I handed the owner of the pound 4 silver pieces. He handed me the dog's leash. I had decided to name him "Beanie." Don't ask me why. Beanie was perfect, he didn't tug on the leash at all and kept right by me. I reached the alley and preformed my normal procedure to get inside my "home".

Beanie had made himself right at home. I sat on my mattress watching the Doberman sleep on his pillow. I glanced around the room. It was getting more and more dangerous to live here, since I didn't buy this place. After my next job I should be able to buy a medium sized "house". Wich reminded me, I was supposed to be heading over to the market to meet a client. "Bye Beanie." I whispered softly before heading out. I finally reached the market and waited. "Maddie." I heard a man's voice call out. I turned around to see Martin. We shook hands then walked to somewhere private. "Maddie, I need you to take care if this guy named Leo. He stole my cat. I want him killed and I want my cat back." Martin explained to me. "Wait, all of this for a cat?!?!" I said in disbelief. He nodded. "36 gold pieces." I said bluntly. Martin handed me the pieces and I was off. I knew where this Leo guy lived, he was notorious for mugging people. I would do this quick and easy with my dagger. I reached Leo's house and snuck in through a window. Leo was sleeping on his mattress. I smiled then quickly slit his throat. I grabbed the cat and in a flash I was back at the marketplace. I gave Martin his cat. I walked back to my old "house" and got my pieces and Beanie.
