Time to figure out what his starter Pokemon was. He grabbed the pokeball from his bag and called the Pokemon within out. He was incredibly happy when a little Growlithe appeared. It was a powerful Pokemon and one he knew how to battle well with.

Lunaria shook her head. "I have not seen this dragon, I have only heard the leaders voice" she said. "When I first arrived in this realm I spent my days wandering the lands. I was doing this when I heard the voice. It asked me what I was doing here and I explained myself too it. It said that they were the leader of this realm and told me make my home in this land if I decided to stay."

Andrew looked down at his Abra walking by his side. "See anyone you recognize" he asked the Pokemon knowing it would have the best chance of finding Andrew's few friends from last year. The Abra just stared at him and didn't do anything. Andrew gave an annoyed sign and started walking down the sidewalk.Kobe Blake
Kobe laughed as Sage tumbled over herself in an attempt to get her jaws over the toy he was using to play with her. They where in a small field with a bunch of other students around them, though they kept to themselves. On Kobe's backpack lay his Tyrunt, snoring softly as it slept in the warm sun. While he was distracted checking on Tyrunt Sage snatched the toy from his hand and pranced away. Kobe glared at her but let her take it to play.Kai Valkooz
"Yes mom, I'll be fine" Kai complained once more as her mother checked her stuff over to make sure she has everything she could possibly need. "I know, I know. I just don't like the idea of leaving you alone" Ella said to her daughter and Kai rolled her eyes. "Mom, I've done this before" she reminds her. Ella just sighs and finally backs away from Kai. "Are you sure you'll be okay here while your father and I return to the Hoenn region?" She asks once more and Kai answers with an exasperated yes once more. "I need to go" Kai says and grabs her stuff walking away from her mother with one last goodbye called over her shoulder. -
"Yes, thank you" Lunaria says dipping her head in a farewell to the other dragon. "And, for future reference, don't come to my den unannounced again" she warns before she returns to her cave den and goes back to her afternoon meal.

"Dammit" Lunaria snarled softly as bit off a chunk of meat. That was extremely rude she snarled to herself. She heaved a sigh and laid down her head not even bothering to finish her meal. If she ever wanted to change her ways she was going to have to stop threatening people.. among other things. The female drake pushed the half eaten carcas away from her and retreated to the deepest darkest part of the cave to sleep away her, rather slight, guilt.

"Alright! You staged the challenge, you make the first move" Andrew called to Vixen not giving his Growlithe an order yet. I'm gonna need to give it a name soon he thought looking over the young Pokemon.

IC: "Quick, try to dodge it!" Kobe called out as fast as he could. He just hoped his Growlithe has fast reflexes and is light on their feet.

Kobe cringed slightly when the attack landed on his Growlithe's shoulder despite her good attempt at dodging the blow. Yet she recovered quickly. Looking a little shaken up but still standing. He gave a slight nod to his Pokemon for her strength so far. "Use your bite attack" he called wanting to land the blow now while Pan was still pulling out of it's previous attack.

"Don't let it get to you. Focus!" Kobe called seeing his Growlithe relax shortly after her attack landed on Vixen's Pokemon.
The Growlithe's teeth had long since gotten a hold of Pan. But as she caught a look at the other pokemon's eyes her death grip loosened. She felt slightly bad for putting pan through all this. But as she heard her trainer's voice she tightened the bite again. She focused in on that sound and tried to shut off the effects of the other pokemon's baby-doll eyes' attack.

The Growlithe let go of Pan with a yelp when the attack landed. She backed away a few steps shaking her head to focus herself through the remaining pain.
"Use ember and don't let her get near you" Kobe ordered. If this worked his Growlithe could not only keep Pan from landing any more pound attacks, but also do some good damage herself.

Andrew had given up on using his Abra to try and find anyone and had just decided to let the Pokemon wander and he would follow him. He suspected Abra wouldn't be of much help considering he had hatched a few weeks ago and had only ever seen Andrew's friends in pictures. He had actually used his grandfather's Espeon as his Pokemon last year. It was kind of like a test of sorts to see how Andrew would handle taking care of Pokemon. And apparently he had passed because shortly after he had gotten home his grandfather had given him an egg to take care of that would become his own Pokemon. The practice and experience of handling Espeon last year had definitely boosted Andrew's confidence in his own abilities and he was ready to try this year with his own Abra.Kobe Blake
Kobe glanced up as he heard someone yelling to one of the other students and he saw a girl with a massive Luxray running across the field. He looked around and the other students and saw that majority of them had found other friends from previous years or had made new ones. Yes Kobe had yet to see anyone he knew well enough to go socialize with them, so he stayed put with his Pokemon. One of whom had finally decided to come over and relax. Sage, it seemed, had finally gotten rid of some of her abundant energy. Though Kobe knew she would be back to playing in an hour or so.Kai Valkooz
Kai Carly turned the page in the current book she was reading. After her mother had finally left she immediately went to find a good place to read, picking out a large oak tree to lay under. She had always loved reading but with her families hustle and bustle lifestyle she didn't always get the chance to get through a good book. Which is part of the reason why she wanted to come to the academy. It would be a place for her to just slow down and take things easy. A very welcome change to life with her parents. -

OOC: Okay I'm back. Hunting was brutal bus successful
IC: The sparks of flame pounded the Earth just below Pan's feet where they had just been as they jumped out of the way. The Growlithe stopped the attack and watched Pan to keep them in her line of sight.
"Follow it and keep up the attack" Kobe said backing away slightly to make sure he didn't get hit with any stray embers. He smiled slightly as him Growlithe spun with Pan's dodge to keep up the barrage of attacks.

"Move!" Kobe barked but it was too late. The attack landed straight on and his Growlithe went down. She skidded a few feet and Kobe anxiously waited for her to get up, but she didn't move. He knew then that this battle was over and that he had lost. Yet he was extremely proud of his Pokemon. She fought well and she fought hard. He called her back to her pokeball to give her a chance to rest. "Nicely done" he said softly and put the ball back in his pack. "Congratulations on your first victory" he said to vixen nipping his head to her slightly.

"Thank you" Kobe said to both Crystal and Vixen. "Not to bad for my first real battle eh?" He chuckled. He was immensely proud of both himself and his Pokemon. If she fights likee that all the time he knows he'll go far as a trainer.

Andrew stopped walking when he heard the principal's announcement. "Abra it's time to go" he called out to get his pokemon's attention. The golden colored creature looked back at him before turning to follow him. Andrew led the way to the Blaze red dorm and to his dorm room. He put Abra back in it's pokeball before walking into the room. He saw that it was empty and that he had first choice of beds. He chose on of the beds close to the far wall.Kobe Blake
Kobe touched a pokeball to Tyrunt's head and stood up. He held out another pokeball to Sage as he passed her. She gently touched the tip of her nose to it and she disappeared into the ball. Kobe made his way to the Blaze Red dorms and to his own dorm room.Kai Valkooz
Kai had luckily thought to head to the dorms a little earlier than the rest of the students. She was currently still sorting through the ridiculous amount of things that her mother had made her bring with her. Kai truly did love her mother but when she does things like this she can be a little on the smothering side. -
