Just as Carl said, as they came around the bend of a cliff a massive structure, seemingly built into the mountain itself, rose up before them. It cast it's giant shadow across them, and with wide eyes Allie would take it all in. The rogue lands she'd come from considted mostly of marshland woodland, fields and other such wilderness, any massive or impressive structures already having been claimed by surrounding groups. To be so close to something like this, it really was impressive. "You all live here- together?" she asked, not having expected something like this. Maybe these groups were closer than she thought?

Allie would watch as Carl disappeared into the tunnel that Rick had set up, her copper eyes wide with interest. She could smell the stench of rotting flesh and had caught the Grimes patriarchs words as he'd explained the setup, and Allie could help but feel that spar of admiration she had for Carl grow- just a little. When she'd been faces by the monster that was the Walker she had felt a fear she'd never known until then. The fear of the unknown.
Allie was by no means a weak girl. She was a little shorter then other female tigers her age, but her mind was sharp and she adapted fast, learner from the mistakes of others. The scars on her body hadn't been given while she was laying down quietly taking it, and one could rest assured that anyone who's claws had met her body had seen their own blood as well. But she was a logical girl just as much as she was a kind, tomboyish, stubborn youth, and when she'd been tackled off the cliff by that wolf, it's throat gaping and it's arm ripped off, she hadn't known what to do.
She would have attacked it like any other enemy, and she would have been bitten. If Carl hadn't been there. She hadn't known what to expect of him, being an Exiler and all, and she would admit that even now she was still sort of guarded around him and the others, but that was just an ingrained instinct of a rogue.
"Mr. Grimes, Sir." she'd call making her way over. Her leg had been properly tended to, the shallow wound nothing serious and hardly worth the light limp it left her with. Still, she approached him with a determination. "Can I join the others? I swear I won't let this slow me down." As she spoke she'd hold her bandaged leg up for him to observe, flexing it to prove her point. She hadn't had the chance to kill the Walker that attacked her, but if she was going to be staying here for a while it would be better to learn, right?

She could feel the heat of embarrassment flood her cheeks, and she'd quickly apologize. "Sorry. I just always had the impression that you guys were more like allies then friends. I didn't expect you all to be living under one roof like this. " she admitted. "And you all get your own rooms? That's so cool. Even the rogue families I've met had to all pile in one place so they can stay safe. I guess you guys don't really have that problem though, huh?"

Was he really implying that she could stay? She hadn't really been considering it past the initial healing- most clans wouldn't even allow a rogue to use their resources, let alone stay afterward. And on top of it all, Carl was willing to let her have her choice; her own room, or to even stay with him..
A strange feeling overcame her as she was forced to consider it. She kind of liked Carls company, and if the others were anything like him she probably wouldn't mind them much either, but..
Normally the idea of being alone was a comfort, something she could rely on. Loneliness could suck, but it didn't suck as much as betrayal or disappointment or loss did. And yet even knowing that, the idea of having a room to herself was unnerving. She kept imagining herself as a speck in a sea of chaos, and while she didn't doubt her ability to survive, maybe have a friend nearby for a bit would help ease the process?
"Well, if you really don't mind I suppose I could stay with you- just until my paws healed."
She didn't want to make any promises. She'd never felt the need to settle down in a clan before, and even entertaining the idea now left her nervous. But she liked the company she'd found, and she was curious with this newfound path, so different from the ones she'd walked before. [/justify][/fancypost] |

"Count me in!" Allie would call, padding over to joint he Exilers. She owed them for their hospitality toward her, and to be honest she could use the excersize. She was used to wandering large distances every day, so sitting around in one spot everyday over a minor injury was making her a bit stir-crazy. Taking a seat over by Rick and the others, she'd wait for the announcement to head out was given. This was the first time she'd be doing any mass fighting like this, so it was a little exciting.

"What are you going to do with those?"
Maybe it wasn't any of her business, and she wasn't afraid of being told off if that was the case, but she'd been eating a meal nearby and she couldn't help but see him tearing apart the human device. Seeing it brought up an almost sickening nostalgia that she desperately tried to place, but as an amnesiac with memories from only the last few months she couldn't cut through the fog to put any real distinction on them.
Licking the blood from her paws, she'd keep her copper eyes on the other in case they decided to answer her. She couldn't help but feel curious with this strange feeling floating around in her.

With a nod Allie would get to her paws and follow after Rick. Carl seemed to have a great amount of trust and confidence in his father, and as someone who Allie saw to have fairly sound judgement, she was inclined to believe Carls assumption about the older male. Falling into step behind the larger tiger, Allie would brace herself for her first fight among the Exiles.

Open to another apprentice or warrior of her size. Closed to maim, death, or capture. This is her first raid
Her heart was pounding in her chest, beating with a dangerous mixture excitement and thrill. She'd been in fights before- a lot- and she wasn't afraid of hurting someone else to defend herself. On such a mass scale though? All around her the yowls, snarls, and yelps of battle rang out. The stench of blood was overwhelming, and the sheer movement of so many bodies in one place reminded her of the twisting currents of the mighty rapids. The young tigress would flex her claws, eager and ready, the shallow cut on her bandaged leg not enough to slow her down. Alert, she would begin to search for an opponent.

As she'd promised she would, Allie had remained in the Exiles while the wound on her leg healed. The bandage that had been covering the stitched shut wound was now able to be removed, and while the white tigress had a fresh scar there she was more then happy to be rid of the white wrap. Claws would flex eagerly as she trashed the bandage and tested her weight on the limb. Seemed good.
She'd thought about leaving as soon as the bandage was off, of returning to her life of solitude right away but somehow she couldn't. Carl and his group had been so good to her, and for some reason leaving like that just didn't seem right. She had to repay them somehow, and with so little in terms of possessions of worth, all she really had to offer them was her time and effort.
"Hey, anyone want to patrol?" she'd call, padding toward the fortresses edge. She'd come to get an idea of the terrain after being there, and now that she was aware of the walkers she was far more prepared for what was out there.

Her ears would momentarily pin against her head to block out the loud noise, and for a moment she would hesitate. The dragon itself didn't scare her- not many creatures just unnerved her like that- but she was distinctly aware of what that dragon was capable of if it wasn't there on friendly terms. Still, spotting an Exiler heading toward it the tigress would follow after, ready to do her part in whatever the encounter led to. In silence she'd come up beside privatekit, a neutral expression on her features as her gaze landed on the mythial creature before them with minor curiosity and caution.

Movies.. Watching them all crowd around like this with the screen before them, it left her with an almost sorrowful pang of nostalgia that she couldn't place. She hesitated for a moment, letting her gaze scan the crowd as she worried her lip. Her leg was healed up nicely now, but she'd stayed to pay back the clan for their generosity. Was she entitled to join in with their fun and games as well? Spotting Rick and Carl she was tempted. She liked both of them, was tempted to spend more time with them, but.. The solitude shed chosen kept calling to her, warning her this little game she was playing was reckless.
When had sahe ever not been reckless, though?
A small smirk would pull the corner of her lips up at that thought, and it was decided. If she wasn't wanted they could chase her out, otherwise they could deal. Making her way over she plopped down next to Carl with a grin, also calling out "Wall E."

The entire event had been... New.. To say the least. Allie ponly had a few months worth of memories on her side, most of which had been spent alone in the rpogue lands, avoiding the drama and danger that came with group living. It was fairly obvious to say shed never seen anything quite like that before. In fact, her experiences with powered in general werew quite low, most of the foes shed fought being ones of tooth and claw rather then supernatural powers.
"Agreed." shed say, catching Ululares words.
Taking a closer look at the creature, who was now undoubtedly a giant spider, she realized that this must be the sender Carl had intended her to see when she had come to the clan injured by the walker. Another or something along those lines, right? Shed remain silent as Rick called out to see if the other was alright, but she couldn't help but feel as if it were impossible to be okay after something like that.

As was usual, Allie would come straggling up from the rear, watching the proceedings with a mixture of curiosity and caution. She still wasn't totally won over with the idea of settling in with a clan and surrounding herself with strangers, but she had found people here she enjoyed being around, enough so that she had stayed far longer than she'd meant too.
She watched as the 'Michonne' person rejected Carls claim to know her, and he wondered just how much about her new friend she didn't know. Despite how enjoyable their limited time together had been, Carl and Allie were still very much strangers to one another.
Padding forward to join the Exilers the blue and white tigress would nod a greeting to the walker tting panther eying her tag-alongs with mild distaste before offering a greeting. "Hey. I'm Allie."

A ru!bling huff of approval would come from Ally as she hear Ricks call to arms. Shed been hanging around a bit longer then she'd expected to, but she couldnt help but feel as if she owed these people some of the time and effort they'd put into her. "Count me in, Rick." she'd call as she made her way over. The bandage was gone from her leg as was the limp no longer present in her stride, and the sleek, powerful little tigress would take a seat among the Exilers as she waited for more to gather.

A strange feeling would churn in Alisons stomach as her gaze settled on the pair, rounded ears catch ing their exchange. It wasn't a good feeling, but it was nothing she knew how to place. Sadness, maybe? It would be the closest thing to accurate she could get. But why? Carl was her friend, and while she didn't know the other girl she could safely say that she wanted her roommate to be happy, right?
Why then, was the half eaten rabbit at her paws no longer appetizing?
Shaking it off she would get to her feet and head over toward Rick, leaving the scraps of the food behind as she let a small grin fall into place. "Guess Carl's gfonna have his hands full for a while, huh?" she would say good natuedly as she took a seat near the larger tiger, hoping he didn't mind her random presence. Aside from Carl, Rick was really the only other person she had cared to talk to and remember. If Carl was going to be bhusy with Phantom, then maybe she could make herself useful to Rick- he was an hp in charge of things, right? And she was only sticking around so she could repay them for healing her, so it made sense to stick near the authority figures in charge of handing things out. Besides.. What else was she going to do now?

It was a good thing the weather was getting better, otherwise it would have been a real pain to drag the large bull Deer she had caught back. Though sleek and healthy, with a vibrant bluenand white coat, Ally had always been a bit on the shorter side, meaning dragging items of prey larger than herself could be tricky.
When she arrived back in camp, finally crossing onto the hounds of the fortress courtyard where she could add her catch to the pile, she had worked up a light sweat.
"I need to work out more." she'd chide herself with a grin as she stretched out and stepped away from the fresh kill pile, heading toward a small stream at the edge of camp where she could sit down and get a drink. She had been working hard to try distract herself from that ever-growing feeling of unhappiness, and while it was masked expertly beneath a bright gaze and a friend grin Ally herself was still acutely aware of it.

Alison had arrived on The Exiles border in a very similar manner to Maggie, only instead of intentionally approaching to join only to be met with a horde Ally had been exploring as a loner when one had rtackled her off the cliff side into a valley, where she was rescued by Carl.
Carl..
She would shake her head to chase those thoughts away. she had too much to do to bother with the complicated feelings churning within just then. Instead she would hasten her pace toward the border, seeing someone in need
"Hello, stranger!" she would call with a grin as she kept into the fray, dodging a walker wolf on her left before cuffing a hyena clear off his feet. "Probably not the welcome you were hoping for, huh?"

Walkers weren't something Ally had an extensive history with. Rick had spent enough time teaching the clan the basics that she'd caught on enough to defend herself, but by no means did the pretty undersized tigress consider herself an authority on them. Beyond 'dont get bit' and 'destroy the brain' there wasn't much she could reveal about the odd undead creatures baring down on them, but that was okay. Ally had always been optimistic, the type to adapt rather then complain, so she took these two key points and made them work well enough. A flash of claws wouldtear apart the soft skull of a lunging fox, and a swift kick to the chin would send a babbook reeling backwards.
"My name's Alison. Alison J Keegans. Most just call me Ally, though." she'd reply as she knocked a domestic in a nearby tree impaling it on a jagged branch that had been broken by some other Exiler at some point. "Nice to meet you- even under these circumstances. I take it your here to join?"
