I sat in a tree on a low branch,I was on the very edge of the vampire territory.If I fell far enough It was possible to land in werewolf territory.I never saw one before in almost 200 years of living,I tensed up gripping my pencil.I smelt one,a werewolf,I dropped my pencil and stood up I jumped on a higher branch.I kept hopping until i met the top of the tree,I was being careless in my jumping and I was now dangling from the highest branch.I hadn't fed in days so I didn't have the strength to pull myself up.Instead I let go and fell,and fell and fell until i reached the grass on werewolf territory.I got up and brushed myself off I didn't see any,I didn't hear any but I could smell one getting closer.I didn't know what to do so i fell to my knees with my head tilted towards the leaves on the grass.

"I hope you know that what you did was both stupid...and reckless..."I said sticking the straw into his mouth,"It was also brave..."I said a small smile on my face as I used one hand to hold the baggie and another brush the hairs out from his face."So was that deer worth it...?"I asked him pulling the baggie away so he would answer.He already looked better,healthier,but he still had a hungry look in his eyes.

I stood up slowly,"I-I've never seen a were before..." I said still looking at the grass.I brushed a piece of hair out of my face and looked up,once I did I saw this bright light and then a wolf with the color of my hair.I blinked back to reality,"I fell...from the tree..."I said explaining why I was in his territory,I knew more werewolves would show up if I stayed any longer."Sorry," I said walking past him to the line of safety.I picked up my pencil and my notebook that was now stained with grass I sat at the bottom of the tree. I couldn't shake this feeling I had about him,It was weird,I couldn't put my finger on it but it was something warm and soothing.I took a small sniff of the air,It smelt like dog yes but it also smelt sweet.

I saw him walking away,"Hey wait up!"I yelled after him throwing my notebook and pencil to the side.Since we were on neutral territory for the time being I wanted to get to know him better.He turned around and I paused,"I-I'm Cassandra...by the way.."I said half nervous.If he really wanted to he could kill me on the spot for stepping on his territory,But he didn't and know I was curious as to why he didn't.I stuck a hand out as I introduced myself,"Ellington,Cassandra Ellington."I said in more of a whisper."Why didn't you kill me back there..?I was on your territory..."I asked curiously, a confused look on my face.I took normal breaths like humans did,But I didn't need them,As I inhaled I smelled the sweet smell I did before.Could it be strawberries?Lemons?Vanilla? I couldn't put my finger on the smell not exactly,It just made me feel safe.

"I just...every part of me says I should get to know you...And Before I knew it,I asked you to wait."I said smiling at my shoes,"Listen I realize you probably don't want to be seen with someone like me,a vamp,I mean they are just...horrible,But I'm different.I'm what I like to call a vegetarian,I only drink animals or from blood banks."I said before realizing I was talking a lot.I quickly shut my mouth,"Sorry...I normally don't talk a lot,But anyways I'm good..."I smiled a small smile at him showing the tips of my fangs.I laughed nervously,my fangs were coming out slowly due to my hunger.I hid them as best as I could with my lips,my throat was dry and I felt as if my legs were about to give out,I was being drained quickly,in only a matter of seconds would I fall unconscious.But when I fall what will happen?Will he leave me to die?Will he just push me back onto vampire territory and ditch me?Would he care for me?I didn't know...and sure enough I fell to the ground unconscious,paler than normal,colder than normal.I needed to feed,I needed blood or I would surely die by starvation.

I felt a pair of arms catch me,I slowly opened my eyes as he placed me on the ground.I watched confused as he cut his arm and held it out to me,I lightly sunk my fangs into his arm.I drank a small amount from him,just enough to last me till tomorrow,I sealed the cut he made with my tongue."You didn't have to...But-Why?"I asked in more of a whisper slowly getting up."I didn't hurt you...did I?"I asked realizing that I could've by complete accident.I plucked a leaf or two from my hair unsure If i got the rest out,"Thanks."I whispered quietly knowing he would be able to hear me.
