He was actually very worried and wouldn't be able to bear it if one of their kits died and if all of them died he didnt think he would be able to live.

Spottedwing didn't want to leave him but she certainly didnt want her clanmates to think she was even more distrustful since she was found on their territory as a helpless kit shivering in the snow in the middle of leafbare. They knew she felt more comfortable under the pines and wouldn't be surprised if she joined Shadowclan.

Spottedwing turned and padded away through the Thunderclan undergrowth, looking back and seeing Ashstripes handsome peering back at her from his side of the border. She collected the prey she had caught and headed back to camp. After she dropped her catch on the already full freshkill pile she curled up in her nest and slept. She dreamed of Ashstripe the whole night.

"Little?" Silvermoon replied. "This squirrell is fat!"

Icepool purred and wove around Crookeddawn. "I'm proud." she replied.

Honeydew also went to get a tasty morsel from the fresh-kill pile and lay down to eat it.

"Spiritkit let Specralwisp look at you," Moonbird scolded gently. "If you want to feel better your going to have to do everything he says."

"Really? Well I don't think you're that way." he replied casually.

Silvermoon laughed. "Who am I kidding?" he asked. "We all know you're the best hunter." he brushed against her.

Icepool padded after Crookeddawn. Soon she smelled a water vole and quickly stalked and killed it.

Honeydew noticed Pebblepelt sit next to her and their pelts were brushing. Her heart tingled with excitement. No one had ever made her feel this way before!

"Don't worry young one," he said. "he won't get sick. Starclan wouldn't allow it!"

Feathernose: mottled blue Windclan she-cat with white the shape of a feather between her eyes and gray eyes.
Fang: black loner tom with white stripes and green eyes.
Firebird: red Riverclan tom with brown eyes.
Ambersky: light brown Thunderclan tom with amber eyes.
Spottedfang: golden Shadowclan tom with red spots and brown eyes.

Silvermoon purred. Suddenly he had an idea. He knew Clovergaze loved young cats. He'd seen her gazing wistfully at the apprentices before. "Do you want kits?" he asked softly.

Icepool sat down next to Crookeddawn while he was catching a fish and began to munch down her water vole. When he caught a fish and if flopped onto the shore it sprayed water on her. She got up and moved little away so she wouldn't get wet again. She was enjoying the warmth the sun's rays beat upon her dappled gray fur.

Honeydew soon finished her meal of vole and sat up to wash herself. She'd had a good dream last night but oddly she woke up with her fur sticking up everywhere as if she had been scrambling around in her sleep. She was a little embarrassed that Pebblepelt had seen her that way.
