A young ginger kit sat at the edge of the gorge. Her fur was ruffled and blue eyes were wide. She yowled out a cry for help but it was very quiet. She curled up into a ball and went to sleep. Her ginger fur was barely visible.

Nikki was drawing on a picnic bench. Her fire dog Flare was sleeping on the bench next to her. She was focusing on her drawing so much she didn't notice another camper near her.

Mist sighed and sat down. "I have a thorn in my paw." she mewed as she stuck out her paw for the white she-cat to see.

Frost's eyes light up as Venom steps into the arctic forest. "Well, what do you think?" she asked.

Talibara got up and shook her fur. "No I'm not dead." she mewed. "I'm fine."

A hint of amusement sparked in her eye. "Too cold for you?" she teased playfully.

A black she-cat sprang out from a bush. "Hi! I haven't seen you around here before." she meowed.

"What do you want to play?" Juniperkit asked excitedly.

Frost's eyes spark with a bit of fear but she holds her gaze. "Can you show me?" she prompted.

"Ok! I'll be the fox! Roar!" Juniperkit pounced onto Blazekit.

"That is so cool." Frost remarked. "My mother was ice." Her voice cracked a little. "I never met my father." She lay down in the snow and buried her muzzle into her paws.

Juniperkit gave a small playful growl and batted at Blazekit with her paws. "Roar!" she squeaked.

Frost felt warm with Venom's wing on her. "Your lucky. You got to meet both your parents." she murmured.

Juniperkit let out a defeated sigh and went limp. "Oh you got me!" she mewed playfully and fell over.

Juniperkit started walking away in defeat when she suddenly turned and pounced back onto Blazekit. "Foxes will rule!" she growled playfully.
