Sam didn't take his hand and simply nodded, he seemed somehow distant, "yeah that's Sam." Said Adam, "he's a quiet ol' lug." He gave Same a friendly slap on the arm before turning back towards Finn, "I also need to invite Katherine. Not sure if you've met her yet, its always nice to have a skirt on the team and... speak of the devil!" He exclaimed, as he saw her weaving through the crowd, "hey Kitty, over here!"

Ralis chuckled, "what's with this pompous noble act you got going? Keep rolling your eyes their gonna pop out of your head." He teased.
-
Adam grinned, "we have a big pick up and thought we could maybe use your... femenin charms to throw off the fellas we're dealing with. Tensions are a little high and I don't favor getting bumped off by a bunch of touchy louts." Sam looked down at Adam and spoke for the first time that evening,
"One more person wont tip the odds in our favor." He said in a gruff voice. Adam looked at him sourly,
"Fine... you know any other dames that might be willing to tag along.." he paused before adding, "preferably one with a nice set of gams." -
"Franny? Yeah I think she's with the gangs. Hey buddy." Said Adam, as he patted Sam on the back, "why don't you snoop her out, see if she's game?" Sam scowled, he didn't like being volunteered, but he complied and went off in search of her. Adam looked between Katherine and Finn with a broad smile, "any more? A little extra never hurt nobody."
-
Ralis shrugged, "I was raised to be strong for my peoples sake..." he winced after saying it.
-
Adam clapped his hands together, "all right, its a done deal. You fetch little Mabel while Sam's off getting Franny, and we can be on our way within the hour."
Sam awkwardly wormed his way the mobs of flailing arms and legs. Several flappers tried to pull him into a dance, and even one man; everyone stopped trying when he punched the man right in the jaw. He hoped the scene would silence the dance floor enough that he'd be able to find Franny.
-
Adam smirked, understanding as to why Katherine was so cautious, "you'll see. Its much better left as a surprise."
-
Ralis nodded but said nothing, "we should prepare ourselves for tomorrow. Guards will be all over this place soon enough, and we'll need an alibi that'll keel em at bay."
-
Ralis looked out the window thoughtfully, "there's our alibi..." he muttered. Then he turned to his bed and flopped down in it, "we should sleep." Was all he said.
-
It was the middle of the night, or so Ralis guessed by the height of the moon, when he woke up sweaty and panting from a nightmare. He looked to see if he'd woken Emily before going to the window and watching for guards; simply to keep his mind busy.
-
Ralis didn't look at her, "yes I'm just keeping a lookout." He clipped.
-
Ok... you guys just want to start?
-
Ralis chuckled, "yeah you put up one heck of a fight there." He mumbled. The following morning, Ralis woke up sitting the window sill with his head leaning against the glass, creating an almost childish facial expression.

Luke followed brock to his car, and gave him directions to Kayla's apartment.

Nicodeme waited with a glass of wine in hand at the unloading platform. His peers had advised him not to enter the unloading area without protective gear, but he ignored their warnings. He perked up excitedly as the door slid open with the hiss of the air locks popping loose. First of was a young male with brown hair and brown eyes. The guards nudged him off of the ship with their guns, snapping orders at him. He complied with both shock, and stunned silence. A young man trussed up in a bio hazard suit did a quick once over of the boy with a form of scanner. After he gave the ok, another man jotted down quick notes,"subject 1, male, average build, physically 'mature'" the boy was then shoved into a room where he'd be briefed on how this was to proceed. Nicodeme was fascinated. Humans such a strangely diverse species, even with their low amount of different races. He watched as a young' blond girl was put through the same procedure, followed by a very young boy, and so forth. He watched as all ten were unloaded before approaching one of the rooms. He planned on interviewing one of the humans in person.

(I think my post scared everyone away)
-
"Morning." He said, as he lowered himself from the windowsill, "oh!" His face lit up and he picked up what appeared to be a large white gown, the style.obviously foreign, "you'll need to wear this if we're to slip past the guards."
-
Nicodeme entered the room with the youthful human male. He was forced to pause upon seeing a young kit in the room. He knelt down and looked at her, "excuse me miss. What are you doing here?" He didn't sound angry, just curious.
Jeremy was frightened. There was no saying what these things would do to them. The number of paranoid presumptions that ran through his head were enough to make any man cry.
-
Ralis smiled, "I was up all night sewing the curtains and bedsheets and... sewing an important survival skill where I come from." He clipped defensively, "anyways. In the islands to the east a woman wears this gown when she's failed to deliver a child."
-
Nicodeme watched as the girl was carried out of the room. He took time to think of the compliments she'd given him, a hard and somewhat troubled look in his eyes. He turned towards the human, "don't think of it!" He snapped bitterly as if their minds were on the same thing.
