Malice trudged through the snow following the scent of a wolf who he was sent to finish off. Unfortunately, the stupid humans had interrupted the destruction of the Moon pack; there was one member left. The best fighter. Blackfang or Soul. The humans had come i9n and saved him while running his pack, DarkForest pack, away or killing the wolves that tried to fight back. Malice saw a cave in the distance. "Hmm.....he must of taken refuge there." Malice raced towards the cave. "Lets get this over with,"he muttered. Malice ran into the cave and found not Blackfang, but a white/grey she-wolf sleeping. With a frustrating growl he jumped on the she-wolf and snarled in her face. "WERE IS HE!"Malice howled with rage.

Malice steadied himself and looked back at the new he-wolf. Malice smiled cruelly. "Aww. How sweet coming to save the day,"Malice taunted. He got up and circled around Blackfang. "You do know who I am right?"Malice asked.

Malice chuckled. "Nope,"he said. "So this is were you went......not my first choice, huh, Blackfang? Do you even remember me? Are you that forgetful? Sheesh...."

"Oh, yes, of course...cause we destroyed your pack,"Malice sneered. "Oh and how fun it was to slowly tear apart that lovely golden she-wolf. Fur so beautiful....I just wanted to mess it up!"Malice laughed.

Malice whipped around and pined the dumbfounded Moon pack wolf to the cave floor. Malice crouched down and whispered in Soul's ear,"My names Malice. Remember that in Spirit Spirit is "heaven". Bye bye." Malice lunged for Soul's throat.

Malice was stunned. He regained his composure and glared up at the she-wolf. "THAT was unwise,"he snarled. Malice pushed up off the ground dislodging the she-wolf. He spun around and slashed a red line on her muzzle. "Learn to keep your peace! I'd of let you live if you hadn't of interfered! Now you'll pay for getting in my way!" Malice rushed forward, slammed the she-wolf into the ground, and lunged at her throat.

Malice advanced toward the she-wolf. He backed her into the wall. He pulled his lips back, baring his fangs. He lunged forward and caught hold of the she-wolf's shoulder. He flung her to the ground, pined her there while still biting into her shoulder, and sank his claws into her flank.

Lycan padded soundlessly through the forest. He looked up at the moon. He made his way over some rocks and saw a pack of wolves hunting. One of them stumbled and ignored the signs of two other wolves. Thus almost letting the elk get away. The ashamed she-wolf ran off. Lycan, curious, made his way back down the rocks and silently followed after her. He hid under a fallen log and watched her blame herself and drown in sadness and misery. Lycan sighed. The she-wolf shouldn't tear herself up about it but look for her mistake and remember to fix it next time. He rested he head on his paws and lazily watched the she-wolf.

Lycan raised his head up in suprize. The she-wolf had smelled him? Thats a first. Normally he was never scented unless he wanted to be. He smiled. She had a good nose. Lycan stretched and slid out from under the log. He sat down and silently observed the she-wolf; watching every move and reaction. Finally he broke the silence. "I'm Lycan. I'm a loner just passing through. I saw you with your pack hunting. Don't tear yourself up about your mistake, just learn from it for next time."

Lycan raised an eyebrow at the new wolf. He assessed him; looking him up and down. Knowing he wasn't a threat his mouth curled up. "Might wanna watch them birds....and your step," he joked. Lycan stood up. "I think I'll get going. This isn't my territory so I wouldn't want to overstay my welcome." Lycan nodded to Lael and started to pad off.

Lycan smiled as he heard the wolves talking as he walked away. He walked up the mountain and found a small cave. Lycan laid down and laid his head on his paws. He looked up at the moon and sighed. "Lonely and desolate as you my friend," he said to the moon,"You may look on us but never play with us only whisper to the few that will hear you. Me, I can talk and play, but none listens and all chase away. Oh moon your surely are wise I follow your soft voice; each other comforting one another. My only friend." Lycan said his night "talk/ritual" to the moon. Sometimes he could hear soft words that helped him in times of need. Others would mock him and so he quit telling others about that small kind helpful voice and kept to himself. He'd also keep his "talks" to himself fearing for if anyone heard him he'd be scorned and laughed at. Most thought him a strong tough brute, but really inside he was as frail as a pup. The only thing that gave him strength was the wise advise from his soft voice. Lycan closed his eyes and soon drifted off to sleep.

Lycan opened his eyes to the morning sun. He yawned and stretched. Sitting up he sniffed the air. The morning was fresh and cool. Lycan padded out of his makeshift den. He made his way around the mountain, but stopped when an unwelcome scent crossed his nose. His hackles rose and a low growl rumbled in his throat. How could they go this far into the wild? But he knew the answer; they can go anywhere they please and do anything they want. Humans..... Lycan followed the scent carefully till he came around a corner and about ran into the human camp. Lycan peered around a boulder and watched the humans. Some huddled around a fire and some were picking up there things. One was writing in something; huddled by the fire. Curious, Lycan crept around the boulder and closer to the woman writing. A stone skittered under his paw and he froze as the woman looked up. They stared at each other for a minute then the lady's eyes widened and she gave a shriek of suprize. Lycan skittered back and slipped. The men yelled and started forward. Lycan spun around yelling at himself for being so careless and stupid. He raced back down the mountain and back into the valley. He accidentally spooked some elk; which scattered off immediately. Lycan stopped, panting, and watched the elk herd run off.

Silver jumped and scrambled franticly, trying to haul herself over the fence. She struggled over the fence just as a gun shot blasted a hole where she'd just been. Silver hit the ground hard, but jumped straight back up and darted off. She wove her way through the maze of alleys, fences, and buildings. She ran into the town park and found a dranage pipe. She crawled into the pipe and hoped and prayed the mean people and dogs wouldn't find her. Silver is a one year old she-wolf with silver fur and aqua blue eyes. Currently she was caught by trappers and managed to escape.....or trying to.

Below is what she looks like:

Lycan stiffened and his eyes widened as something wized past him. He looked to see Lael running full speed after the spooked herd. He immediately felt bad; he must of scared the elk that Lael and maybe River was hunting. He looked back the way towards the humans. He growled. "Better tell them about the humans," he said and took off the way he'd seen Lael go.

Lycan skidded to a halt, panting. He looked over to Lael and River; also seeing a new wolf. He eyed the new wolf. As he started to walk towards them a roar sounded. Lycan's heart stopped for a minute. "Bear...," he whispered in fear. A massive grizzly came charging through the trees. Lycan's eyes widened and dread spread through him as he saw the grizzly going after Lael, River, and the other wolf.
