"I like you. What's your name, killer?" Perch teased with a chuckle, stuffing her hands in her pockets. She decided to take of her glasses first though as they were becoming quite bothersome to look through. Especially with the crack in the left lens.

"Well... I know we don't talk much... or at all ... so maybe we can just get to know each other and break this awkward wall between us?" David suggest, clearly a little guilt with having to admit to ignoring him before.
-
David couldn't help bug be a little frightened by same's obsession with flames, but still he.continued. "Everyone is a little hard to get to know at first but there is no better place to start like the present, right?"
-
The next morning Gabe woke up, still feeling a little groggy and he slipped out of bed and put his shoes and socks back on. He shuffled over to Demtre and lightly tapped his shoulder to wake him up. "Sorry. I hate to wake you, but I think we should start on our way back home. My parents must be worrieed about me." he said with a yawn.
-
"Well, after highschool I started working at a bookstore and then I decided to actually make something of myself so I used what was left of my scholarship to go after my hope of being an author... still work at the bookstore though." David responded with a sigh. "What about you?"
-
"What do you mean? Like do I have to wait for you to wake up? I do hate to wake you but my parents must be going crazy looking for me." Gabriel responded with a confused expression, not understanding what Damtre meant.
-
"Oh... yeah uh... m-my mom is kinda like that too. Real religious..." Dave stuttered at almost a whisper. It was a really personal issue but to find someone to relate was rare. He stared at his feet for a while and then looked up at the match. "You shouls be careful with those." he pointed out.
-
"You are probably not suppposed to have them in the dorm." Dave pointed out, still very frightened about Sam's fasination with flames.
-
"I wouldn't report you," David said trying to be reassuring even though it looked like Sam was tring ti sleep. "I just don't think your obsession with fire is healthy. You were already burned once a- ..." David stopped, thinking it rude to bring it up.
-
Dave felt a mix of guilt and frustration and he squeezed his fists to help control both feelings. "Fire is dangerous and you should know that! What if you were to burn down the entire dorm because of your lack of care and consideration?" David did not really care about it before, but now he felt like his pride was being atttacked as Sam grabbed the match anything like defiant child. But instead of David acting grown up, he too was acting childish.
-
Dave realised that arguing about itbwas stupid, because as prove, the matches couldn't really do anything except for on purpose. "Well... alright. As long as you are careful I guess." he sighed giving an apologetic smile.
-
"If you're killin' the right people..." Perch grunted, struggling over the fence. Once she reached the top, she fell over the othet side, landing on her face. She grunted in pain, rubbing her nose to make sure it wasn't broken. Good thing I took my glasses off. she thought. She quickly ran to catch up with Karma, stumbling clumsily on the way since she was put off balance from the fall.
-
"Yeah, I'm sorrt too." Dave answered. Hearing Sam talking to his book, he looked over curiously."What are you reading? " Dave asked. He was always interested in fantasy novel, which by the words "Lake monster", the book probably was.
-
Gabriel was confused but he did so and walked to the door, trying to walk out of the door, but he found himself unable to. He was a little scared, but he didn't realise the sevarity of the situation.
-
Perch snickered like a little kid, watching the fight with glee. She loved nothing more than watching without being involved. While she was here she might as well make it more interesting. "Hey ladies, ladies. Just kiss and make up already." she chuckled. It wasn't a great tease, but she didn't have much content to work with.
-
"Wow. Culture." David laughed sincerely. He was now starting to seriously regret all of the days he spent ignoring Sam.
-
Gabri hurried back to Demtre's side, shaking him with his anxiety growing every second. "Hey! Wake up! I couldn't go through the door!" he said urgently as if Demtre had a solution or was willig to help him.
-
"Ummm uh no. Neither . I-I don't have either." David answered quickly and nervously. He didn't want to lie and say he didn't like boys but he didn't want to come out in front of a guy he only just had gotten to know and like. He would hate to have it all ruined if Sam thought it was uncomfortable to be around a gay guy. "W-what about you?" he said before Sam could comment on his stuttering in his answer.
-
"I don't understand. That doesn't make any sense..." he answered sheepishly, pulling his hand back like.he had just touch a flame. Demtre snapped at him like it was easy ti understand, but Gabe had never encountered something so strange.
-
One what? David thought at the same time Sam did. He wasn't going to ask because it would be rude and it would invite Sam to clarify his sexuality. Instead he just sat awkwardly and stared at the ground.
