    The rules are short, please do read them! Once the roleplay starts Fawnstar wont be a leader for to long so it will be fair that I don't have all the high spots ^^

    My Characters [/font][/color]

    [color=black]Name: Fawnstar (Fawn for her spots, Flight for her speed)
    Age: 4.5 seasons (years)
    Gender: Female
    Clan: Windclan
    Rank: Leader
    Apprentice: Adderpaw (third apprentice)
    Breed: None, moggy
    Current Apprentice: Adderpaw

    Nine Lives: Youth, patience, tireless determination, humor, adventure, love, desire, forgiveness, sight

    Personality: [Bright] [Prudent] [Excitable] [Confident] [Overly Fastidious] [Candid][Sociable/Casual] [Awkward] [Angst-Ridden]

    'Did you know rabbits can live up to 420 moons!' l [Bright] Fawnstar has always been a knowledgeable cat. She takes her time learning everything she can, even though it doesn't really apply to her. Her motto is 'you never know when that smart stuff in going to come in handy!'. She's just naturally picks things up, every little thing, and rarely forgets a shred of knowledge, no matter how useless.

    'Why are you late? Don't you know I have a schedule to stick to? *frown*' l [Prudent] Fawnstar is anything but rash, she always weighs her option carefully, and perhaps spends too much time creating plans and schedules for her clan to follow. If a patrol is not back by their assigned time, she will get in a fit, and trust me when I say you do not want to be the one cat who deviates from her plan! Fawnstar often looks into the future, which helps her make decisions when she thinks about how it could impact her later on in life.

    'No way! Can you show me, please, please, please?' l [Excitable] She often gets stirred up by both good and bad things. It's easy to get her enthusiastic about something, and it takes such little effort to make her laugh. But she also gets worked up over the small stuff, don't screw up or she'll get in a rut.

    'I know what I'm doing, there's no need to check on me.' l [Confident] After so much tedious planning, Fawnstar is always confident in her decisions. Any cat would be, especially after spending all night weighing the outcomes. She's also confident in herself, and doesn't pay much mind to her appearance, yet knows she is pretty and powerful all at once.

    'That darned stick is too crooked, get it out of my sight.' l [Overly Fastidious] It's a wonder how Fawnstar's eyes aren't sore from scoping out every nook and cranny for flaws. It can be quite annoying and many cats hate waking up to find Fawnstar shouting orders to organize the camp in the wee hours of the morning.

    'You should stop whining. You failed, just accept it.' l [Candid] Fawnstar is not afraid to say exactly what she's thinking, she never holds back. This can be beneficial sometimes to the cat who needs a reality check, but for others is can be a painful blow. Fawnstar fails to see why she should keep things to herself. Honestly is an important value to her, but she still has yet to learn the difference between honestly and bluntness.

    'Hey, what's up? Wanna go huntin'?' l [Sociable/Casual] Fawstar loves sharing tongues, and mingling with her fellow clanmates. She does not believe that ranks should separate any cats. She always speaks lightly, and hardly ever uses formal words unless addressing her leader or fellow warriors about a serious issue.

    'Err... uh, so... should I kiss you back... or something?' l [Awkward] It doesn't take much to make Fawnstar blush. Especially anything romantic, or anything to do with relationships and toms. She has no real interest in a love life, but sometimes she gets overwhelmed by her locked away feelings of love and passion.

    :new: 'Oh no, no, no, no! This can't be happening!' l [Angst-Ridden] She does it to herself. All that worrying and fretting over the small stuff was bound to come back and bite her in the behind.Because of this she suffers from anxiety attack. If Fawnstar ever just sits there silently or looks like she's in pain, or even just falls out of conversation, she's probably suffering from an anxiety attack.

    [Kithood] Fawnflight's father, Hawkpool, was a lithe, young warrior of Windclan when he met her mother, Brightpath. At that time though, she was a rogue who went by the name of Ray. He bumped into her at a border and instantly fell in love with the tawny she-cat. He came back every day to the same spot to meet her, and it wasn't long before she became pregnant. Unfortunately, without the aid of a medicine cat, and since Ray was so young to be bearing kits, she grew very weak and sick. Hawkpool became very worried and wasn't sure what to do. For a long time he tried to sneak her herbs from the medicine cat's den, but he never knew what would cure her. Hawkpool tried to convince his dying mate to move into Windclan, but she refused, for clan life was not for her, or so she said. Eventually, telling her that the kit's life depended on it, he finally persuaded her to join the clan. Windclan reluctantly accepted Ray, and with the help of herbs and proper medicine, she gave birth to four healthy kits and took on the name Brightpath. The first kit to open her eyes of the bunch was young Fawnkit. Brightpath had originally named her Doe, seeing as she was not accustomed to clan names quite yet. It took a while for Hawkpool to convince Brightpath once again that she had to live by clan rules now, and after about a week, her kit's name was changed from Doe to Fawnkit. Ever since the first time Fawnkit had opened her bright pink-yellow eyes, she had used them to scan the nursery and pick out all the imperfections: a stray tuft of fur, a broken twig, a messy nest. She would spends hours cleaning, organizing and rearranging the nursery until it was just so. Some queens found it rather annoying, but soon they began to realize that little Fawnkit showed promise. Not many kits had such attention to detail and ability to organize. Not only that, but Fawnkit was able to sort out misunderstandings and rivalries between the other kits. Most of them hated her, since she preferred to stop fights rather than take part in them. "Mother, your coat looks horrible," she would tell Brightpath bluntly at times when her mother's pelt looked like a mess. It wasn't because she wanted to be cruel, she just couldn't help but point out flaws so that they could be fixed. She was very direct and refused to hide how she felt.

    [Apprenticeship] It was only when Fawnkit became an apprentice did she realize she wanted to aim high. When her leader at the time called her up to give her her apprentice name, Fawnpaw, the sleek brown she-cat discovered she wanted to be the one giving out names one day. Her assigned mentor was named Bramblefeather, and the two quickly became the best of friends. From then on she watched how her leader acted, how she moved, how she presented herself, how she commanded her clan with such confidence. She began to mould herself. She progressed incredibly well, much faster than all the other apprentices, this was all thanks to her drive to become leader. When her mentor, Bramblefeather, told her it was time to move on as a warrior early, she declined, for she didn't want to leave her fellow apprentices behind, and at that moment, she learned the value of honor and equality. She continued to work hard, although she didn't really need to, until one day, a patrol from the west border returned, bringing bad news with them. She raced across the camp, excited to see meet her father, seeing as he had been on that particular patrol, but she quickly became confused. How come he was being held by the scruff by another cat? Suddenly realization his her like a painful blow to the belly. "Hawkpool!" she screeched as her little paws flew her across the camp. She buried her nose in her father's fur, and cried harshly into his tan coat. She drew back and smiled in joy when she noticed it was still moving. The rest of her family quickly saw what had happened as well, and raced over to join Fawnpaw. Hawkpool had been attacked by a fox, according to the patrol. This was also evident in the horrid gashes and rips across his flank. He was moved to the medicine cat den, where he never woke, he just slept and slept for weeks after he had been tended to. For the first few days his whole family stayed by his side, but soon they gave up hope, all except for Fawnpaw, who was left alone with his dying body, watching the rise and fall of his chest, hardly blinking. “I don’t….I-I don’t think he’s going to m-make it.” said her sister, Patchedpaw. Fawnpaw only tensed as a tear slid slowly down her cheek. One day, as Fawnpaw lay by his side, ear on his chest listening to his heartbeat, it simply stopped. "Hey what are you doing?" she said, her eyes clouding with tears as she batted at him, hoping it was jump-start his heart. "No, come on, please, you can do it daddy!" she cried uncontrollably now. It took three warriors to peel her away from the body. She fought like she had never fought before, clawing at her clanmates. "No! Starclan, stop this, bring him back!" she shouted into the purple, star-speckled sky.

    [Warrior] Becoming a warrior completely washed away the depression that had lingered beside Fawnpaw since her father died. Although part of her heart would always remain hollow. After Hawkpool's passing, her mother didn't have much time for her kits anymore. She became rugged and harsh towards everyone, although she had never really been kind to anyone but her family in the first place. One day she just disappeared, without a trace. The clan spent weeks searching for her, but found nothing. Fawnpaw couldn't allow herself to feel bad anymore, her mother was never really suited for clan life, she was probably better off alone. She was confident in her mother's ability to survive on her own and stay out of trouble. The months passed, ans her clan watched Fawnflight grow as a warrior. She stayed true to the warrior code, but she learned that sometimes, there were times when its rules didn't apply. It wasn't long before she was given her first apprentice, Reedpaw, who she trained well and watched her become the Reedbrook she was today. She watched in envy as Pondlily, a slightly arrogant she-cat that Fawnflight didn't have much taste for, was chosen as the next deputy. She understood though, that Pondlilly was an intelligent, well balanced cat, but Fawnflight couldn't stop her jealousy from simmering up. Only half a season later, their current leader passed, and Pondlilly was made a full leader. When she returned from receiving her nine lives, before the moon rose in the sky, Pondstar, called a clan meeting, summoning the Windclan warriors to gather before her. Fawnflight was taken completely aback when she was chosen as deputy, but bowed respectfully and thanked her leader, who she now had new respect for.

    [Deputy] It was hard at first. The young cat had to face many ordeals she wasn't prepared for, but over time she began to understand how to run a clan, and felt confident in her ability to do so. Upon the evening of her Deputy ceremony, Fawnflight was also given her next apprentice, Flickerpaw. He was a polite young cat, very eager to learn, and Fawnflight would gladly teach him. Their relationship was strong, and they spent almost every waking moment together. He could so easily distract her from the pain of losing half her family with his kind words and gentle eyes. Sometimes, Fawnflight felt as if he was training her to get over her pain, instead of she training him. One night, Fawnflight took him on a night hunt, to teach him how to search for animals in rock crevices by looking for the glow of their eyes. "You're doing great Flickerpaw!" she called out, but her voice bounced off each rock, causing a few pebbles to dislodge. She didn't pay any mind to it, but only a few heartbeats after the displacement of the pebbles, the whole structure came toppling down upon her apprentice of only eight moons. She returned to camp without having shed a single tear. She wasn't even sure what had happened, she was still dazed. When Pondstar asked her why she had returned alone she said "I killed him." Immediately, she was put under heavy guard while other warriors went out to search for him. They brought back his crushed figure, and Pondstar quickly realized Fawnflight hadn't killed him directly. Fawnflight was left alone for three whole days while all she did was sob. She was emotionally compromised to the point that her friend, Lavenderbreeze, took her deputy position until she returned to her duties after three long sunrises. She recovered, but she still felt burdened with what she thought she had done. It was much easy afterwards. She was given yet another apprentice, Adderpaw, which surprised her because she didn't think any cat would trust her with another apprentice. "You did amazing with me," Reedbrook mewed "So I asked Pondstar to give you another. He will help you heal." Fawnflight eventually realized how much she owed to her former student... her friend.

    Personality

    { Calm | Independent | Clever | Analytical | Unimaginitive | Insensitive }

    + Calm "There is no need to panic. We will work it out"

    > When the situations get bad, Salmonmask is someone you can trust to stay ice cold and calm. This makes him a great patrol leader and strategist, and trustworthy to take care of others. He has never been seen losing her temper or composure, not even when under extreme stress. His calmness makes him appear quite cold and gives other cats a sense of her thinking that she's much better than anyone else. This is not the case though. After spending years alone his social ways have altered greatly, and he can't express himself like she would want to.

    + Independent "I think I can do this on my own, thank you very much."

    > Personality trait originating from her years as a loner. She is used to surviving on herself, not in big groups. Settling to the clan made this trait fade lightly, but it is still visible, whenever Salmonmask gets wounded. She never needs help with anything, and refuses all kind of aid. She's probably not the most pleasant guest in the Medicine Cat's den, if anyone gets her there. This also makes it very hard for anyone to approach her.

    + Clever "Hah, that's easy. I can't even think about you not realizing this!"

    > Salmonmask is extremely clever. She can make battle plans, strategies, figure out problems, find out things that other cats miss. This trait also makes her extremely observant and adjustable to her environment. This explains how she managed to survive years alone without proper knowledge in hunting, and how she still manages at the Marshlands. Only the most clever find ways to survive there, Salmonmask fills that area better than well. Her battle or hunting skills aren't great, but her tactical skills and strategies are great. She uses this to make up on her loss of other abilities.

    + Analytical "If we put this here, it'll help us greatly in future. Trust me"

    > The trait goes well with her cleverness. This is an ability to visualize, articulate, and solve both complex and uncomplicated problems and concepts and make decisions that are sensical based on available information. Salmonmask's skills include demonstration of the ability to apply logical thinking to gathering and analyzing information, and the want to test out her theories. Her strong belief on everything having a meaning is attached to this.

    - Unimaginative "... What are you blabbering about, all that beautiful world stuff? If I haven't seen it, it's not a big deal, is it?"

    > Salmonmask has lost her ability to imagine things. All she can do is think things through strategical sides, but she doesn't feel like she has the time or worth to really imagine about far away lands, or Starclan's blessings. Some question her belief in Starclan because of this, but Salmonmask's loyalty for her clan's ways has pushed her through her doubt and she has to believe in things she cannot see. Starclan is the only thing she believes in though.

    - Insensitive "If you think I care about your feelings about this, you are unfortunately mistaken, my darling"

    > Again, being a former loner, this has effected her personality greatly. She has a little sense of morality, and sensitivity. This makes it easy for her to make hard decisions, and give out her actual opinions. She feels little connection to any of her clanmates, which makes her come off as cold and collected. Insensitivity is her worst trait by far

    History

    { Kittypet }

    : Before Birth ::

    > Višnâ was planned to be born within two purebred Siberians, to a Russian breeder. Her parent's were the highest Champions of the breed, so her and her littermates were expected to be just as gorgeous as their parents and family line were. The breeder planned to keep one kitten, and sell the others with high prices. He would've of course kept the most gorgeous one. The pregnancy of her mother was going well, all of the time. Her father belonged to another breeder, this meant that she was never to see him.

    : Kitten ::

    > Višnâ was born at the start of spring, alongside her 5 littermates. The five of them were beautiful, beautiful and soft pelts, right size... Višnâ was also very goodlooking, her markings were gorgeous, her size just right. But her tail was short, very short. Just a stump. The breeder was surprised by the fact, wondering where such genetic thing could've arrived from. But he knew that he couldn't use the female kitten for anything without her tail, so he decided to keep her just as a pet. Her attitude was highly pleasant to him afterall. Her family was loving and warm to her, she loved playing with her sisters and brothers, and her mother was loving.
    Eventually the kittens grew older, and the breeder sold off four of the kittens, leaving Višnâ and Tajga to himself. Tajga, the oldest she-cat from the litter, was Champion material to the breeder. Her coat was pure white, she was even bigger than Višnâ. Needless to say, their mother was proud of them all. Višnâ didn't understand why her other siblings weren't around anymore though, and Tajga and her searched from them up and over the house multiple times during the weeks of peaceful life at home.

    : Maturity ::

    > Višnâ and Tajga grew up to maturity quite quickly after all of this. Tajga soon became too busy to play with Višnâ, as she was being trained for the contests. Višnâ spent most of her time with her mother, Kremovyj. As she reached maturity, the breeder became to notice how aggressive and hostile Kremovyj had became towards Višnâ. He bet it was because of the other litter Kremovyj was going to have, and now that Višnâ was mature enough to breed, she was a threat to her. The breeder decided to sell Višnâ, and she was sold to a quet and peaceful farm. The she-cat loved living there, at the big area. She learned to hunt somewhat, and patrolled her territory every day. She still couldn't understand where all of her family had gone, or why her mother had been so angry at her all of the time. She would sit on the fence of the farm, waiting for the breeder to come and pick her up to bring her home. She really missed being around other cats, and the dogs and cows at the farm weren't good company for the Siberian.
    As few winters passed Višnâ, she decided to go and see what was beyond the forest close to the farm. After telling everyone her goodbyes, and leaving a parting gift (a dead rat) onto her twoleg's porch, she set off towards the forest.

    { Loner }

    : Adulthood ::

    > Višnâ travelled for a long time, through the forest, through plains, through a watery area. Not once did she meet another cat, even though she tried to track the weird scents she sometimes found. Her hunting skills weren't top class either, and she soon found herself losing weight, and mostly living on small voles and mice she happened to find. Life at the farm had been so peaceful, and she had plenty of mice there, and a bowl of milk whenever she needed it. But her intelligence eventually saved her from certain starvation.
    Višnâ had found a hole, filled with a weird scent. It was a nest of foxes. They hunted a lot more than what they ate, and Višnâ stole the things they left behind. It wasn't much, but it was much more than what Višnâ was able to hunt herself. She made herself a nest closeby the fox hole, in a tree, knowing that they couldn't climb and thus staying safe.
    But when winter came around, the foxes left the forest. Višnâ was left alone again. And the cold weathers scarred all of the little prey away even more. She was in big trouble, so the Siberian set herself moving again. Going days without food wasn't unusual, but due her big size the pale she-cat survived. Her pelt kept her warm, her intelligence kept her somewhat fed. And the spring came and finally forgived Višnâ, giving her a lot of prey and warmth to bask in. But Višnâ felt alone. She hadn't seen any other cats in far too long time. So she focused her task onto finding cats, and befriend them.
    She travelled, again, and reached the harsh marshlands. She had felt the scent of cats for a long time, and finally she had the courage to follow it. This is where she found Shadowclan, slowly but steadily growing... Višnâ was indimitated by it all, and she begged Shadowstar to let her join the clan. Soon she found her loyality completely resting on that little group of cats, all of her trust in Shadowstar and Starclan.

    { Clanmate }

    : Warrior ::

    > After joining the clan, Višnâ was renamed Salmonmask, for her pale markings and swift movement in water, and nataural beauty. She now strives to serve her clan the best she can, with her strategies.

    Roleplay Sample: 'From a forum Miscreant Marauders'

    Bree appearing into the Cafeteria had made Joshua more than nervous. He was always nervous around someone with such authority, not just his Commander. The German tensed up even more when his Commander seemed to head straight at the cake.
    Considering his options, Joshua quickly decided that he’d probably survive the day with his sweet stash, and he was a gentleman. It was extremely rude to leave a lady without food, if you were going to eat something yourself.Besides that, Bree looked like she had been working hard, and she deserved something to eat more than he did, obviously.

    Joshua was completely dumbfounded by Bree’s next actions thought. She was… stepping off? Giving him the cake. His eye wide with the realisation of how much power he must have if the /Commander/ herself was stepping off because of him. The fact gave him a weird, light feeling and he forced himself to shake his head and accept it.
    He could share though. And he definitely would. Who knew when the Commander would repay him for… Sharing a cake with her at lunch. That sounded more idiotic than it was in his mind. The German was glad that he didn’t say it out loud.

    When he finally got off from his thought, he had noticed that Bree had moved to another target, the steak. He blinked, looking at the piece of cake, and back. Shrugging, he walked to it, and took it. Well, he probably wouldn’t dare to go to the Commander and ask if she wanted to share.
    His thoughts soon switched to the Commander and that male mercenary with her. The whole Cafeteria was quiet for a while, until the male spoke.

    "…. Though I acknowledge that I am fresh and probably quite tempting, I'm afraid that I am not on the menu today."

    Josh quirked his eyebrows. That was either a bad joke or a worse pick up line. Slightly shifting on his feet, to see what had happened, his eye wide yet again.

    “Is that… Is that a fork?”
    He muttered, mostly to himself, staring at Nick’s hand and the fork still in it. Ow. That must’ve hurt a lot. Joshua almost whimpered, not knowing how he –as a medic- was supposed to react to something like this. He decided that it was better to be quiet and get out of sight while he still could do so. The mercenary would realise that he’d need medical attention by himself, Josh wouldn’t dare to think that he’d be stupid enough not to.

    So he turned on his heels, stared forward, and started walking, trying to erase the whole scene from his mind.

    Name: Quailkit Quailpaw Quailfur
    Age: 47 moons / 3 years and 11 months
    Gender: Female
    Breed: Aegean Cat x Japanese Bobtail x DSH
    Clan: RiverClan
    Rank: Deputy

    Personality:
    Weak-Willed | Remorseless | Ardent | Strongly Opinionated

    Weak-Willed:
    Quailfur isn't always the cat to count on when you are trying to win the side in an argument. She's easily swayed by the words of others on many different topics. Seeing as this is she prefers not to be caught in the midst of disagreeing cats who want her to be the neutral party for she would not be so neutral eventually. Quailfur knows how the words of her clanmates affects her so she makes it a priority to mentally block herself when confronted by cats from the other clans.

    Remorseless:
    Her years of experience of a warrior have hardened her outlook on how she is to go about in battles. She relentlessly fights for her clan until she cannot endure no more. Quailfur has a bad habit of twisting chases/challenges into more serious affairs; thinking that the outcome would actually be rather important.

    Ardent:
    "Don't you dare mess with my clan, my family." Quailfur, although not a mother, has a strong devotion to the protection of her clanmates. She refers to them as just not her friends, but her family and how she would gladly follow them and fight with them at any time. With this devotion comes her views on the warrior code. She holds them close and needs a strong, relevant reason to ever let them slip up.

    Strongly Opinionated:
    Like it is hinted, Quailfur is quite the opinionated she-cat. Well, she likes to think so anyway. She has it locked in mentally that if she spouts opinions rather severely then she will not be so easy to persuade in any argument that she has absolutely no interest in. In addition, she is one to comment on the discussion of the warrior code or any part of clan life that has to do with RiverClan in high regard while on the flipside she belittles the other clans' status.

    Brief Backstory:
    Kit-Hood | Apprenticeship | I'm a warrior! | We All Taste Defeat

    Kit-Hood:

    "It's another she-cat!" Chimed a smooth voice from the darkness. The kit could feel this stranger nipping at her midsection with a rather clean and quick snip of her teeth. Although a newborn she could sense the presence of others in this space, but one in particular made her heart ache. Her mother. The cat that was a permanent memory somewhere incomprehensible in the kit's mind.
    ~
    The medicine cat smiled at the kit's attempt to squirm to her mother. He had already helped birth Troutkit, Graykit, and Black-kit; he was only feeling a fraction of the fatigue that the mother was. His green eyes flickered up to the exhausted she-cat as his paw guided the kit on its path to Mudtail. "I know you're tired, but have you thought of a name?"
    The queen considered the kit that had finally found her stomach and she gave the lightest of nods. "Quailkit.."

    Apprenticeship:

    "Quailpaw!" The very sound of the she-cat's mentor bellowing her name made the apprentice lay low to the ground. Quailpaw's actions were in vain for Ottertail had found her. The gray mottled tom stood in front of her with a stern look never leaving his eyes. "Were you responsible for this?" His tail pointed to the ruined den that was known as the apprentice den.
    ~
    Quailpaw's apprentice life was like this every now and then. She would act a little too wily and give in to the antics that the other apprentices would edge her on to do. Now these troublesome affairs ranged from destroying dens through rough play to leading an illegal patrol of apprentices out of camp as far as Sunningrocks before a warrior patrol found them. Quailpaw's attempts to assist the others never did slow down too much and it wasn't too nice in her favor. Her mentor, Ottertail, saw to it that she didn't go to a clan gathering for quite a while and he had made it clear that he was intent on pushing her warrior ceremony even further, but the leader forbade it. At long last, and a moon before her ceremony, Quailpaw was allowed to attend the gathering with her brother Blackpaw.

    I'm a Warrior!

    The sight of her parents and her mentor made the she-cat want to cry tears of joy. Her forest green eyes took peeks at her siblings, who had just earned their warrior names beside her: Troutsplash, Grayshine, and Blacknose. That sudden weak feeling that came with a nervous onslaught had rushed back to her legs when her leader locked eyes with hers. The words and oath that came next were mentally muted in result of her excitement, but she felt her body replying and sure enough her warrior name was spoken. "Quailfur!"
    ~
    "I wouldn't hang out with him. Something about him makes my belly get upset." Ever since Quailfur had started to take on patrols with Beetleclaw she was lectured by her brother, Blacknose. He would tell her that this cat was bad news and that she should be more worried about their mother's condition. To Quailfur's bad luck she took what Blacknose said as a lie and she proceeded with keeping Beetleclaw in her company. Two moons passed and Mudtail's body could no longer fight off the draining of energy from the new kits that were unborn. Quailfur's father, Heronstrike, was devastated and so were Troutsplash, Grayshine, and Blacknose. They all had known that she was weakening, but they refused to acknowledge it completely. The harsh reality took a toll on Quailfur's mentality with how she dealt with the truth and deception in the words of others. She would be more careful from then.

    We All Taste Defeat: *Have some background music for this* (soundcloud.com/junidoe/defeat-…

    If it wasn't for Blacknose, Quailfur would have blamed their mother's death on herself. Instead her brother took to her side and helped coax her out of her newly found depression, he reassured her of their mother's existence in StarClan and how Quailfur needed to be strong. Though "strong" wasn't really in the list of words to describe the she-cat's vigor. She was now careful with what any cat told her and would comment on their words rather harshly as if to seek out some lie that wasn't there at all. Quailfur was mentally training herself against those outside of her immediate family and the stress of doing so was apparent in the way she held herself.
    ~
    "Quailfur!" The yowls and hissing of cats whirled around the female warrior's surroundings as the image of the Sunningrocks came into view again. RiverClan had made an attempt too many on ThunderClan's precious territory and this battle was the result. Quailfur and Blacknose were in the thick of it with a two-on-two confrontation blocking their way back to the camp. Blacknose's stance faltered as a cause of the gash just below his neck and Quailfur could feel her brother's weariness when the two ThunderClan warriors threw themselves at the siblings. Quailfur braced herself and leaned into her brother to the point where she would take the head of the attack, but the familiar brown tabby pelt of Beetleclaw flashed in front of her and knocked the warriors to the ground. This extra time forced Quailfur to point her brother in the direction of camp and return to Beetleclaw's side. Once a chummy pair, and then long forgotten friends, but they took the responsibility of the two cats on themselves.
    ~
    RiverClan was called to retreat after all of the fighting and when it was apparent that they would not win against the cats of the forest. Quailfur leaned on Beetleclaw and he leaned on her for mutual support on their way back to camp. Not a cat that was in the battle was unscathed and though her wounds were needing care Quailfur pushed her way through her clanmates to find her beloved brother. Her friend that had warned her and pulled her from the blackness of her mind. After all of the effort put into protecting him she was faced with the horrible fact that Blacknose had died from the amount of blood he had lost. Emotion was replaced by anger and then by regret. Quailfur piled guilt on top of herself, but she didn't let it mentally affect her for her brother's sake. She simply tried her hardest to remember what he had said about their mother watching them from StarClan and she could only hope that Blacknose was there; in sight, but just beyond reach.

    Don't Work Your Life Away

    No cat is invincible; they cannot avoid sickness, heartbreak, or even death. Although Quailfur was taught that lesson quite a long time ago she always batted away the thought of a leader dying for good. She was a mere three seasons when Duststar laid down his final life and wasn't seen again. This caused a small panic among the clan and Badgerfang, the deputy at the time, stepped up to his responsibility to assume the role of leader and became Badgerstar. Quailfur often wondered what it was like when a deputy suddenly had to be the face of the clan and the rumors of the extreme emotions from getting nine lives made the she-cat not too enthusiastic. Badgerstar had but a moon to choose a new deputy as was the norm in the clans, but his choice may have surprised Quailfur more than the clan itself. Sure, they were good friends and didn't bicker like elders, but she hadn't foreseen herself becoming RiverClan's deputy.

    The reign of Badgerstar and Quailfur has begun...

    The chilling winds were only but half of the black tom's problems with Leaf-Bare. The seemingly endless snow never forgot to remind him that the season cycle was drawing to a close and he was getting older with each passing moon. Even now as the black figure trekked through the elbow-high precipitation the snow continued at a lazy pace that equally matched the cat's progress.

    Pirate-gold eyes flickered at the sight of any movement since the mostly white background annoyed the tom's routine thorough observation. With a sigh vapor seeped from the cat's jowls. It can't be long before this ends... His thoughts fed his hatred for the cold as the black tom cleared the jump over a fallen tree that had died long ago. The gold eyes narrowed suddenly and the warrior's body swiftly darted around. Out of paranoia or the realization of a genuine sound he did not know.

    "W-who's there?" His words sliced through the frigid air to nobody or somebody.

    {Traits Explained }

    Flirty | Brought on by watching those around her, and through trial and error, Koipaw has discovered her ability to flirt, and she is quite talented at it. She flirts with any and all. She doesn't care about age, gender, or clan. She will flirt just to flirt, and she uses her skill to get what she wants. Most times it works, and her skill increases. She finds no fault in this, and will flirt in all situations.

    Spoiled | Given anything she wanted as a kit, she was raised to believe she is entitled to anything and everything she so desires. She refuses to hear the word no, and throws tantrums if she doesn't get her way. She isn't so much self-centered, as she does consider others, as is required of her position, but she does believe she should get her way, at all times.

    Opptimist | Koipaw believes the best will come of everything. Perhaps not the best thing to believe when you work as a Medicine Cat, but it is how she is. She will always look at things in a good way, rather than the worst possible outcome. She considers only the good options, and will break down if something bad happens.

    Vain | Appearance is everything. Koipaw's fur must be neat, free of tangles nd dust, and so help her if there is a hearb stuck in her pelt. She is very keen on how she looks, and cares about what others think of her. She doesn't care about what they think of her actions, but she must be seen as spotless and clean in the eyes of those around her.

    Trampy | The nicest way possible of putting it, Koipaw seeks males out in order to have some 'fun'. She developed this after seeing both her parents and her denmate's mother doing the 'deed' as a kit, believing this is the ultimate form of fun. Having finally experienced the full act, she continues to try to perform it again, eager to see how it is with different cats. She doesn't consider the consequences of these actions, as it was explained to her as being natural, and common.

    { History }

    Concieved by the light of the moon
    Rainkit and Pinekit were enemies, raised to be so by their very own parents. Pinekit's father, Twistedsoul, hated the leader, Tallstar, and as such, hated his kits. Tallstar disliked Twistedsoul for the rumors that he had spread, about how Tallstar himself forced his way to the position he held.Rainkit, Tallstar's daughter, was very sweet, and wanted to play with the kits in the nursery. But the two were kept seperate, to prevent them from mingling. However, as they grew, and became apprentices together, they discovered their attraction to each other. It started with training sessions together, and in the end, on the day they were made warriors, Pinerush asked Rainsong to be his mate. The she-cat was thrilled, and agreed readily. Twistedsoul hated it, but his own mate, Wildcry, forced him to keep silent, wanting nothing more than her son to be happy. The two young warriors stayed together as often as possible, stealing moments to themselves at any given time. They were wildly in love, so it was no surprise when Rainsong was informed of her pregnancy at only 26 moons. The two didn't want kits, so they did the unthinkable. Rainsong threw herself off a steep height, and managed to kill her unborn kits. She spent a couple moons recovering, but once she was able, the two were back to their old ways, though less often, and only at the rightful time, when they lay down to sleep in the light of the moon above. They were loyal warriors, and earned their places as Senior warriors. Around 40 moons, Rainsong became ladden with kits again. This time, she gazed at her swollen belly with pride, longing to bring new life into this clan. Pinerush was the same, caring for his mate with as much care as possible. two moons later, they welcomed two small lives into their family.

    A star joins the sky
    Koikit and her brother Salmonkit were small, but strong. They oened their eyes after a week, and from that moment on, were never silent again. Salmonkit lost his blue eyes and gave way to amber eyes, while Koikit kept the blue color. Pinerush and Rainsong were loving parents, and it was terrible with a when they lost Salmonkit to kitten cough when they were 1 moon old. Koikit recovered from the loss, and after that, her parents kept her as happy as they could. Anything she wanted, asked for, or cried about, she recieved. Her parent's weren't too surprisd when they realized their doting was causing Koikit to have a severe lack of friends.

    Pinerush and Rainsong were very happy when they discovered that Koikit finally had a friend. Badgerkit, the son of Robinflight, their denmate for the time being, seemed to take a shine to the young she-cat. The two had similar qualities, and they parents were happy to let them be,for it seemed hard for either kit to make friends. Badgerkit and Koikit played together sometimes, but their friendship really was more of a respect for each other. Koikit looked up to Badgerkit for being older, and stronger than her. Koikit put his interest in her due to the fact she looked like his family, and not her own. But truth be told, she didn't care. She liked having a friend.

    Koikit was spoiled, and as such, slept with her mother every night, and it was this way that she was first introduced to the very adult action of showing love. Pinerush and Rainsong never could seem to get enough, and late one night, Koikit witnessed this act. The parents realized this the next day, when a very confused kit questioned them about their actions. They responded sheepishly, but told the truth. That their actions were something cats did when they were in love, and to create new life. Koikit was confused still, but accepted the answer. This changed when she withnessed another pair of cats doing this, a queen in the nursery with her and her mother, but not with the father of the queens kits. She questioned Rainsong once more and recieved another truthful answer. That the action wasn't solely for mates, any cat could do it. It was a good way to relieve stress, and though it was dishonorable to do it with a cat other than your mte, it wasn't unheard of. Pinerush, jokingly, added onto that statement. "It's quite fun as well, heh" Koikit pretended not to hear that, but it never left her mind, confusion still holding tight.

    The truth revealed, a bond formed
    When she was almost 4 moons old, Badgerpaw, who had just become an apprentice, took her out of the camp for the first time in the she-cat's life. They snuck out, as it was dark, and Koikit stuck close to the apprentice. She wasn't scared, but she did have no idea where they were. They settled into a clearing, and Badgerpaw began explaining to her what her parents had failed to get her to understand. He told her how felines of all ages liked to seek each others precence for simple pleasue. How it wasn't uncommon for cats to do it with more thn one. She learned from this young tom that it was a great way to relieve stress, and that night, after they finished talking, Koikit felt like her bond with her kithood friend was going to be there forever.

    Over the next couple moons, as Badgerpaw lost his first mentor and gained another, Koikit was there for him. She didnt doubt him for a second, and it was there when she began to fake feelings and tell fibs. And it was around her 5th moon that her skill in it really blossumed. She stuck up for her friend when a few warriors were suspicious, and informed them of how the old cat had been tripping all over the place earlier that day. The feelings she put into her words were so believing that most of those suspicious were turned, now believing the small little kit. It helped that Koikit had shown them her tail, which had been 'stepped' on my the old tom as he scrambled to get to his paws the day of his death. In truth, everytime a cat touched it, Koikit had faked a cry of pain. Dosed with Poppy seeds that night to help her 'sleep past the pain' she had told Badgerpaw when he came to visit her the truth. This only strengthened their bond. She was soon back in the nursery with her mother, and she began to perfect her skills.

    As the day of her apprentice ceremony started to come near, her parents were slightly horrified to see how their ittle girl was acting. But they could do nothing to fix her behavior, as now she was 6 moons, and about to be apprenticed. Koikit had never shown any interest in herbs, but asked at the last moment to become the apprentice to the medicine cat. Her reasoning was simple. She hated scars, wounds, anything that would make a cat less appealing. She aimed to make sure that the cats of Windclan were never graced with such a disfiguration. A terrible reason for sure, but at least her heart was put fully into her position. Pinerush saw this as an opportunity to correct their daughter's behavior, so made sure Koikit's request was granted. This deepened her traits, and the next day, she touched noses with Nightrraven, the medicine cat of Windclan, and took her spot as his apprentice.

    The people you can meet
    The first moon of her apprentice ship was amazingly eventful. Koipaw meet up with loads of new faces. Skyclan, Thunderclan, Shadowclan, and Riverclan cats all learned and met this apprentice. Her first meeting with a cat outside her clan was Stagheart, a Skyclan warrior. Admiring his pelt, she convinced him she was under attack, and he escorted her back to camp. Later that day, she told Badgerpaw all about her meeting with the elegant tom. Badgerpaw expressed a desire to meet him as well, and the night ended in a way neither saw coming. They made the most of their friendship, and Koipaw learne for the first time what mating really was.

    After that, during one of her solo outings, Koipaw was attacked by a rogue who had caught her scent. Taken against her will, she feared for her life until an apprentice of her own clan came and saved her from the foul fiend. She was taken back to camp where she recovered, and a new bond was made, this one of a non sexual origin. After recovering, she rejoined Badgerpaw and Fishpaw, who had become friends over their like care for the small she-cat. She later met Aspenwind, an innocent Riverclan warrior who caught her interest. She convinced him, and taught him things about life he didn't know before.

    She was still not 7 moons when she ran into Softpaw, the Thunderclan Medicine cat apprentice. Koipaw was full of confusion, for this she-cat caused her the same feelings that males tended to cause in the feline. A moment of emotions later, during which Koipaw revealed her true feelings for the first time in a long time, Koipaw was left bleeding on her cheek, but with a new, unlikely friend. She still meets cats by the borders, enjoying her time as an apprentice, constantly sneaking into the apprentice den to sleep with her friends. She knows she will one day have to step up, but for now, her mentor is very healthy, and it wont be anytime soon.

    { Small Quirks }
    -> Koipaw is obsessed with appearances. If a cat has a physical deformity, be it a missing eye, ear, or even a small scar, she is much less liekely to chase that cat. She believes that if something isn't perfect, it wont be worth the chase.
    -> Koipaw is very good at mimicing emotions, and faking actions to get her way. She will do anything to get what she wants, and has perfected almost all emotions aside from guilt. She isn't good at guilt, and her lies there can be seen easily. Her other fake emotions are almost impossible to see through.
    -> Koipaw is very good at reading a cat and learning something about them that she can use. If your cat is prideful, or a scaredy cat, expect her to figure it out within a few moments of talking to them, or sometimes even just watching them.
    -> Unknown factor to most cats- Koipaw likes pain. It makes her feel good. It hurts, but in a good way.
    -> Any fur that looks beautiul, soft, thick, or really, perfect, Koipaw wants to touch. If there is dirt, or something hampering the pelt of a cat, she fels inclined to clean it. She can't help it. She has been caught more than once staring at a feline's pelt, just because they had a scrap of moss stuck in it.
    --> Koipaw has a stash of cinammon and leeks hidden away. These are two naturally growing plants that can act as an aphrodisiac when taken properly. She learned about this from a loner she had an interesting talk with, who gave her the supply, as well as told her where to find them. Kept secret from everyone, even her friends.

    Clan Of The Brave

    Image
    "Mother, tell me how Dawnclan came to be?"
    "Of course, my dear.." Your mother purred and brushed her tail down your back.

    "A kit ran into a meadow, cold and hungry. She had escaped the fire that burnt down her home. She fell to her knees, and when she woke up, she was in a den.
    She had no idea where she was. Do you know who this is?"
    "M-Moonstar?"
    "Yes, my dear.
    Moonkit was terrified. When the cat who took her away walked in, Moonkit questioned the she-cat. The cat's name was Lilac. She was pretty light brown she-cat with darker brown tabby markings. She had bright blue eyes and was very friendly. Apprently she had found Moonkit passed out in the meadow.
    She nursed and raised Moonkit back to health. Moonkit grew up, then when she was hunting her and Lilac comfronted a badger. Lilac ordered Moonkit to run. Moonkit did as told. She ran. Lilac fought the badger and when it finally ran off, she fell to her side, motionless and her neck ripped apart. (insert gasp from you) Moonkit was devistated. She ran into the burnt forest that was slowly growing back to normal. She soon found herself in the old camp of Dawnclan.
    She met up with some loners and proposed them to join Dawnclan. Most accepted. That was the start.
    Later on, Moonk--star, had her deputy, Redflame. Redflame was loyal. One day he died in battle. Moonstar was devistated. She had no idea who to appoint for deputy.
    She looked down to her long time friend, Sunfang, who was a loyal tabby with green eyes, he looked back up at her and met her gaze. She appointed him deputy that day.
    Moons later, Moonstar was sick, being 190 moons. A badger burst into camp and Moonstar ran at it. Everycat yellled in terror and objection. Sunfang ran in and managed to fight the badger off. He fell to the ground as Moonstar chased it off and turned to her loyal deputy "Sunfang! Dont leave me!" Moonstar cried in fear and dropped at her deputys motionless body.
    His apprentice that had became a warrior 6 moons again looked at Moonstar and laid her tail on Moonstar's back. Moonstar looked at the young warrior and saw a true warrior at heart.
    "Hopegaze.. step forward." Moonstar announced later that day "your mentor, Sunfang, was a brilliant mentor. Now you will be given an apprentice, Vemonpaw. And, I would like you to be deputy." Hopegaze's eyes twinkled with surprise "th-thank you Moonstar! i accept." She bowed and trotted off with Vemonpaw. Later that day Moonstar passed from blackcough. Hopegaze was appointed Hopestar, and of course, is still our leader now." Your mother purrs.
    "Wow.." You breath out.
    "That was two moons ago Bravestar came to be leader. Now, little one, get some rest.."

    From that day, every cat was welcomed to join Dawn Clan, old and younge, loners, kittypets, as long as they are loyal to their clan, Star Clan shall light their path.

He will help you heal." Fawnflight eventually realized how much she owed to her former student... her friend.

    Personality

    { Calm | Independent | Clever | Analytical | Unimaginitive | Insensitive }

    History

    { Kittypet }

    : Before Birth ::

    : Kitten ::

    : Maturity ::

    { Loner }

    : Adulthood ::

    { Clanmate }

    : Warrior ::

    {Traits Explained }

    { History }

    { Small Quirks }

    Fawnstar looked around at her clan, she stiffened as she noticed how small her clan was. Slowly her chest heaved a long depressing sigh as she padded out of her den. "Snowleaf, take a large patrol to resent all of our borders" she ordered. Her dream had bin anything but kind. "Make sure you remark the scents as strong as possible with Butterfly and Berry Camp."
