the chief saw no fear in her eyes and that made his blood boil. He wanted to hurt this pale face in every way possible. "Take Taham to the oak tree." He commanded. Tahams heart dropped and his eyes widened. He wasn't one to fear things but everyone knew what happened at the great oak. Two warriors carried him off into the woods and out of sight but a few seconds passed before his painful scream echoed throughout the clearing, it lasted a few seconds then another one of his screams came, then it was dead silent. One of the warriors came back and he had a bit of blood on his hands, "Remember to keep him alive," said the Chief. "Te'yan take the prisoner to the tent while we prepare her stake," Te'yan who was still cringing from the sound of his best friends pain nodded and grabbed a hold of Crystal and led her away. He shoved her into a small tent that was outside the village, he glared at her, "This is your fault! My best friend is at the great oak because of you!" He hissed. "But as much as I despise you, he wants you safe. So for the sake of Taham I'm letting you go, run through the tree line to the meadow Taham showed you. No one knows where it is except me Taham and you. I'll try to get him out of here. If he isn't there to meet you within three hours you run as far away as possible," he informed

One hour passed before the bushes rustled and Te'yan walked through leading a horse, and ontop of the horse was Taham. He stopped infront of Crystal before helping his friend down to the ground. Tahams eyes were shut and he winced. His bare torso had bandages on and so did his left shoulder. "Take care of him," said Te'yan before climbing onto the horse and galloping off. "Crystal?" Tahams hoarse voice spoke as he slowly opened his eyes,
-
"Non of this is your fault," he assured curving his lips upwards in a small smile, he slowly moved to sit up, sucking in his breath and wincing as he did so. Once he was fully upright he looked to Crystal, "At least now I don't have to marry Naomi, and to top it off I'm still in one piece," he said joking to try and lighten up the mood
-
"I don't know..." He said thinking about it. "You can go back to your family." He said softly, "The chief won't go through with an attack because a lot of the warriors are my friends, and they wouldn't obey someone that caused me harm. So you and your family will be safe." He explained, "Maybe you should forget about me. Get yourself a good strong husband, one that wouldn't risk your safety just by being with you."
-
He extended his hand towards hers and intertwined their fingers together, "Well your the most beautiful beast that I have ever seen," he chuckled smiling. "We must he's deeper into the woods down into the valley as across the deep river. After that there are flat plains inhabited by horses. There shouldn't be any people there so it is a perfect place,"
-
"Eager to start huh?" he chuckled. "Why don't we first rest? Then we can get a fresh start in the morning," he suggested. "Besides, my wounds are still sore, I think I need a few hours just to recuperate," he added, he looked down onto his torso and saw the red sticky liquid start to seep through the bandages, "Do you by any chance know how to clean wounds and bandage a person up?" he asked
-
"Um... I don't think they're that bad." He spoke. He gently started to unwrap the bandages on his abdomen and shoulder. Once they were taken off they revealed multiple slashes on his stomach with one stab wound that looked as of they twisted the knife then pulled it out. On his shoulder was another stab wound like the one on his shoulder, "I could be wrong..."
-
He slowly stood up then spoke, "Let's walk to the river where we washed in, there is a tree that we can sleep under after we clean myself up," he suggested, "And about the cloth, maybe we can just wash the old ones and reapply them."
-
"Of course we'll be okay," he assured, "Once we reach the plains I'll build you a house, we can live together and I'll take care of you," he smiled pulling her closer to his body as they walked, "And no matter what, I'll always keep you safe." He added. It's was funny to him to think that only a month ago his whole life was simple and normal, and only in those little amount of days had everything changed.
-
he was confused at first when she pushed him away but then he smiled in amusement as she finished her sentence, he burst into a fit of laughter before responding, "If you want to help, then who am I to deny you that right?" He asked as his laughter died down
-
"If these wounds won't be the death of me I'm sure you will," he smiled walking forward. When they reach the river he waded waist deep in and watched as the blood washed off his skin into the water, turning the Crystal clear water a dark shade of red
-
he smiled at her after she broke the brief kiss, "Thank you," he said softly, "For helping me." He added. He drew in air sharply through his teeth and winced as she ran over a particularly painful spot, and he kept on fidgeting and moving. "Sorry for moving so much, but these wound sting," he apologized.
-
his arms stretched out and he placed his hands on hers waist pulling her closer towards his body, "Thank you for everything Crystal." He said, "I'm sorry for dragging you into this great big mess. But on the other hand I'm glad, now I get to be with you," he smiled before leaning his head downwards and connecting their lips. It wasn't like the other kisses that were only small pecks, this was a real kiss.
-
"Let sleep under that tree, the grass is soft so it wont be uncomfortable. Then we can leave at dawn," he responded. Taking her hand and leading her under the big tree. He sat down and then laid down onto his back, "You can lay ontop of my chest if you want to," he smiled
-
"You can take care of yourself? Says the girl who got lost following a butterfly," he laughed, "Just kidding!" He quickly added. "And don't worry about my wounds, I like it a lot more when your close to me than when your not,"
-
"Did you just bite me?" He asked trying to hide his obvious amusement. "And probably never, it was the funniest thing I've ever heard," he chuckled. His arm tightened around her Fran bringing her closer. "Goodnight Crystal," he said softly placin a kiss on her forehead
-
he slowly moved so that he was on his side. Making sure it was his good shoulder that he was laying on. He pulled her body towards his chest, that was radiating warmth, his arms linked around her waist and he spoke up, "Better?"
-
"Nope, I'm fine," he assured, "Now get some rest we are going to have a lot of walking to do tomorrow," he instructed. "And if we get far enough we might have to cross the deep part of the river which is very dangerous,"
-
I AM SO SORRY!! My computer decided to say, 'Fuck you, I'm gonna break and become unfix able,' but I got a new one today so I'll be back to normal. I really am sorry!!!
As the morning broke through the tall trees, the suns rays extended out over the field. Taham slowly woke up and his eyes opened. A yawn escaped his lips as he looked around. He smiled when he saw Crystal and gently nudged her with his hand, "Crystal, it's about time we wake up and start walking," he said softly as he slowly moved so that he was sitting upward

The thunderous sounds of horse hooves hitting the floor filled the air as Luke and his guards rode into the center of the village. He often made these trips to just her out of the castle and of course look for girls. "Your majesty, would you like to come try my new cakes?" Asked the baker as he bowed before speaking.
"Why not," replied Luke, "John, look after my horse I will be back soon," Luke followed the baker and the sweet smell of cakes and bread invaded his senses as he stepped in. But the first thing he noticed was the beautiful young girl in the back sweeping the floor.
