you're right, I was having trouble with the last few lines Cx -
hey so I was just like sitting/laying here in my bed
reading over people's posts like the stalker I am
and I realized something:
skunks would make good pets if you deodorize them.
and then came a second realizeation.
despite my okay people skills on and off the site, I don't really have any friends besides one or two
and one is on a camping trip as I type so

Cody glanced around the street. His pulse raced with what he was about to do. Was he really going to trust who to him was a total stranger? He guessed so. Pulling his thin jacket tighter against him, he made his way up the steps to a modern looking house.
He stood staring at the door for what felt like hours. Biting his lip, Cody tried to think of something to say before be knocked so he wouldn't sound stupid. His light blue eyes scanned the clouds, checking their pattern. It looked like it would rain soon. Maybe they could open up with a conversation about the weather.
Sighing, he raised a gloved hand and knocked three times, then two and lastly four, the code he'd been told so whoever was in there would know it was him.
