Jayfeather's eyes narrowed when he heard Snakefang mumble about Lionblaze. "StarClan is right," he snapped. "Lionblaze isn't StarClan." He sniffed at Mistystar's wound; he could smell threatening festering bacteria. "Now, if only StarClan could heal this...." he stamped into the medicine den and returned with multiple herbs and stacks of cobwebs.

Lionblaze narrowed his eyes and splashed into the lake, though he was unsure of his footing in the water. He knew how to swim, but nowhere near as expertly as RiverClan cats. Lionblaze pushed through the water towards Longclaw, trying not flinch at the waves in the lake, turned up by the thundering rain.

OOC: @Catlove808: That would be fine... just make sure their suspicions are reasonable :)
And Turtlefrost I will do that :3

My new WindClan cat: Honeypelt-- ginger she-cat with amber eyes; half-sister of Almondrain.

IC (time skip to about half a moon later~)

Almondrain lay in her nest in the nursery, fur prickling. She'd been taken off hunting and border patrols; border patrols because they were too dangerous for a queen so close to kitting, and hunting patrols because she was getting so big she could no longer run nimbly across WindClan moors and manage to catch prey. The she-cat looked outside, where the moon hung in the sky. The moon was barely a claw-scratch; and WindClan planned to attack ShadowClan the next day, in the morning. Please, StarClan, Almondrain prayed. Please, please protect Hawkstripe...

Meanwhile, in the warrior's den, Honeypelt talked with the other warriors about the battle to come. Honeypelt was a young warrior, and she was excited for the battle. "Go to sleep," snapped one of the senior warriors at the band of younger ones. "You'll need your strength for tomorrow's battle." Reluctantly, Honeypelt shushed her chatter, curling up in her nest.

Jayfeather snapped, "What was Lionblaze chosen for then? He's done his job, and well, we defeated the Dark Forest. That was what StarClan chose him for. And he did it... so they chose correctly." Jayfeather grumbled and nearly stomped his paw in frustration at Mistystar's wound... he wasn't sure he could save the leader. "Do you know how many lives she has left?" he asked.

When Longclaw launched himself at Lionblaze, Lionblaze swung his paw out at the tom and hit him in the face before toppling underwater. Lionblaze struggled under the liquid, almost panicked. Then a thought came to his head: Fighting to swim in the water is a battle... you can win anything... New confidence charged through Lionblaze and he swam stronger, faster, some new instinctual swimming strength coursing through his body. "Yes!" he roared, and launched deeper into the water, looking for Longclaw. He saw the tom, and swam full force and barreled into Longclaw underwater.
