With a grumble Lucas pushed out of the bottom bunk of his bunk-bed. Dragging his feet to the dresser, he groggily pulled some ripped faded black jeans, a grey tank-top with BOOM. written across it, then a red blue and yellow flannel top unbuttoned overtop. Quicky rushing up the spiraling stairs to the washroom, he splashed some water on his face, and ruffed up his hair alittle before rushing back down the steps and out to the barn. The air was cold as it nipped at his pale-ish skin, and his eyes were in a squinting position as he tried to see threw the dark. Soon the sun would be rising, and he'd have to put up with the other two. The least that could happen is that he would be tackled by Amanda. His purple converses crunched the gravel under foot, as 'Cow' went to slide the barn doors open alittle. As he did this, the sun began to break over the horizon. A pale orange glow was casted in the barn. He began walking around, stroking and brushing the four horses that stabled here. One was his, and one was his mothers. The two others were some local riders in town that had already been boarding here before his grandparents died. And Heel's... well he was Rebecca's horse. After turning out the four to the pasture, the sun was already signalling morning. When he went out with Daisy's reins in hand, his eyes were wide to find Rebecca on the back of Heel with a broken leg. "REBECCA! GED OFF 'EM NOW!" The surprised and mad Lucas snapped. With a glance his way, the curly-haired bull rider quickly let go of the reins and flung herself off the horse. With a snort Heel turned and trotted to graze with the other turnout horses. Letting go of Daisy, he quickly rushed out to Rebecca helping her up. "You know, if you keep going like this your gonna die." He said alittle more calmly- not wanting to spook the horses. She simply shrugged her shoulders, as she limped towards the barn where her crutch laid. "Let me die with priad and joy of what Im doin' then." Her lips turned into a slight grin as she grabbed her crutch. They talked back to the house, where Lucas went to call Jack for horse-help after school. All threwout this period of time, it seemed that only one person was on his mind. Meaghan. I dont like her! Its always been the same... you make-out with them once, and then loose interest. Why should this be any diffrent? But... she's not like Amanda... She's diffrent... maybe- No! No way! It'll just be the same! It seemed like a war went on inside his head.
Edward dashed out the door quickly, knowing where Boots lived he knocked on the door casually. It may have been seven in the moring, but it would take them a fair amount of time to get to the school. A wide smile was on his face, as he fixed his white button down t-shirt, and his tighter grey jeans. His red backpack was rested lightly on one shoulder as he waited for someone to awnser the door.
Jack was quickly awakened by one of the nurses, who offered him a change of clothing and a backpack. Mrs.Terra was like Jack and Shylaa's mother. Since theirs was in England and honestly wanted nothing to do with them, she would often bring them home when ever Mrs.Terra could. With a smile, and a kiss on the cheek Jack raced into the hospital's public bathroom and changed. He whipped the cookie off his face, and pulled his fingers threw his hair acouple times before swinging his new green backpack on his back. He was wearing some old skinny jeans, that were a faded white with what looked like dirt-stains at the bottom, and a loose dark-green t-shirt. His grey eyes seemed wide open, and his curly hair had the just-got-out-of-bed look. Walking back into his sisters hospital room, he quickly kissed her forehead and whispered goodbye before walking down the hallway. "Bye Terra!" He called to the blonde-haired lady behind a desk, grabbing several papers. This was his first day of school here- which was exciting, yet horrible at the same time. This meant, he could probably get a job as a doctor to help find a cure for what his sister had- but it also meant spending less time away from her. Plus, now he had a job at his old-friends Lucas's ranch just outta town. This year, was probably going to be the funnest he's had in years.
