Onyxkit looked at Ivytail, horrified. "How can we help!?' she asked, eyes wide.
Jewel stood up again, with a slight limp, and attempted to run back to her home.

Onyxkit tossed the moss in the air, and then ran after it to catch. She did this a few more times before Stormkit 'stole' it from her. She purred and ran after her as she ran out of the nursery. Only to find that the moss ball had been lost.
Stormkit, bored now, walked back inside. Onyxkit stayed out, and started playing in the snow. "Anyone want to play!?" she called.

The kits peered out of where they were hiding, wanting to know where the wolf was. They immediately ducked back in when they noticed he was closer than they thought. Evekit, seeing a crack just big enough for her to fit in, squeezed up into it. "There's only room up here for one more!"
Stormkit looked at Onyxkit, and pretty much forced her to join her younger sister to go up. "Both of you stay up there!" she told them, as she crouched in the corner.
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><>Jewel heard Streamstare's call for help, and raced back over to where he was. "Are you okay!?" she called, coming up behind him.

Onyxkit was surprised, but she got right back up again and followed. Once she was close enough, she pounced, and landed on his back.

Jewel followed, deciding she wasn't going to just wait out there for a wolf to find her.

Stormkit's eyes widened as she watched Ivytail and the wolf. She ran out from her hiding spot, and threw her tiny body on top of the wolf, and bit down hard on one of his ears.

Onyxkit purred. "The magic word was Vole, but I'll take please." she said, getting off of Swiftkit.

Stormkit felt something, or someone, pull her away from the wolf. She looked at the cat. "What are you doing? I have to help her!" she protested.

Jewel sat down, and watched Sloth and Streamstare. She knew about frostbite; her owner has lost a finger from it the previous year.

"One day I'll defeat a wolf." Stormkit promised. The wolves were killing so many cats; she couldn't help. "If nobody could, why does everyone fight? Why not leave then come back with more!?"

"Because they are foolish." He said although he liked the kit. "Would you be interested in joining the Elite?" He asked the kit,
Stormkit looked at him curiously. "What's the Elite?"

Jewel watched as he left, and followed. "Are you really sure you should wandering around while there are wolves everywhere?" she asked him.

"The elite are an amazingly strong group of cats that I am part of." He said to the kit smiling.
Stormkit hesitated for a moment. She wanted to be strong; like he said the Elite were. "Why are you offering me a chance to join?"

"Would you rather join or get killed outside by the wolves... or here by me." He said.
Stormkit eyes widened. "Okay, I'm interested in joining." she finally said.

"Okay then lets go." Envy said smiling.

Onyxkit and Evekit remained huddled in the hole. They didn't dare leave; what if there were wolves nearby? They already knew that Stormkit must be dead. They could be next.
Onyxkit finally dared to leave the crack, and exit the hole. She glanced around, hoping to see Stormkit, and dreading the sight of a wolf.

Stormkit nodded, determined to do well. She hid her excitement.

IC: Onyxkit, after waiting for Evekit, raced off towards where they heard a few cats. They didn't care if they weren't from their clan; they just wanted to go home!

Stormkit thought again. Nothing except one that sounded kinda weird popped into mind. "I dunno... Fear?" she suggested, guessing he would say no.
