    Examining and prodding gently at Lostkit's paw, Icefeather nodded to herself before she started gathering up small twigs and cobwebs. "I think you've got a very small sprain there, little one. I'm going to bind it and then give you some herbs for the pain and that should help you feel better. You can rest here for today and then go back to the nursery tonight. Does that sound okay?" Icefeather snapped the twig into smaller pieces so that she could fit them to Lostkit's foot.

    Bustling around her den, Icefeather came back to Lostkit after a moment and shook her head fondly, setting the herbs down nearby. "One day, you will be big enough, little one. But it's okay to be small for now. Every cat starts out small, y'know. Just enjoy it and be a little careful and you'll be bigger before you know it." Sniffing through her little bundle, Icefeather huffed to herself. "Now, about that paw of yours."

    Icefeather had been on her way to visit Ratstar, to check on the leader that had seemed more and more listless with the passing days. But as she approached, a sinking feeling weighed in her gut before the dark feline emerged from her den. Choking on her breath and stumbling to a stop, Icefeather could see it - unlike other cats. It was in the lines of Ratstar's shoulder, it was in the way her paws fell to the earth, and the look in her eyes that screamed the truth to the medicine cat. Ratstar had lost a life. Icefeather hadn't been there for her, hadn't help her own leader protect the precious gifts StarClan had given her in order to lead. Icefeather had failed Ratstar and her duties in letting this happen. How had she not noticed? How could she have not been there for her? A distresed noise slipped free from Icefeather before she could contain it.

    Nodding easily, Icefeather gently nudged Lostkit towards her den, voice reassuring as she spoke kindly. "As long as you take the herbs I give you and rest properly, you'll be just fine little one. And maybe in the future, make sure you play with kits who are your size. It can be dangerous to play with bigger kits because they don't know their own strength." Already running through what she would have to check on Lostkit's paw and the herbs she might need, Icefeather led the little kit into her den.

    Quick to poke her head out of the medicine den, Icefeather spotted the source of the call. Trotting quickly over, the medicine cat crouched to examine Lostkit's tiny paw. Sensing the kit's distress easily, Icefeather purred quietly and shot the young kit a reassuring glance. "Don't worry little one, you're allowed to be upset over this. I would have cried if I hurt my paw, too." A quick look told Icefeather it wasn't broken, and there was no external wound, so she needed to figure out what exactly was wrong. "Can you tell me what happened while we go to my den?"

    Icefeather, who had started to clean up her den a little, paused to nod in Nightpaw's direction. "I don't think that Sorrelfire and Ratstar would have a problem with that, so feel free to rest here until someone from your Clan comes to fetch you." The white tabby couldn't remember if some cat had already gone to ThunderClan to explain the situation, but she supposed that she would get an answer sooner rather than later. For now, her concern was the apprentice in front of her.

    Immediately depositing poppy seeds in front of the panting apprentice, Icefeather winced sympathetically at the younger's comment. "That should be the worst of the pain for healing. If things start to hurt again, you should tell someone whether it's myself or someone back in your Clan." Nudging the seeds again, Icefeather continued. "For now, take these as they should help with the pain and you'll be able to sleep for a little while."

    Wincing at the explanation, Icefeather felt pity curl grotesquely in her stomach for the other she-cat. Giving herself a quick shake, Icefeather nodded and sighed quietly. "I'm afraid that I can't do much for your eye, Tansyface. It would have been better to treat it right away, but obviously that was impossible. We can keep an eye on it to make sure nothing becomes infected, but I think you'll be okay. You just have to train yourself to move about with half your sight."

    //sorry

    Taking a moment to prepare, Icefeather glanced at Nightpaw's face before quickly shifting the bone in her leg back into place. The noise was admittedly a little sickening, and the medicine cat wouldn't blame the younger she-cat if she reacted violently. Resetting bones was something Icefeather thankfully didn't have to do regularly. But it was never enjoyable whenever it did need to be done.

    Icefeather's fur bristled slightly as she listened to Tansyface describe what was going on with her. Having noticed the way the she-cat flinched from her greeting, the medicine cat continued the conversation in a much calmer manner than before. "I think that we should try to get at least something in your stomach, Tansyface. The lack of food might be contributing to the fur loss. As for you sight, did anything specific happen to your eyes at all?" Turning her head to look down at Wrenkit, Icefeather purred softly and shook her head. "I don't think I need herbs at this time, little one. But thank you for offering."

    Icefeather had been half asleep, trying to find a comfortable position to lay in and half considering taking a poppy seed just to actually get some rest. She was now infinitely glad she hadn't when she heard Shatteredsong call for her. Scrambling to her paws, Icefeather darted into the clearing of camp, coming face to face with the warrior that had summoned her and-- "Tansyface!" Icefeather breathed in shock. Rushing toward the she-cat, the white tabby purred happily and nuzzled the other's cheek in a brief greeting. "You're back! Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

    Watching everything play out, Icefeather couldn't help the sigh of relief that escaped her when Sorrelfire didn't immediately turn Owlpaw out. She trotted up to him again and flicked her tail lightly against his shoulder. "I'm glad you're back, little one." The white tabby purred quietly before heading off to her den, needing to sort through the herbs she had brought back. As much as she wanted to stick around, Icefeather knew that she could come back and Owlpaw would still be there.

    Feeling her chest twist a little at his words, Icefeather sighed and shook her head slowly. "The next time you're looking for answers, at least tell someone so we have an idea of where the hell you've run off to. We thought you were dead and then we found out you were with BloodClan and we didn't understand at all." Shaking her pelt out quickly, Icefeather went and collected her herb bundle up again. Stopping in front of Owlpaw again, Icefeather appraised him with relieved eyes. "Just come to me next time, please?"
