Flamefoot perked up. "Sorry, I didn't hear that the first time. Sure!" he meowed, his tail flicking.

"Wait!" Devin called, tossing a PokeBall to Kazuma. "You don't have light. Take that with you." Devin let out his Ampharos, giving his extra Pokemon to Kazuma's care for a bit.

Ryan nodded to accept the apology, though he was surprised and shocked about it. Skarmory had to say, /Don't worry, Ryan's just shy around cute girls./ Ryan turned to Skarmory crossly. /Really?/

/Go away Skarmory,/ Ryan grumbled in Pokemon speech, and Skarmory flew off, and Ryan swore she was laughing.

The PokeBall opened and it flashed for a moment. The Pokemon turned out to be... a... a...
Quilava.
She stretched and smiled innocently. "Qeeee! /I don't look like much, huh?/" Quilava said.
Once you looked at her carefully, you'd notice several things:
She was a red/shiny color.
Instead of red and orange flames like a regular shiny Quilava, she had dark and light blue fire.

Quilava ignored Kazuma's orders, barreling into a Pokemon and it disappeared with a whimper. She made her fire swell up and brightened the area in front of her, warning Kazuma of a hole in front of them and gestured towards a dark bridge and crossed easily.

Ryan blinked, then waved back, shyly. Quickly, he shifted forms, flapping his wings and flew over the trees and changed back and landing in front of camp. He missed his sister, Skava, but he pushed away the memory and went to his camp area.

Quilava paused for a moment, then narrowed her amber eyes. "Queeeeeeeee! /An illusion. Some Zoroark is messing with us./" Quilava turned, sniffing and pawing the ground.

Anyone on?

"Like a werewolf," Devin remarked. "Lead the way Quilava." Quilava jumped down and trotted into the darkness, and Devin chased after her.

Ryan and his Pokemon, an Umbreon, watched the shadows of the forest. "You are sure, aren't you." He turned to his Pokemon.

"Queeeeela! /Sorry, didn't mean you./" Quilava apologized. Then she barreled right into a large shape. The image wavered. No, it wasn't a Zoroark, just a Zorua.
