I shoved past him, but as we made contact a tingling feeling shot up my arm and I froze. Thoughts and images of Renee filled my mind and I flicked back. "stupid Love." I growled, shoving my hands in my pockets and walking away. But Cupid parked the seat right in front of me and I tripped onto it. Straps came out and held me down.
"REALLY?!" I yelled into the seat, my voice muffled. Cupid sat down beside me.
"Your sister and brother, along with your scribe had the right idea. Well, mostly. They hasn't planned on everything, but I'm sure you figured that out. Ma mio caro Nico, you love Renee."
I glared at the ground, not believing him.
"And she loves you back."

Cat- I curled up. "Ugh, I'm an idiot!"

Nico- I saw the figure of Renee walking into the hotel. I stopped her just as she reached the doorway. "Hey," I said, slightly out of breath. "Did a certain embodiment drop by for a chat?"

I blinked, as a tiny smile appeared on my face. "I'm not sure that counts as transportation, but it's interesting. And useful." I added the last part a little bitterly, but then turned away. "You don't mind missing dinner?"

Dolphins can get beached in shallow water, and that was the last thing I wanted for my best friend. "C'mon." I started walking down, wondering if this was wise. How far would the halfway point be? My friend was fast and had great endurance, but carrying Will would take some energy and I didn't want him sputtering and dying so we couldn't get back home...

My head was spinning with all this news. "Gods... Kronos? Then we need to get to this new Camp." I tightened my grip a bit as I leaned slightly to the side to look below. There was just lots of water below us... "We're crossing into Florida." I told ace, shifting my weight so that I was back fully into the saddle.

IC|| Nico- "What?" I whirled around, hand already reaching for my sword. Turns out, it was much, much worse than a monster.
I stared, wide-eyed, at the mistletoe. "I..." There were no words. I turned around, ran a hand through my hair, reached under Renee's chin, tipped her head up, and pressed my lips to hers.

Maddie- "Shhh! They're kissing!" I cried giddily.
"WHAT?!" Cat tossed the extra hot-pink lipstick to Summer. "You go do that, Summer! I can't miss this! Who kissed who?!"
"You'd never believe it... Nico kissed Renee!"
