ShadowFlame padded up to a tree and laid back against its sturdy trunk.He felt eyes on the back of his neck and looked in the bushes.How had he not noticed all along somebody had followed him.Whoever you are you can come out now.

Whew it didn't seem like she was in trouble.She padded out of the den along with her sister LilacPaw.Whos going on morning patrol?

Well i guess thats fine the Deputy stated padding deeper into the forest.He caught sight of a mouse and clawed it in one quick kill.So do you normally stay up this late?

ShadowFlame started heading back to camp sparrow in jaws and a mouse hooked on his claw.Im going to put these in the freshkill pile ,spoke.

Sorry the massive tom said faking his falling asleep.He curled his long black tail around his muscled body.

Fine im not going to sleep he got up and padded off into the forest.He usually stayed up laate like this.He was kind of like and owl he set off for his nightly walk.

ShadowFlame continued padding off into the distance now he was out of sight of the barn.He didn't wanna tell GoldStripe but he just didn't feel at home in a TwoLeg building and the barn was one.ShadowFlame continued walking and soon caught sight of a cave outcropped in a hill.He padded inside and laid down on the cold stone floor of the cave.Thats more like it the massive tom thought.He looked up at the stars and blinked his eyes slowly ,but before he fell asleep he noticed he left a trail of torn leaves.Darn he thought hope GoldStripe doesn't follow me.She might feel bad about me not sleeping inh the barn...His eyes grew heavy and he fell asleep after those thoughts.

ShadowFlame woke up to the sunlight streaming in at the mouth of the cave.Then he remembered The trail,he looked around him frantically.Whew she wasn't there.He was still tired so he laid his head back down.

Ok ShadowPaw replied nervously.LilacPaw giggled.Anybody else?ShadowPaws voice rang out in the camp more confident this time.

ShadowPaw ears perked up to the loud high pitched yell.Hmm i could he said.But maybe i will stay he said teasing the she-cat.

CACTUSPAW ShadowPelt shouted but her voice quickly faded.

Good she stated glaring at Lost.She saw a large tom heading toward them oh its SmokePelt.I'll join SmokePelt shouted.Well lets get a move on then.ShadowPaw padded through the thorn entrance into the fog laden woods.

It seemed everybody was independent hunters she thoughts to herself.She departed from the patrol to hunt alone to.She silently stalked a rather large black rabbit.With an unnatural quickness she pounced on her prey nipping its neck with a fatal bite.

ShadowFlame padded out to the side of the tribe and sat down hidden by the bushes.He needed some alone time now.He pawed at the ground silently and listened to the wind whistle through the trees and looked up at the shimmering moon.He wish he could stay in this moment forever,or share the moment with somebody he was mesmerized by the whole moment.

Gosh its me its me the Massive tom exclaimed but for self defense he had tripped the she-cat when she had landed on the ground.He looked over at her laying on the ground ,sorry he whispered.
