Down below the thundering hooves of horses filled the air along eith the sound of Castle Soldiers shouting. "Find the two fugitives!" Was what they said over and over. She hugged Jay tightly, "Thank you," she whispered before taking off and making her way out of the place. A few minutes later a loud knock sounded downstairs, then soon someone was running upstairs and burst into the room, non other than John, "You have made Prince Luke very upset," he said

he glared at her and kept his mouth shut trying to think of a cunning remark but not coming up with any, he just gripped her arm making sure to dig his nails into her skin, "I don't know why he chose you, there are so many other women." He mumbled, "I mean the least he could do is take all that you can give," he chuckled suggestively, "I know I would,"

"Stop moving!" He hissed pulling her down the stairs. "I hope he throws you out, that way I can get you, I like firstly girls," he said with a cold glare and an evil smile. "Now you can get on the horse yourself or I'll put you on it, your choice,"

He smirked and then climbed up onto the horse sitting behind her on the saddle, "Don't want you riding off now do we," he whispered in her ear, "And don't worry death can also be arranged for you," he said before snapping the reins and taking off in a gallop

He grunted and cursed, "Watch yourself, Katherine" he said. Soon the caste came into view and he stopped at the front. "Luke is waiting for you in his quarters. Don't try to run, just do as your told for once," said John holding back the urge to shove her off the horse

The door opened and revealed a worried looking Luke, he stepped aside and let her walk in. He stayed silent as he shut the door and walked over to the window looking out. He was wondering what to say but the only thing he could say was, "Why did you leave?" He asked. "Did I do something,"

He turned around to face her, "If it was important to you, I would've tried to help," he said softly. He sighed then turned back to the window, "Leave me be, and go get me Sarah, I must speak to her alone." He said moving his arms so that they were held behind his back

"What?" He said confused to the fullest. "I sent John to find you two, your here so obviously that means...." He sighed and ran his hand over his face, "She got away," he walked over to the door and slammed it shut locking it securely, "In that case you aren't leaving my sight,"

"Well I was probably drunk," he said trying to stifle a laugh. "Listen Jay, I don't like it when people drug me and then I wake up in my bed with you no where in sight." He explained, "And not trying to be a warden, I'm just trying not to lose you,"

"Don't even remind me of what I said," he said feeling a bit embarrassed, "And well, I have my own reasons, and I really don't have to share them with you..." He said avoiding her gaze. "Besides you wouldn't even understand,"

"I know you won't understand because I barely do." He replied obviously frustrated, he walked across the room and sat on the bed next to her, "How about, when I figure it out myself, I'll tell you." He suggested keeping his gaze upon her

he lowered his body so that he was laying down as well, Just do it! Don't be a coward! luke gained enough courage then sat up on his elbow, "I'm gonna try something again," he said. He leaned his head down and placed his lips against hers, feeling an unusual happiness inside of him. Its official, I like her. Now how do I tell her..

He slowly pulled back and placed a quick gentle peck to the corner of her mouth, "Don't leave again," he said softly. "I want you to stay," his hand went to grab hers and his fingers intwined with hers, "Your not like anyone I've met. And I like that about you."

"That's good," he smiled . "Tell me something, and you must be completely honest with me," he said sitting upright, "I have been hearing things about John. Hes been trying to get the girls in the castle alone," he started, "Has...has he tried anything on you?"

"Well, I don't plan on getting rid of you," he said, "And I would've done a lot more than just elbow him," he said chuckling. "But if he bothers you again just tell me, he'll be out of the castle and locked up before you can blink," he said a bit more serious

"Good, now what do you want to do today?" He asked, "We can stroll through the garden, go to the lake for a swim, or we can go riding again," he smiled. "We also have a maze but that is pretty tricky to get out of," he added

"Okay," he smiled, "Let me just get a shirt on," he said. He walked over to the closet and pulled out a loose white shirt then tugged it over his head making his hair messy, "Let me just say that when I finish first I will help you get out," he said thinking he could beat her

"Right," he agreed, "And sine your lady in waiting isn't there to help you, do you think you can manage until I can get you a new lady in waiting?" He asked walking towards her, "Or I could help you, it's your choice," he smiled mischievously.
