    The tortie had just been taking a stroll by the border. She enjoyed walking. Her small white paws barely touched the ground. Ridley's walk was very graceful, as usual. She smiled. Using her blue and amber optics to stare at the beautiful sunset, she stopped in her tracks. Something was coming, and she didn't know quite what. Ridley Duchannes blinked. Then, everything went black, as if she was in a permanent slumber. The sound of ripping flesh welcomed her ears in a warm embrace. Blood splattered her ears.


    Now, almost translucent against the pale sunlight, she was little more than a spirit. Riddy needed a body. A small deer just happened to be trotting past. Here goes nothing. she told herself.


    She sped over to the deer and slammed into it. Now she was one with the deer; it was her new body. Ridley stared at her old body with small brown eyes; it was mangled and ugly. Nice. "H-hello?" she called out. Ridley felt cold all of a sudden. The sweet aroma of death clung to the air.
