"Sheesh and I thought you were supposed to be cheerful. What's the matter?" Sandclaw asked in a friendly way.

"Guarding what exactly?" Sandclaw asked still suspicious.

"Hmph... I've been to a battle with all of Shadowclan cats and as a result I've seen all of the Thunderclan cats too. That battle was long too so I know all distinct scents and you don't seem to have one of the scents that I know of. You arnt a Thunderclan cat or shadowclan cat are you?" he asked. This theory was a stretch even for him but it seemed to fit nevertheless.

"Let's see them then," Sandclaw said. He lied about being a clan cat so why should he believe this?

Sandclaw sighed. He didn't feel like reporting anything. He just wanted to talk to someone.

you guys are forgetting something huge. Windclan would never come back, Riverclan would die of hunger (because of the flood) and Shadowclan would probably be the tyrants of the forest. No not shadowclan. Brokenstar. And the biggest one, they would not survive the forest being torn down.

"Well I might as well chat now that I'm awake," Sandclaw said padding out of the warriors den. "Well... only if you will let me that is."

Sandclaw sighed. He wasnt really getting much from this cat. "So whats going on?"

"You must have noticed. I rolled in moss earlier so suppose it's hard to tell. I'm a Thunderclan warrior," he replied stiffly

Ivyfur wandered why his voice sounded so playful but he let it pass quickly. "Why ask that Ivystorm?" he asked letting his curiosity get the best of him.

"I heard that snort mousebrain," Sandclaw said irritably. "You think Im from a different clan don't you?"

Sandclaw was on his way to the sunningrocks when he saw a Thunderclan she cat sunning herself. "Hey do you mind if I join you?" he asked.
