Myst sat down and narrowed her eyes at the rookies. Rookies. So much trouble. Only disaster can come of it all. She studied each in turn, but when she looked at Shay, she stopped. This young Riolu. She has potential. And her colouring! It's been long since I saw a shiny! She stood up and walked past the rookies, casually bumping into Shay. She smiled and narrowed her eyes, still looking ahead "The others don't stand a chance. Good Luck." she whispered and headed for the entrance. She paused and turned, smiling at Shay again "You're going to need it." and she turned and went inside.

I was young, I didn't understand, but mother knew she'd never see me again. She didn't..." Myst looked down "But I remember you, Flare. My trainer abandoned me in the snowy mountains. I found an odd icy rock and suddenly I evolved. I traveled miles, across the ocean to find you. Until now. But alas, you don't remember me. My journey was a waste. I suppose I'll just go crawling back to my trainer..." she turned away, tears clouding her eyes.
