He'd always known people, was always at least semi-popular. Yes, he'd lost activity and when he came back nobody knew who he was, but that was because he'd lost activity. But here, Mason practically knew nobody, but that was understandable. He'd only been here for a day or two, in search for the only person he did know; Oceantides.

Meet and greets were good at making friends, it'd worked for others and worked for him. He had made some great friendships through meet and greets, and he hoped to do the same again. "Hey, I'm Mason Holmes!" he grinned happily.

"I prefer Mase - and hello." The male then grinned at Anna cautiously, as if she was about to attack - and maybe eat - him if he moved. He didn't want 'the gaze' again, that was some creepy shit to him, and he wasn't usually fazed or scared by anything.

"And yeah, I did. Thanks, by the way, for the directions."

He then shook his head at Anna's words, she didn't need to apologise to him. "Nah, it's fine. Don't worry about it."

Next he turned to Northface, nodding. "I'll just call you North, assuming that's okay, nice to meet you." Then he turned to address Balletslippers, smiling. "You also, Balletslippers." He then thought he was done, before Ripplingkit padded over. He looked at the child before smiling. "Hello."

[fancypost bgcolor=; background:url(http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs7…d87fwng.jpg);bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 470px;][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 430px;][justify][size=7pt]Mason blinked as he came across the reptile, watching as she threw a book onto a quickly growing pile. "Uhm, Balletslippers?" he questioned, walking up to her. "What are you doing? What's with all these... books?" Frankly, Mason didn't know what one would do with this many books... well other than read them of course... but it didn't look like Ballet was reading them. "Are you okay?"

Mason smirked, jumping down from a stack of broken crates to scare Ocean. He didn't know if this would work, however, considering Ocean was rather... unpredictable. "Hi Ocean." Mason narrowed his eyes slightly before grinning again, he still had a bone to pick with her.

[fancypost bgcolor=; background:url(http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs7…d87fwng.jpg);bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 470px;][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 430px;][justify][size=7pt]Mason shrugged, listening to Ballet as she showed him what the different piles meant. One for unnecessary romantic relations, one for characters with no flaws and one for books she actually enjoyed; simple enough. It looked like Ballet only enjoyed a few, considering the pile was smaller than the others. Guess it just proved a lot of books were shit. At her question Mason shook his head. "Not really, readings not my thing. I'd rather experience what's written in the books myself, thanks."

[fancypost bgcolor=; background:url(http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs7…d87fwng.jpg);bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 470px;][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 430px;][justify][size=7pt]"Yeah, well, I'm not in a rush to find anyone now," the lynx shrugged to Bruce, ears pricking upwards as the other spoke. "Nice to meet ya Bruce." Mason then turned to Northface, blinking at her question before laughing a little. "I do... that's who I was trying to find. She ran off and I had to try and find her and here we are."

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px;]
[fancypost bgcolor=; background:url(http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs7…d87fwng.jpg);bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 470px;][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 430px;][justify][size=7pt]"I did," Mason nodded. "Y'know, footprints aren't the most efficient way of helping me follow you. I mean, what if it rained? The footprints coulda disappeared and I wouldn't be able to follow you." There was a little annoyance in his voice, but frankly that was understandable. He'd been led on a wild goose chase.

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px;]
[fancypost bgcolor=; background:url(http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs7…d87fwng.jpg);bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 470px;][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 430px;][justify][size=7pt]Mason ignored her first words, deciding to answer her next words instead. "You coulda told me that, hell you coulda told me you were leaving in the first place. I'm your husband, Ocean, you're supposed to tell me these things. And I wouldn't call following footprints 'easy.'"

    [/fancypost][/fancypost][/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px;]
[fancypost bgcolor=; background:url(http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs7…d87fwng.jpg);bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 470px;][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 430px;][justify][size=7pt]Mason shrugged, before following her towards the corner. He looked up at the towering pile, eyes a little wide in shock. "How do you have the patience man? I wouldn't be able to read that much!" he guessed he couldn't because honestly, Mason wasn't the type to sit down and read a good book - nah, he was too hyperactive for that - and he guessed Ballet could because she was that type. At the Bruce comment he shook his head. "I won't."

    [/fancypost][/fancypost][/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px;]
[fancypost bgcolor=; background:url(http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs7…d87fwng.jpg);bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 470px;][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 430px;][justify][size=7pt]Mason suddenly felt guilty, so he jumped up and slipped over to Ocean to hug her. He didn't want her to feel sad, and he didn't want to be the cause of it. "Nah, don't apologise," he grinned at her as he attempted to wrap his paws around her comfortingly. "I'm not that annoyed. If any, I'm sorry."

    [/fancypost][/fancypost][/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px;]
[fancypost bgcolor=; background:url(http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs7…d87fwng.jpg);bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 470px;][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 430px;][justify][size=7pt]Mason smirked at the gasp, before resting his head on hers as she buried it into his shoulder. "You're not the brightest either," he replied to her with a joking tone. He didn't actually think either of them were dumb, he did, however, think that they both ran into decisions without thinking about them.

    [/fancypost][/fancypost][/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px;]
[fancypost bgcolor=; background:url(http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs7…d87fwng.jpg);bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 470px;][fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 430px;][justify][size=7pt]Mason was incredibly impatient, he couldn't wait for more than a few minutes. Well, unless he had to wait for say, Ocean, then he would happily wait a while. But, not everyone was Ocean, so most of the time he just got frustrated at the person he was waiting for and gave up, sneaking off to go find something fun to do. Maybe he should work on his? Nah, it's what made him Mason!

"Uh, well I've been trying to find friends and stuff. Being born and raised in RiverClan meant I was always there and never really had to do much to find friends because a lot of people knew me... but now, I actually have to find people," Mason shrugged. "And yeah, I did. Scared her, got a little annoyed at her, then hugged her. Not what I call a heartwarming reunion if you ask me."
