Mireth turned her head to study the place around her, "home? Is this what you call my home?" She snapped, and slowly rose to her paws, "I do not belong here, Death, you know I don't.. Why did you call me here?"

Milreth hissed, "I refuse. I am of demonic blood, yes, but I was blessed with a soul and I refuse to sell it to you and betray Elementa!" She knew what she was doing would get herself killed, but she didn't mind it. "You'll have to drag me closer to death if you want my soul!"
"A hero..." Lusrath whispered and slowly rose to her paws. "Alright then, tell me your plan."

Mireth roared in pain, then slid to the ground. "How... how dare you..." Her whole body ignited with flames, and she clumsily teleported away, but she couldn't get far. "I'll kill you!" Her wounds began to slowly heal, and she let off a blast of fire towards Gartos.
"I see..." Lusrath nodded his way, "go let Jeruth and her warriors know, alright? We need all the help we can get."

Milreth teleported again, angry that she couldn't keep up well against him. She lashed her tail, the jewelry around her neck, ankles, and wrists clinging as she moved. She turned her head towards Gartos, moving her paws to create another orb of fire. She flung it at him, then teleported farther away.
Jeruth turned and nodded, "then please do so quickly."

Mireth struggled with the chains, crying out and trying to break free. She felt herself being dragged down under, and roared for help. Nobody came. Using the rest of her energy, she formed back into her demonic form to stretch the chains. "Release me, damn you! Release me now! I'll kill all of you..!"
Lusrath nodded. "We have one of pure soul... Angel." She turned her head and nodded to the young dragon. "Do you think you can do it?"

Mireth felt absolutely nothing as her soul was lifted from her body. Her many eyes were held shut, as if a weight had crushed down on her and wouldn't let go. This is what it's like to die, Mireth thought, who is going to take my place?

"Lloyd," she growled, her claws digging into the dirt as she approached. "...Bring him back." She pulled her lips back into a threatening snarl. "Call her name, I dare you. Call for help, I dare you. If you don't go back to how you were, I'll kill you where you stand." She didn't truly want to kill him, but maybe she could snap him back by threatening him?

Zero turned his head, admiring the pelt on the cheetah. He then turned back to the basin. "...We're almost there," he called, "look!"

The demon roared with laughter, her many eyes blinking. "The master of this inferno? Please! Without your harbingers you're nothing. I have what is best for Hell in mind. You are bringing it to it's knees with these pure souls. You cannot create artificial corrupted souls and you know that." She rose well above Death and grinned, "you're the master of Reaping. There's a difference between here and Midrealm." She lashed her tail, her fangs glinting. Her eyes shined with red malice, "I refuse to allow you to rule and destroy this realm any longer. Stand down."
