[justify]have any of you read/seen the great gatsby?[/justify]
[justify]oOOOOkay *cracks knuckles* excuse this rant.
i really have a passionate hatred for daisy. but, do not get mad at me because i have more than a couple of reasons for this disliking in her.
1. daisy fell in love with gatsby first. i know, i know, she thought gatsby was dead and everything, but he came back, and she began to fall in love with him again, but she chose to stay with tom, who was cheating on her all this time.
2. daisy never called gatsby, and this part in the movie almost made me throw the remote at the tv; nick called gatsby, not daisy. and, now, even now that he's dead, jay has kept on believing that daisy-- the love of his life, and may i dare say the only woman that gatsby has ever loved-- called him, but it was just nick carraway. and i believe that if daisy where to have called him, then jay would have never died!
3. at jay's funeral, daisy never even came. i strongly believe that she never even shed a single tear when she found out about his passing; and, instead of going to the funeral like a civilized person, she-- and with the man that has cheated on her almost their whole entire marriage-- decide to move off to god knows where, leaving nick, and their million dollar mansion behind, to escape the life that they had so well, and just start over somewhere new completely, where tom will probably just go off and find another mistress to... release himself into, while poor daisy could have avoided all of that just by running away with gatsby, the one that truly loved her, instead of staying with the douche tom.
