands of shards poking at his exposed face. Snow crunched beneath his feet as he struggled to make his way through the terror. People huddled close in their homes, with a fire lit to warm only one human being. He kept saying," This isn't living, it's Hell." He was wrong. That is exactly what life is.

It was a winter no one would forget, it was called the Titan's Blizzard. The walls... There were none... No, these people lived outside the walls. Constantly working on the farm while worrying about their own safety. People could barely raise a family in these conditions. Some didn't survive, but are you one of those people who did..?

Each person has to fulfill their part, here are the ranks you can apply for:

Scout: Watches for titans, protects people; pretty much the same as your average Scout Regiment.
Police: Still the same as original Military Police; helping the people without leaving the main
area.
Defender: First line of defense if titans appear close to the population.

15 years ago, a young woman named Yui was out on patrol with other fellow exorcists. They had to make sure their enemies, the alchemists, would not infiltrate their headquarters again. Another blow and they were done for. In a sudden blaze of blue fire, her comrades were murdered. Anyone with or without eyes would know these were the flames of Satan himself. She toppled over, waiting for her life to vanish too. But it never did. A wolf, glowing pure blue, gazed at her with ferocity. It ran down the winding path, and Yui began to chase it. The wolf turned around and growled," Why must you follow me? My flames can kill anything they touch and I'd gladly do so to you!" Yui frowned, and said in a calm voice," It must be sad... You can only travel to this world by destruction..." Long story short, they began to see each other every day. Not too long later she had become pregnant with his children. Her companion, whose name was Hoeinheim, found out and told her father. Her father happened to be the leader of the exorcists. She was almost killed, but was 'saved' by Satan. He tried to posses those at the church she was being burned at, and killed all but one. Her father. She was saved, and had the children in a secluded place. Hoeinheim found them, and took care of them. However, he had made a deal with a man named Mephisto, that Mephisto was to be let into the exorcist community so that Hoeinheim could raise the children. Now the children are 15, one struggling to look for a job, while one is a big success with her job (alchemist/exorcist). Sorry for such a long story, I couldn't help myself!

Name: Hotaru (Meaning: Firefly) Elric

Appearance: At the bottom
Weapon: Sharp and sleek sword, but does not have it yet.
Alchemist/Exorcist: Wants to be an alchemist because her foster father, Hoeinheim, is now one.
Other: Hotaru knows nothing about the exorcists' and alchemists' true powers and feuds, nor does she know she is a daughter of Satan.

Young Yui is on patrol with her fellow exorcists, and in a sudden ball of blue flames, they are burnt to crisps. She falls over in fear, horror in her pure blue eyes. A silver wolf with a beautiful blue glow, gazed at her with ferocity. It bolted in the other direction, and she followed.
"Why must you follow me? I could kill you right here and now!" it growled as it swung around. Yui gave him a pitiful look.
"Everything you touch becomes engulfed in flames... There's nothing you can hold that won't break..." she sighed. It's eyes widened.
"Use me," Yui said," Satan, use me as a vessel. I want to be the thing you can't break." From then on, they saw each other. Yui became pregnant with his children, and when her partner found out, he went ballistic. Her partner, Hoeinheim, was a comrade of her's who looked out for her. He told her father, who was the leader of the exorcists, and they prepared to burn her. As word spread, the exorcists' enemies, the alchemists, found out. At the burning, they infiltrated the church she was being burned at. They didn't believe in deities like God or anything, they were scientists. Satan had tried to control the exorcists and alchemists, and could only use Yui's father as a vessel and free her. Her father barely survived, and she bore the children in an isolated place. Hoeinheim found her dead, holding the newborns. One engulfed in blue flames, and another that was very human looking. His mission was to kill them, but he made a deal with Mephisto. He couldn't kill these children, they could get a chance at life. Mephisto was a demon who was with him, and he promised not to tell the True Cross (the entire and main exorcist headquarters). That was, unless he could join the exorcists. Reluctantly, Hoeinheim allowed this, and took the children. Now, 15 years later, the secret life of the children is exposed.

Past: Everyone at her schools always made fun of her. They never gave a reason though. She hated them and never talked to anyone at school. Hotaru feels no one will ever feel that loneliness, but she at least comes home to the loving members of the church, like her father who is the priest.
Other: She does not know about being a daughter of Satan, and the two clashing sides of alchemists (science) and exorcists (religion).
