Ravenstar staggered to the side, but managed to regain his balance. He clawed up the base of a nearby tree, using the trunk to push off and land on the medicine cat. He scratched her sides, nipped her shoulder.

Spottedstar leapt next to Mintfern and Ravenstar and dug her claws into Ravenstars hindlegs, then bit the tip of his tail and yanked as hard as she could.

Foxwhisker leapt onto Ravenstar's shoulders, his nimbleness serving him well, and bit down on his left shoulder. "Leave Our Medicine Cat Alone!" he yowled.

Ravenstar noticed a flicker in Splashcloud's gaze, and just as Ravenstar was about to glare back, he realized the foolishness in his actions. Ravenstar dipped his head and padded away, calling over his shoulder, "If you wish, Splashcloud, you can join us."
I'm clan leader for starclan's sake, I can't be such a mouse-brain! I can't act like a kit just because another cat is talking to a she-cat I like...
"But I'm calling a meeting soon, it will be pretty important, so don't be long." This time there was no trace of edge, anger, or jealousy in Ravenstar's mew, he was simply alerting Splashcloud and Briarheart of a time-constraint.

Other: Has a crush on Splashcloud, even though he's older then her (Only by about 3 moons... Don't forget, Pinestar/Leopardfoot had kits, and he was leader before she was born!)

OOC: I think I hear a bell.... Whats that ringing?... Does anyone else hear it??.... Oh yeah, it's the Drama bell. Now Ravenstar and Splashcloud like Briarheart, and Briarheart likes Ravenstar and Splashcloud, but Cherrypaw also likes Splashcloud..... Confusing, huh?

Ravenstar grew impatient and he leapt to the Highrock to call the clan together, interrupting Briarheart and Splashcloud. Ravenstar shot Briarheart an apologetic glance then adressed the clan, "It is time to perform 3 very important events this evening."
"First, I will name a new warrior. Growlpaw, you were my apprentice, and from this day forward you shall be known as Growlfeather."

"I will also name a new apprentice, Cherrypaw, come forward. You are in need of a mentor... I shall be mentor to young Cherrypaw."

"I will also name a new deputy. Shimmerpool is our current deputy, but she has been neglecting her duties. The new deputy of Mapleclan shall be Briarheart." "I had a tough time deciding on the new deputy, the options being between Briarheart and Splashcloud. I hope no cat has taken offense at my decision."

Spottedkit turned to see Stormkit padding towards her. He looks cheery, she thought, If only he knew how much I loved him... Spottedkit dashed to Stormkit's side, fast but gracefully, and rubbed her fur against his, "Yes," she asked warmly, "What is it?"

Spottedstar turned in shock to see Birdkit, and shortly behind her a she-cat who smelled of crow-food.
"What's this, Birdkit?" Spottedstar asked evenly, "Why are you so far out of camp?" Then Spottedstar turned to Coronawing, "How dare you challenge my defenses. This cat," pointing to Ravenstar with her tail, "Attacked my Medicine Cat. What was I supposed to do? Ask nicely for him to let her go?!" Spottedstar spit out the words with an infuriated hiss. Spottedstar did NOT like this newcomer. AT ALL

OOC: Approved, nice choice of name by the way ;)
OOC: Do you mind Briarheart being deputy? If it's too much of a time-consumer I can change the deputy...
OOC: Cherrypaw doesn't like Splashcloud anymore- she likes Ravenpaw! Figured that whole little love triangle love octagon was a bit too much...

Ravenstar hadn't finished yet. "I almost forgot," he said, "Sunpaw, you too shall join the Warriors den this evening. Your name, from this day forward, shall be Sunleap. Starclan honors you as a full warrior. We also have one more apprentice to appoint."
Ravenstar glanced at Ravenpaw, "Ravenpaw- Welcome to Mapleclan. From this day forward your mentor shall be Sunleap."

Cherrypaw glanced at the new apprentice and scampered to his side, "Hi! I'm Cherrypaw!" she rubbed affectionately against Ravenpaw's side, not knowing he had a crush on her.

Spottedkit rubbed her fur against his supportively "Congratulations!" she mewed

Spottedstar relaxed her fur, "I wouldn't plan on attacking a cat without the defense to protect herself." she hissed

Ravenstar glanced lovingly back at Briarheart, "Briarheart!" he cheered.
Then he glanced at Splashcloud, and his gaze darkened. He didn't trust the black and white tom. (Thought I might have a Brambleclaw/Ashfur effect, except without the murdering part)

OOC: Thank you! It seemed to fit thanks to all the cats involved

OOC: Who reported my post earlier??? Anyway- whoever it was, I'm sorry ...

Spottedstar looked at Birdkit, then at Coronawing. "I apologize for my previous words, Lightningclan would be lucky to have you as a member."

Spottedkit rubbed affectionately against Stormkit's shoulder, "Of course I'll cheer the loudest!" she purred.

OOC: Thank you for joining! The Tribe of The Setting Sun is lucky to have members at all! I appreciate you all wanting to join!

OOC: Interesting plot idea with the Hawk character! Wolfstep and Honeypaw are approved. We'll wait for Splashcloud, Briarheart, and Dancingpaw to come back to camp, and then we'll have the ceremony!

Cherrypaw gazed at Ravenpaw affectionately, then ducked from under his paws, twisted, and put a paw on his tail (claws sheathed, of course), "No. I got you!" she purred. Cherrypaw leaned forward and licked Ravenpaw's cheek, then flattened her ears and jerked away, "I'm sorry," she apologized, "I shouldn't have done that..."

Violetgaze looked up at the Rockpile, pricked her ears, and listened intently.

Spottedstar dipped her head and padded back to camp with the others following, leaving Ravenstar to return to his own territory.

As the patrol entered the camp, Spottedstar leapt to the Highrock. "We have 2 new apprentices who are due ready to become warriors." she called, "Thunderpaw, Wildpaw, come forward."
"Wildpaw- you were Foxwhisker's apprentice, and you've trained well. From this day onward you shall be known as Wildpath."
"Thunderpaw- you were Silentsoul's apprentice, and you've trained well. From this day onward you shall be known as Thunderblaze."

Spottedstar chanted the two cats new names, then turned to Nightheart. "You're kits have reached their 6th moon, and although Birdkit and Stormkit are a bit older, they shall all become apprentices at this moment."
"Grasskit, Heartkit, Leopardkit, Shinekit, Birdkit, and Stormkit- Come forward."
"Grasskit- Your mentor shall be Wildpath.
Heartkit- Your mentor shall be Thunderblaze.
Shinekit- Your mentor shall be Snowfire.
Leopardkit- Your mentor shall be Twilightsky.
Birdkit- Your mentor shall be Hollythorn.
Stormkit-," Spottedstar glanced at the tom, "Your mentor shall be me."

Spottedkit stared in awe at Stormkit's choice of mentor, then began to cheer loudly for the new apprentices, Stormkit especially.

Cherrypaw glanced at Ravenpaw, then turned her gaze to her paws. "Do you want to be friends?" she purred tentatively.

Ravenstar stared at the camp entrance, slightly envious and annoyed with Splashcloud, then after contemplating his options, he trotted out of camp.

Ravenstar heard Splashcloud and Briarheart's purrs, and he nearly tripped head over paw. No... NO! NO! NO! That was my spot! he growled to himself. He could see Splashcloud's black and white fur, just beyond the bramble-tangled wall which led to the field Ravenstar had been visiting since he was an apprentice. Ravenstar shifted his paws frustratedly, then hissed with annoyance. Splashcloud seems to think HE found this place! The arrogant fur-ball! As if he knew every inch of the forest since the day he was kitted! You know, Splashcloud, just because you hadn't seen it before, doesn't mean NO cat has! There is the possibility that you don't know every nook and cranny in the world! I've been going here since before you were kitted! Ravenstar thought to himself, then Ravenstar hissed with frustration and padded back to camp.

Spottedstar gazed happily around the cats in the clearing, then meowed, "However. We still have one apprentice who deserves their full name more then anyone. Emberpaw. You are in training to become a medicine cat, and today is the day you become a full medicine cat of Lightningclan. Starclan honors your connection to your ancestors, and your devotion to your clan, and from this day onward, you shall be known as Emberstrike."
Spottedstar cheered Emberstrike's name, and then bounded from the Highrock, landing next to Stormpaw and Spottedkit. Spottedstar's eyes softened at the sight, Ah, young love.... she purred to herself, then she glanced at Stormkit.
"Are you ready to go hunting? I've noticed that you mastered the Hunter's crouch before you aged 4 moons!"

OOC: Can Splashcloud have heard Ravenstar's footsteps? Then maybe Splashcloud could confront Ravenstar! That might make for an interesting argument! Please have Splashcloud hear and confront Ravenstar!

OOC: Approved, but Teller of Pointed Stones is the leader of The Tribe of Rushing Water. This is the Tribe of The Setting Sun, and I, Raven that Flies at Night(Raven) am the Tribe-Healer (leader). So does Sparrow have a crush on Raven?

Spottedstar purred and led Stormpaw out of camp, "We'll hunt from here to the Mapleclan border, to be sure that Ravenstar has gone, and then we'll circle back to the camp." she said.

Spottedkit watched Stormpaw as he left the camp, and she looked at her paws, her eyes sad.

OOC: Yes! Maybe Splashcloud would hear Ravenstar's footsteps, scent his presence, and sense his anger and envy. Then maybe Splashcloud would confront Ravenstar, and the two would argue! I think it might lead to an interesting argument ;)
