As he drew closer to Canterlot, the alicorn noticed the forcefield wasn't up. "Silly little fillies," he smirked evilly, "Have you learned nothing?" Aiming for a window of the castle, he tensed, bracing for impact.

Nox squirmed inside his prison of light, furious to have been captured by useless citizen no less. Then, grinning slyly, made the gem invisible and hid it, allowing Rivershine to take him to the dungeons.

And if you are smart enough, it can be a useful tool." she growled, spitting out a dry apple core. "I have no desire to provide any such means of payment for my latest meal. Something more satisfying wouldn't go amiss. Like... Stallion. Nothing beats fresh stallion. I just wish one would appear right in front of me."

Look, the point is Rivershine is overpowering Ember in every way and he's just trying to balance the... overpowery... ness. Can we please forget it and move on?

I watched the movie on a LQ video on Youtube that has now been taken down, but I enjoyed it regardless. I found the first movie surprisingly good and despite the majority of the bronies hating on it, I personally love the whole FlashLight ordeal. Then the second movie happened and my feels were crushed along with Twi's heart. Sweet Celestia I want to hug Flash and strangle him at the same time. Although the whole antagonist thing was cool, in the sense that Trixie got the attention she deserved without being totally overpowered. Plus it was nice to see a change from "And they were defeated by the Elements of Harmony, the end!" plot that almost every mlp villain has had. Final point: DJ-Pon3 is best, um, human..? Whatever, Nowacking will be thrilled to see her getting a pretty decent role :3

Nox barked in frustration "Yes, and you'd better do something about it if ever we encounter her again! There is, however, something very odd about her. That power... but she isn't even a princess... who is she?" He looked thoughtful and after a moment of contemplation he narrowed his eyes. "Who cares?" he growled with a sly grin, "We've got a job to do. If she interferes again, deal with her."

Meanwhile, Lux shook the leaves and twigs from his mane and stretched his wings, about to relax, when he glanced over to Canterlot and saw the little scuffle. Tilting his head, he got up and flew off towards the city, eager to know what all the commotion was. When he arrived, he saw nothing but a few dents and scorch marks in the walls of the castle.

Lux spotted Rivershine and flew over, landing carefully and tucking in his wings. "Hello there, miss. If you don't mind me asking, erm, you didn't happen to see what happened at the castle, did you?" he asked in his most polite tone of voice.

Krystal huffed. "That's just the problem." she grumbled, "You're the only one who thinks so." She withdrew into herself a little before shaking her head furiously. "What am I saying? I'm not a foalish little weakling like you puny equines! I am a master of manipulation! I have no such time for true sentiment!" she exclaimed, turning her back to Mira and practically strutting out of the hall.

"Excuse me? MY kind? You've obviously never looked in a mirror. MY kind aren't the monsters here and you know it. We tried playing by your rules, and look what happened!" she hissed, the rage in her eyes burning, "You pureblood equines think you're something special. Well I know better. If I wasn't-" she cut herself off, realising that what she was about to say could potentially ruin her other self's life.

I know she's called Vinyl Scratch, but DJ-Pon3 sounds cooler :3 I was sad when they didn't say her real name in the movie and I also noticed the headphones thing and the cafe thing! I thought the tie-in with the Music To My Ears short was a great little bonus. Also, every song in the movie was fantastic, but the ones that really stuck for me were Rainbow Rocks, Under Our Spell and Shine Like Rainbows. And Tricks Up my Sleeve was pretty cool too :3

He was taken aback a little by this information and smiled. "I can't help but notice what a fine pair of wings you have there. Oh, and a horn? But I don't recall there being another princess..." he added, tipping his head in a puzzled manner.

Lux watched the alicorn and smiled, eager to see how she would handle this.
