There was so much fruit that Cheri could scent it as she dreamed. She dreamed she was in a fruity tropical paradise.

Lovik started drawing in the dirt, bored. Nothing much happening now, but I should be glad for this temporary peace.
-
Lovikaie would've normally been disturbed by the blood in his teeth, but she regarded it as normal.
-
Lovik didn't know what to call her drawing. "It's a picture of an animal that was in my forest, but I've never really had a chance to name its kind. It's like a fox but bigger and gray-brown in color. I usually hid from them when whole packs of them passed through my area of the woods. You know what animal this is?"
-
Cherimoya woke up hungry. She padded to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a lemon, squinting a bit from the sour taste. She noticed that the camp was rather quiet, and Wildheart was no longer present. Cheri caught a glance of the drawing in the dirt and looked at it curiously. She realized it was a drawing of the territory, and some areas were marked. I wonder what it means, she thought, taking a bite out of the lemon without even wrinkling her nose.
-
"They always chased me if I didn't hide. I could almost understand their language when I was in fox form, but they only talked about chasing things and their last successful hunt," Lovikaie explained, wondering why the wolves weren't friendly to her.
-
"They don't like humans?" she asked, confused. "But I'm not human all the time"
-
Cheri finished her lemon and left the drawing, and padded over to Nightglare. "What's up?" she mewed, noticing the spark of anger in her eyes.
-
Lovik sighed, thinking about the recently killed deer. Wolves kill deer too. Am I the only one just not strong enough to bring down such a large animal? Do the wolves not like me because I'm weak? She didn't understand.
-
Lovik lifted her head, a little freaked out. It's like he read my mind... "Thanks, but honestly, what's the most I have done?"
-
Cherryclaw sat on the ground next to her. "Just askin' what's up?"
-
"I guess so," she said quietly, looking back down.
-
"Maybe we just need something to do. Everyone gets bored," Cheri replied, trying to help.
-
Lovik looked up and smiled from the support everyone gave her. "Thanks, guys," said said, and this time she meant it.
-
Then what did she mean? Lovik said in her mind.
-
Cheri gave a quick glance at her wounds. "We can still talk, can't we? There's something to do!"
-
"I know, but..." Cheri couldn't think of what to say next.
-
"No, I haven't..." Cheri got up and went to the nursery without another word.
