Maybe, maybe not. Riley didn't seem to mind thinking about Bunny Boy when he wasn't around. Riley stared at Whyl's face as he did this, like he couldn't believe what was happening. His hands held himself to Whyl as he accepted the kiss with great interest.

"Nothing I do." There it was, Brightpaw closing up again. "But how I was born." Brightpaw said, looking at her with his mismatched eyes. "Because I was born with these."
-
"Because they are jealous, or so I think. It's because... I'm different from them, a black sheep so to say." Brightpaw spoke up. "They don't understand it."
-
A small noise escaped Riley. He relaxed a little, heat flushing to his ears as they were touched. Then He cotinued to kiss Whyl, letting his tounge try to tease the other's if Whyl would let them. Riley was fond of the kissing thing, He liked it mroe than any girl he had kissed before. But He only kissed them because that was the thing to do. Not because he wanted to.
-
"They aren't, They are just different."Brightpaw paused. "I've never seen another cat hear better than a blind one." He looked at her. "But I can see and everything, I hate them for hating me for something I can't change."
-
"I see, at least she lived." Brightpaw said, suddenly remembering his mother. She just got up and left, promising to be back with prey. Then She never returned. "Though The never knowing... is terrible." Brightpaw looked at her. "It is a same that they degrade cats for things they can't change." He sounded like he was talking about something else too.
-
"Maybe someday..." Brightpaw began to open up again. "There will be a world where different was okay and different cats were allowed to be different without having to hid it." That was what he was working for, maybe.
-
"But I can't do it. I'm just one cat." Brightpaw whispered. "No matter who hard I try, I can't do it." He was more ranting to himself now.
-
Riley had kissed a few girls, so was finally the more practiced one in this case. But he had never really liked it, but did it because that was the thing to do. He let his tounge tease Whyl's, gently slipping it around. One of his hands made it's way up to Riley's hair to tug at it.
-
Brighptaw got up and nuzzled her, trying to comfort the cat.. "It's okay.. Sh.. I understand." He was good at this stuff.
-
"You just have to try your best, but sometimes your best isn't good enough." He continued, not moving.
-
Brightpaw smiled. "Excatly. We can't give up, no matter what." A dark tom walked passed, Brightpaw's eyes catching him. BRightpaw looked like a wounded kit when their eyes met, for that cat was his father. And all he wanted was to make him proud.
-
Riley smiled slightly against Whyl's lips. he tugged at the hair a little more forcfully. He let a few noises escape his lips as his ears were touched. He was quite enjoying this also although he was physcailly ready to move one, He didn't want to ruin the moment.
-
"My father." Brightpaw replied sadly. "He's a hrash tom..." The light silver tabby explained.
-
"He doesn't care about my eyes." Brightpaw sighed. "I think It's because I look like my mom, They broke it off before I was born." Brightpaw explianed. This was feeling good, to just let go.
-
Brightpaw paused. "I don't know. Part of me just wants to make him proud." He looked away. "Another part doesn't care what he thinks and wants to do what makes me happy."
-
Brightpaw offered her a smile. He just didn't know what would make himself proud of himself. Following his heart? Or maybe to twist others around his paws?
-
They should, but Riley stole one more long kiss and one more tug of Why'ls hair before his paws went down to his suitcoat buttons, trying to unbutton them while still stealing a few kisses here and there. He decided they were going to move on now because he was done with the tension and didn't know how much time he had.
-
She probably shouldn't wish that. It would wreak havoc. He offered her another smile. "Okay."
-
((She could, with time.))
"Sure, let's go for a swim." Brightpaw would be perfectly happywith a swim right now. It'd be good for his leg too.
