ooc: Some ideas: Shade, Shadow, Might, Moon, Dusk, Twilight...

Midnight smiled. First they were fighting, and now there was a new member of the family. She decided to forgive him for earlier as she watched her trainer capture the pokemon. To show that they could be friends, Midnight stood behind him and playfully mirrored his movements when he was let out of the pokeball.

"You know how the wires in homes (like cables for your tvs) have that covering over the actual wire and how there is also the kind of bare wire that is just the metal? I want to set up a wire trap and have a Zeus kid shock it so that one lightning blast of electricity can travel through the wire and shock anything that touches it. We need the bare metal wire if it is going to shock anything, since the covering on some wires is there to prevent the electric flow from shocking things that touch it." Marie said. She hoped the Hephaestus kids knew this, or it would be pretty messed up if Marie knew this and they didn't.

Midnightstar finally seemed to notice him standing there. "Shadowpelt, this is Frozenglare. Frozenglare, this is the cat that saved your life." Midnightstar mewed awkwardly. Frozenglare looked at Shadowpelt. "Thank you," she mewed in a soft voice.

Midnight shrugged. Maybe, but usually when that species of pokemon challenged anyone it was by a fight. Trying to look taller or dominant was usual for that species. Midnight wasn't sure which it was, a battle challenge or just a play challenge. Midnight copied him, it was easier for a smaller pokemon to do that. Midnight was aware that she could be challenging him in the language of the pack just now.

ooc: We need an antagonist to make this fun. A rival? Team rocket? An evil pokemon?

Midnight looked up, and nodded. She wondered where they would go, and what kind of path Aella might take. Would she be a trainer? A lot of humans liked to be trainers. Midnight thought that might be fun, traveling around with Aella and getting stronger. Midnight wondered what her first battle alongside Aella would be like.

"Make sure that the wire won't be able to shock any of our campers. We can add an opening around the cabins for us to guard so that we can get through. The area around the cabins can be our emergency fort-area if we need somewhere to fall back to. We can also protect the wounded here. Also if the wire doesn't work I could summon a wave from the lake over their ranks. Since impure water can conduct electricity, we could also get a Zeus kid to shock that. The reason that the wire is the main part of the plan is because if I have to summon water from the lake multiple times it can get tiring." Marie said.

Midnight bounded down the road, veering off to the side to playfully crash through a bush every now and then. She stopped behind Aella, and pricked her ears. "Shadow...?" Midnight looked around when she heard a noise. "Uh, do you know what...?" Midnight stammered. Then some pokemon crashed through the bushes and Midnight had to jump out of the way.

"I can run by myself, we can get away faster if you are not burdened by me. When I attack after you are ready and you said 'now', pick them up and run. I will follow close behind to guard you. Don't worry, vulpixs are fast." Midnight said. Midnight used flamethrower at his feet.
