"Thanks." Ella offered a small smile, closing the gate and handing Ellie her knife. "Like I said, you better give it back." Ella refused to snicker at her own feeble attempt at teasing. "Nice place you guys got here." She wondered to herself how many people lived here. It was a rather large compound, but she had only seen a few.

((Okay~ ^^))
Savvy cupped her ex's face gently, pulling her in for a kiss. It was nice... But Savvy felt terrible. Carter's face bloomed into her mind, but she continued to kiss Grace. The other girl pulled Savvy closer, snaking her arms around the blonde's neck.

So do we take the spots of friends or potential boyfriends? ;P I'm pretty interested in this, actually.
-
Savvy pulled away, completely mortified. "I shouldn't be here. I reeaally shouldn't be here." She said. Grace smiled deviously. "But don't you still love me? I could feel it in that kiss."
"I broke up with you for a reason, Grace!" Savvy snapped, and stormed pout of the room, not noticing that she passed Carter and Ali. She jumped into her yellow BMW and started the ignition. Running a hand through her hair, Savvy just sort of sat there, her car running. -
Recap...? I think this is going too fast. XD

Okey dokey~

Savannah • Ann • Smith"Yep, that's me. Call me Savvy though. I like it better. My parents always say that from the minute I was born until now I've never stopped smiling. That's not entirely true, but I am your typical happy, bubbly 16-year old. I love to smile and laugh, but it hasn't always come so easy. In 8th grade I was pretty much the same, just a happy, open kid. That was until I came out about being bi. I mean I was open, I trusted everyone. But everyone betrayed that trust as they tormented me, calling me names behind my back and to my face. Once, a passing kid stopped to watch me get pounded with insults. Finally the bullies left. At first they frowned, because they saw I was sad. But then, they suddenly smiled, and walked over to me, putting a comforting hand on my shoulder. "You're fine just the way you are," he said, and left. So I figured; "If I smile, maybe they'll just leave me alone." It didn't work out exactly like that, but as time went on, my fake smiles became real ones. The teasing didn't even faze me anymore. It was like magic. I just make it a point to smile at everyone. You just never know when it'll make a difference."
((Note; She's only a potential girlfriend if you're comfortable with that. ;P Also, I don't mind her being just a friend. XD Just know I didn't make her bi so she could be with your character or anything~))

(Oh thanks. :3 Haha it's okay, it was just slow this morning so I was surprised with several new pages. ;P Sorry if this post is really bad. XD)
Ella ran towards voices, not exactly sure where the walkers had come from. There had been a lot of confusion. She still hadn't had her weapons returned, which really irked her. She was going to have to find that Ellie again. "Hey! Everything alrigh--" Ella cut herself off and stopped in her tracks. Someone got bit. Holy sh*t... She thought. Her first instinct was to get closer to comfort the girl, but common sense told her that the girl could turn at any moment, and keeping a distance was best.
The girl wanted to be shot. "I... I can't..." The other replied. Ella was almost disgusted at herself. She could. She could do it. "... I can..." She said, hating herself.

"What am I doing?"
"What the heck am I doing?"
Savvy gripped her steering wheel, her knuckles white. It was then that the tears flooded her eyes. Why! Why did she feel this way? How could she still have feelings for Grace? Savvy needed to get away. Far, far away, to think things through. It was so cluttered here. Savvy needed to go somewhere.
I need to think about some stuff. Don't wait up for me, I'll be back tomorrow. I love you.
Savvy sent the text to Carter even though it sounded dumb. A crappy apology for something her girlfriend didn't even know about. Savvy drove off. She'd go to the coast. Luckily for her, living in a coastal state, it was only a few hours' drive.
-
Ella picked up a stray gun by her foot.
She aimed at the girl's head."I'm sorry."
Time seemed to almost slow down as Ella closed her eyes and squeezed the trigger. She couldn't bear to look. It was funny, how shooting a person felt. Kind of like pouring water on a fire. But worse. Because that fire had friends, a family, a future. Crushed by a single bullet, a finger on a trigger. Ella didn't really hear the shot go off.
'I'm sorry' just didn't cut it this time.
-
Savvy looked at her phone, and felt her heart shatter.
It wasn't like that! she wanted to scream, It didn't mean anything!
Savvy didn't reply just yet. She couldn't on the freeway. So she settled for a silent car ride, silent tears. Silence was golden.
-
Ella's hand shook and she dropped the gun. She stood frozen, watching the friends gather around, feeling cold and alone.
Madeline.
So that was her name.
Ella was in between wanting to stay and wanting to run away. But she stayed, eventually letting her arms drop to her sides, just staring blankly at the girl. It was weird. Killing walkers didn't feel like this, and they were people at one time. But you didn't see their life. You never heard their human voice, the tears choking them up in fear. You didn't se their friends gather around and mourn. They were people, but not when you shot them.
-
"Now listen, we aren't going to play the blame game." Ella said softly, her blank gaze unwavering. "The last thing we need is someone taking this upon themselves." She gulped. How could she look any of them in the eye again? "We just... We'll all be more careful." Her voice was not commanding. More pleading. Ella didn't understand why. She covered her eyes with a hand to hide the sight of the girl.
Why was she still here?
-
"I said we need to stop blaming ourselves." Ella growled, siding with Rae. "We don't need anyone breaking down, in fact, that's the last this we need." She refused to look anyone in the eye. "What we need to do is... Is keep going. Would... Would Madeline have liked that?" The question came out timidly, almost as if Ella assumed they'd all jump on her screaming that she never knew Madeline. Ella had fired the shot, after all, might've done the same.
-
Ella gratefully obliged to the man's suggestion, silencing herself. Did she do the right thing?
The other girl stormed out.Ella hoped they didn't hate her.
-
Ella raised her eyes nervously. "If you guys still want me here. I understand if you don't. I've been doing alright on my own." She said quietly. So quiet and weak. This wasn't like her. She wanted to apologize. But she knew they'd just be offended. Ella would feel offended as well, if she was them.
-
"I... I guess I'll stay. Thanks Ellie." Ella smiled weakly at the girl. She wanted to talk with Ellie, the inly real friend she had... Ella didn't completely trust the others yet. But Ellie was okay. In all honesty, Ella wished she hadn't picked up that gun, or followed the voices. There was too much coming back to bite her.
-
Ella walked down the halls of the prison, dragging her fingers along the bars.
Your intentions were good and I respect you.
Ella knew they were hollow words. She knew they were meant in the best of ways. But even if her intentions were good, there was really no forgiving her. She'd killed another person. Ella stopped walking and sat on the floor. The cool stone felt refreshing. Something to hold her in place.
"I couldn't even look at her."
-
"Ellie, I couldn't even look at her." Ella kind of just sat, staring at the floor. "How can I ever look any of them in the eye? They'll never forgive me. Have you ever killed a person? I didn't even hear the shot. And all I could think when I saw that bullet wound in her skull was; I did that." Ella gripped her knees, eyes wide. "She didn't do anything wrong and I killed her. It was like putting down a dog."
-
Savvy finally parked, jumping out of her car. Good thing she word shorts today. Yanking off her sneakers and tossing them into her trunk, Savvy walked barefoot down to the sand, and sat down in it, watching the waves. It was fairly deserted.
She saw.
Savvy hugged herself. She always messed everything up.
She'd lie and say it didn't mean anything... But it did.
But she couldn't break it off with Carter. She just loved Carter too much.
But Grace...Was Savvy really thinking about cheating?
"Why..."
-
Savvy stopped in the coffee shop, paying for her coffee. Her eyes fell on a girl drawing, staring straight ahead. Wondering how she managed to draw without looking at the paper, Savvy went to sit with her.
The drawing was of a girl being chocked by a bloody chain.
"Um, hi. I was wondering how you draw like that without looking." Savvy smiled.
