Ionette laughed as she continued to massage Bill's back, working to unwind the kinks along his spine. Aiming to uncoil them. "That good, huh?" Ion grinned. Finding a particularly tight knot in his shoulders, "How long has it been since you've properly relaxed, Bill? Everything is so tight!"

Ionette could feel the knot uncoil as she continued to work at it. His shoulders no longer feeling as tensed as they had been. "Well, now you do," Ionette grinned proudly, leaning over to give Bill a sweet kiss on his temple.

Ionette smiled softly, moving out from where she stood behind Bill at his desk. She hadn't seen or heard from Rose since the day she was to leave St. Kitts. Ion didn't know when the last time Bill had heard from her. After two years she'd be surprised if this was the first letter she would have sent to him. "What did she say?" Ionette asked curiously.

Ionette stepped back and away from Bill's desk as he eagerly wrote back to Rose. So he hadn't heard back from Rose since she disappeared judging by the words she wrote. Ionette was glad yo hear about Freddy although she was a little disappointed that Freddy hadn't asked about her. Did he forget about her?

Ionette shrugged not saying a word. The questions Bill was asking were rhetorical, and not ones she'd have the answer to anyway had they not been. A part of Ionette couldn't help but feel... she didn't know? Rose was indeed sweet, and Ionette had nothing against her... But, she couldn't explain why Bill's words were having such an effect on her. This wasn't the first time he's gone on about Rose, whenever someone brought her up his whole demeanor would change. He'd become as light as a feather and there was nothing that could wipe the loving smile from his face whenever he spoke of her. Something Ion wished she herself would be able to bring out in him. Something Ion had felt she'd been missing since the mutiny. She understood why he's hadn't to become more stern, but she also felt pushed away by it.these thoughts swarming around within her mind the more he went on about his best friend. "Why did you choose me...?" Ionette's thoughts manifesting themselves into words. Her voice almost inaudible, a slip of the tongue Ion hadn't realized she voiced aloud.

Ionette flinched, unaware she had even spoken allowed. More surprised Bill was responding to it. I didn't know I said that out loud..."Sometimes it feels like more, and I can't help but wonder why you chose me..." may as well get it out in the open now.

Ionette wrapped her arms around Bill, clinging to him tightly. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to completely kill the mood. I love you more than anything else in this world. I don't know why I feel that way- maybe it's because no one has ever chosen me before? Maybe I'm just more insecure than I once thought? But it's never affected the way I feel for you, the fact that those thoughts went through my mind breaks my heart. I didn't mean to make you feel so bad... I'm sorry."

Ionette's grip tightened as she pulled Bill closer, nuzzling her face into Bill's chest. She didn't realize that trading songs meant being bonded to each other in siren culture. But that would explain why Bill was so happy when she wrote him one as well. She was grateful, and her heart felt warm. No longer sinking into the pit of her stomach like rocks in the sea, "I'm glad, I feel exactly the same way. There isn't another soul I would rather spend the rest of my days with, than with you."

Ionette shivered, a blush dusting over her cheeks at the sound of Bill's voice. Damnit Bill, I don't think you realize how hot that was? A laugh escaping her as Ion looked back up from Bill's chest to face him, "Well, technically those were Kidd's marbles," Ionette stated playfully back.

Ionette laughed even more at that, wrapping her arms more around him as she rested her chin against Bill's chest. "Fair enough."

Ionette let out a low, playful growl as Bill teased her. Poking at Bill's stomach as she took a step back from him, giving him space to get back to his desk,"Hmm, I'll do my best," Ionette said in a teasing tone.

Ionette laughed with a jerk of the head, "I'll get right on that, though I would think if either of them were burning the ship we'd have heard of it by now." The sound of a laugh still clear in Ionette's voice as she spoke. Making her way out of the cabin door so she could make her way down to where Batt and the dragon were hiding out. She'd check in Skellos on her way back up.

Ionette made her way back out onto the deck. The sun set low in the sky, decorating the horizon in deep aumbry oranges and pinks a few purples scattered here and there amongst the clouds. The wind blew past Ionette's wave of curls making them dance around her frame, sticky salt water dusting her face with each powerful gust of wind making Ion shiver in the cooling air around her as she made her way below deck into the hold. Though the maindeck sheilded it from the sun it felt hotter and much more musty. Not unstandably so, but just enough to be a nescience. It wasn't long before Ionette found where Batt was staying, as she followed the sound of baby dragon squeals, knocking on the door to announce her presence to them both, "I'm here to releive you of dragon duty."

The small dragon saw his mother's face the moment she peeked through the door. Wiggling free of Batt's arms and bounding his way towards Ionette. Ion laughed as she kneeled down to scoop the dragon up in her arms to which the creature nuzzled into gladly. "How'd you both fair today?"

Ionette grinned as she scratched the baby dragon under his chin, earning a squeaking purr from him. "He didn't cause you too much trouble did he?"

Ionette laughed softly as the dragon crawled crawled onto her shoulders and Batt's failed bite into the frozen fruit. "Well I'm glade he didn't cause you or anyone else any trouble. Thank you for watching him Batt." Ionette stated before exiting the room to go check on Skellos before heading back up to the Captain's quarters with Bill.

It didn't take long for Ionette to make her way to the crew's bunks where she found Skellos still passed out in a hammock. Sleeping off his hangover for sure, no need to wake him up to ask him how he's feeling. Walking out of the barracks Ionette made her way back into Bill's office.

Ionette poked her head out from below deck just as she saw the cremate run back up the gangplank. Bill no longer in the office but on the deck. Ionette made her way over towards Bill where he leaned against the railing, baby dragon still on her shoulders. "Baby dragon didn't cause any trouble, old dragon is still passed out in the bunks."

The baby dragon cooed happily as Bill scratched under his chin. His wings unfurling as he flapped them in pleasure. Ionette laughed, reaching her own hand up to scratch behind his ear. "What's brought ya back up on deck?"

"The demon we captured said something about John going to Gravity Fall to look for the Pines but they had left to come here awhile ago.The demons were working for them so I can only assume they sent word to our targets where the Pines went. Maybe John and Nalevia are on there way to Nassau as we speak. Perhaps if she sail towards Gravity Falls we could potentially intercept them?" Ionette suggested, her voice low so Bill alone could hear.
