[font=Arial Narrow]Oh! A herb training! Padding towards Boulderstar, the pup then sat a few feet away from the medicine cat. Yes, he hadn't been to one of these for awhile. Coralreef taught him a few things when he participated with Jollyrodger... But that seemed long ago.
Hennessy watched with interest, wondering who else would show up. Hopefully, there would be many 'kits and 'paws coming.

[font=Arial Narrow]Hey! A couple of newbies already. "Hey Lumn, Foxtrot," the other deputy barked, his eyes gleaming slightly as he looked at the apprentice and kit. Even when he was outside of the camp, he could hear his sister's voice call, projecting into his eardrums. He almost longed to be a Stealth-walker again, but this wasn't the case, seeing that he knew he would have to keep up his activity here.
-
[font=Arial Narrow]"Of course, Foxtrot," Hennessy replied with a smile, moving aside. He would have to think about some things, like where they would get the items for the activity. It was easier said than done of course. Feathers were not the easiest thing to fetch, especially nice long ones; unless you had skills to catch a few birds.
-
[Font=Arial Narrow]Glancing at Violinpaw with a small smile, the deputy couldn't tell if she was right or not. Nevertheless... He would understand a simple mistake. Sniffing as the pollen twitched his nose, the pup then placed a paw on his black coal nose, hoping that perhaps the itching would stop. He was huge now, otherwise meaning that his sneeze would be a danger zone.

Oh!~ Will you be making the thread, Scribby?

[font=Arial Narrow]"Thank Starclan," the pup muttered, trotting towards the border in a sprint. The pup felt some weigh come off of his shoulders as he saw Donatello, the capuchin monkey. "Hey, Donatello," he barked with a smile. Then as he turned to the former Windclanner, he blinked a couple of times, then added,"Who's this?"
-
[Font=Arial Narrow]The cream furred pup nodded, assuming that this feline wanted to join. "Alright, Chokingpaw. What do you have to offer to Rushingclan, as in skills?" Wrapping his long, distinct bushy tail around his paws, the pup continued to watch the she-cat with intent eyes.
-
[font=Arial Narrow]Though he knew it was just about time to get into another battle. It was true that they were not well known, though that didn't mean that they could start later. Hennessy wasn't too keen on lighting their territory on fire though; it was a dangerous substance. Nevertheless, he would do so. Some of his clan mates on te other hand seemed quite excited for this battle.
As he grabbed a stubby silver-barked stick, the pup adjusted the long piece of wood in his mouth, then watched the flickering flames on the other side. It was vivid yellow and orange, as if the fire itself was glaring at him with serpentine-like eyes. -
[font=Arial Narrow]Hennessy nodded, his brown optics slightly narrowed as he went into thought. She was very clever, and it appeared that she did not have the exact ways of a warrior in Windclan. He never met a Windclanner before, but from what he heard, they were fast and lithe. She did seem quite loyal and plus the way of a warrior and the way of the medicine cat were two different skills, very important to have.
With a nod, the pup barked,"Do you pledge your loyalty to your clanmates and to obey Boulderstar?" It wasn't that he questioned her loyalty, but this was the last part of the contract; you couldn't really back out once you placed your name on the black line. -
[Font=Arial Narrow]Hennessy padded over, his eyes widening slightly at the sight of anther canine. The pup named Hennessy was now about fourteen inches at the shoulder, due to his growth spurt. So naturally, he was towering over any of the cats. "I'm afraid I do not know where your siblings are," he murmured quietly, watching the wolf with interested brown eyes. "But who are you exactly?" The pup was not quite lean to growling at this newcomer, especially because she was hurt (and plus he had a soft side for canines like him).
Looking over the wolf's wounds, the deputy's ears then flicked. Perhaps this would either be the right time to fetch Morphingtattoos or help the other canine himself. -
[font=Arial Narrow]Hennessy padded towards Foxtrot and the rather amusing kit, then sat next to them, his body frame larger than most dogs'. He had grown for the past moon, so it appeared that he was almost half wolf, the the looks of his intimidating size. Why was this feline here? It was a foreign scent that oozed off of the cat; it was too strong for his liking. Since the other deputy Foxtrot, and of course Chespinkit did the interrogating, he would wait patiently for the stranger's answer.
-
[font=Arial Narrow]"Welcome to Rushingclan, Chokingpaw," the deputy barked, nodding with a small smile. It had been quite some moons since a cat joined; around the time when he came to Rushingclan, which was around two moons ago. Luckily, they had been lucky that everything started to shift for the past week or so.
-
[font=Arial Narrow]The pup nodded, but replied,"As the Rushingclan deputies, Foxtrot and I can take a message for Boulderstar. But I believe that he'll be here soon." With a quirked invisible eyebrow, the cream furred dog stared at the she-cat for a moment, then looked away.
-
[font=Arial Narrow]Running towards the camp, Hennessy, the oversized pup, threw his stick of fire, ever so relieved that he wasn't scorched by the fire. The pup quickly tossed his head over his shoulder, looking for Boulderstar and was relieved to find that the gray maine coon wasn't too far away.
With his long stride, the pup quickly leaped to one side to avoid getting burned by a few specks of burning hot ash. -
[font=Arial Narrow]"Hello," Hennessy barked, smiling at everyone who was present; Lumn, Chokingpaw, and Orcarina Darling. With a dip of his head, the pup then smiled; was Orcarina feeling alright? He knew that he was indeed the true child of Coldnight. It wasn't as if Hennessy was envious though. He accepted it, though he never knew about his sister until a moon ago.
Hennessy was never the aggressive type, unless if it was for show. His loyalties were here in Rushingclan, though he had soft spots for kittens and canines just the same. He was not a vengeance or justice type of dog, but he was a more benevolent deputy. In fact, the pup still couldn't really figure out why Boulderstar chose him to be one of his successors. Besides being active and all, he didn't deserve all the good stuff. -
[font=Arial Narrow]"Hello," Hennessy barked, settling himself besides the young she-cat and looking into the distance, where he knew that distant lands were. He never really liked travelling too far from home, nor did he like sitting down and doing nothing; it made him feel useless.
Glancing at the smaller she-cat, the pup sighed softly, wondering what was going on in her head. Of course, it was private thoughts probably, nothing for him to pry into. -
[font=Arial Narrow]The large pup spotted the kitten with the seared tail, then ran towards her even though there was a tuxedo not too far away from her. This is not her battle, he thought, knowing that a kitten didn't deserve to die, even if it was an enemy clan's. He had a parallel mind to Towers, but his loyalty restrained him. With his paws skimming the ground, the pup then grabbed the kitten by her scruff, then placed her into a bush isolated from the fire. "This is not your fight; go, now!"
Almost immediately, the deputy returned to battle, not bothering to look back at the bushes. -
[font=Arial Narrow]"It does," the deputy answered, nodding briefly. "It is not common that a feline or canine would choose to change their name," he added. He had been thinking about changing his name for a bit, perhaps to a name like Lionheart or something. But then, he would feel as if he had lost his identity. If only...
-
[font=Arial Narrow]Hennessy growled, wincing as he felt a sharp pain on his heels. As he turned, the dog began to shake his legs violently, a rare flicker of fire within his brown eyes. Hopefully this white maine coon would fall off, but even if he didn't the pup still had a few tricks up his sleeves.
Glancing at Donatello, the deputy's eyes widened slightly. No. He growled warningly. Though he didn't have claws or any weapons, he had his will and his strong iron-like teeth.
