Lucy pricked her ears, & turned to Alex. The chihuahua liked cats, usually. Just, not dogs. They were too big & happy all the time. "... Yes?" She asked, forgetting that the cat couldn't understand her.

Ruby looked at Sapphire in realization, & hung her head low. "I have to get more freshkill. I'll be right back." The warrior said, & sprinted off. "We have barely any warriors here! I mean, really..." She mumbled before out of earshot.

"But... it was so quick! No cat is that fast!" Wispwind argued, noticing how this had happened in nearly a single heartbeat.

"Oh, there you are. 'Ello!" Ruby said, gesturing quickly to the larger-than-before freshkill pile. "You look like you've seen a ghost. What happened?"

"Well, yeah, he didn't really say 'word for word' that it was crowfood. He just said it was half-eaten." Wispwind corrected. "Dewclaw... what's going on...?"

After much inner struggle, Ruby quietly went to Diamond's den. Peeking in, she spoke. "Well? What's wrong? And don't say 'nothing'." She said, accidentally sounding blunt.

Ruby grinned stupidly, awaiting an answer from the two superior cats. She was as clueless as someone could get.
