"Someone should be coming soon with your morning medications, so you shouldn't have to wait much longer to get an answer," Ed replies. "If you do get discharged today, what do you want to do? Stay here in Central for another day or so to travel, go back home?"

"Don't worry, I have no intention on letting her get hurt again," Ed replies to the doctor's response. "Not that I ever did in the first place," he mutters under his breath. "Have Winry's files been transferred to her primary care in Resembool?"

"It's up to you really, not really an option that's better than the other," he turns to respond to Winry.

"Okay then, not a problem," Ed replies to Winry. "There may be something here that'll help to jog your memory too. There's also a lot more to do here than in Resembool. I'll easily be able to get two rooms at the military hotel for us to stay in, and I'm absolutely certain soldiers will be posted to serve as protection of sorts, since we were recently the target of an attack."

"Great," he smiles a bit, very happy that Winry was well enough to be discharged from the hospital after just a one night stay, and about getting to attend his favorite pastry cafe in all of Central. Ed had already had breakfast, but Winry hadn't, and he always has room for a pastry from said place. "You can have as much food there as you'd like. You'll need to strength."

"Yeah I'm sure," he smiles, staying by her side as she walked. "Don't worry, I get paid enough to afford it. Believe it or not, I don't splurge all that often."

It didn't take them very long to get the aforementioned pastry cafe, only 15 minutes of walking.

"See anything you like?" He asks, pointing at the glass display with a large array of different pastries.

"The cinnamon rolls and chocolate and cheese danishes are my personal favorites," Ed answers Winry's inquiry. "The pecan swirls and banana bread is also delicious."

"I'll take a chocolate danish and a cinnamon roll with a coffee," Ed places his own order, pointing at the respective pastries in the display case.

"And here we go," Ed says while setting the tray with their breakfast down on the table they had claimed not too long ago.

"The cheese danish was a good choice," he compliments while handing Winry a plate that had her pastry on it, alongside her cup of hot chocolate.

"I'd usually say there are a few different engineering and automail stores but you don't seem to remember much about that so that's out," Ed starts thinking of the different options. "There are some pretty parks, and some plain old typical shopping plazas. We could go there too."

"Said park isn't that far away from here, a ten minute walk at most, so it's not really worth hailing a cab," Ed informs. "Then we can take a taxi to the shopping district and find something for lunch there," he continues.

It doesn't take long for them to reach the park, around 10 minutes as Ed had said.

"There's some pretty gardens and stuff here, as well as some stone and woodwork. They're definitely worth a look."

"Yeah it is," Ed agrees. "Whenever I find myself here in Central with some free time, Al and I would come here to feed the birds by the lake and stuff. He tends to enjoy it so I let him have his little bit of fun every now and again, since he doesn't get that opportunity a lot."

"It's really just work so it's not the most enjoyable, but some of the places we go are nice and you meet a bunch of different people," Ed replies. "The travel's paid for though so whenever I get a few days off it's a paid vacation," he adds, finding that upside noteworthy.

"Yeah, it's travelling I wouldn't be able to do otherwise," Ed adds. "Sometimes the train rides can become a bit much but they're also the only time I get to take a break from work."

Seeing Winry get up and start to stretch, then moving to look around, Ed gets up to follow her.
