Jaypaw picked the tiny newborn kit from the nursery, not letting the clan cats know. He left in a flash, carrying it to its own den to Mistyclaw.

the kit in it's massive jaws, pretending to be dead, was being carried by a bear. it could hear the bear cubs saying '' mommy's here! dinner's here! hooray!''.

struggling to walk and half frozen, a kittypet kit was in a snowstorm in the midle of snow-fall near Riverclan. Bearly, it saw the frozen river border and tried to cross it. The kit, exhausted, lay on the snow on the border of Riverclan, hoping one of its members will rescue it.

'' are you the medicine cat? i have a broken leg. can you fix it?'' the kit mewed

''then who is he? my leg is hurting now. i really need it healed.'' the kit said

''is there any kits i can be friends with?'' the kit asked

the kit struggled. it was starving and had a scratch on its ear.

then in the distance, an owl was below the clan. above the nursery. it dove nearly missed the kit. but it took another newborn she-kit. the kit was frightened by the owl as it flew away with the she-kit.

''you are safe with me, i am you mother and you are Foxflight.''

then a mother she-cat came up to Snowspirit. '' my kit! why didn't you save him!?''

when the mother she-cat calmed down, she asked '' Snowspirit, when did you have kits???''

''i know'' ''but you are half-fox-half-cat'' ''your father died in battle with wolves'' ''it was very sad'' ''he was very brave...''
