Jetpaw bristled lightly as Brightpaw was again snapped at him. When Talonclaw said he could join the two of them, he shook his head. "No thanks," he mewed politely. "I'd better get back to Luckypaw." He started away. "At least she doesn't act like a cranky elder." When he arrived back in camp, he looked for the other apprentice.

Jetpaw entered camp with a sigh. He wasn't mooning over Luckypaw. She liked him, didn't she? He flicked his tail. "Brightpaw's just stupid." The apprentice walked into the apprentice den and laid down in his nest with a huff.

Tawnycloud leaned against Dustwind as she too watched the sky. It was really nice. All the cats should be out watching this.

Applepaw smiled at the kits. "Alright kits, it's starting to get dark," she mewed. "How about we all grab something to eat and then get ready for bed," she mewed. "And tomorrow, if I'm not busy, I'll play with you all again tomorrow."

    ooc: Guys, we still don't have a leader :}

ic: Applepaw sighed when the kits moved themselves away from Visualkit. "Don't feel bad Visualkit," she mewed. "You did nothing wrong, they just don't understand is all." She looked at Breezetail. "It's getting late, maybe we should call it a night for the kits." She then laid down, picked Visualkit up by the scruff, and place the kit on her back. Standing up she gave a smile. "Hang on," she purred as she started slowly for the Nursery.

Tawnycloud's ears pricked and she looked to see Applepaw and Visualkit. She smiled and then turned back to watching the sunset with Dustwind.

    ooc: Thanks Sparky ???

Tawnycloud nodded and got to her paws with a stretch. Shaking out her fur, she started for the warrior's den.

Applepaw gave a small giggle when Visualkit licked her head. Coming to a stop at the nursery she lowered herself to the ground. "Here's you stop. I shall see you in the morning," she mewed happily.

Jetpaw remained sleep in his nest.

Russetfeather shook his head at Spiritbeam's answer. "You shouldn't feel lonely in a Clan," he mewed as he watched her catch a fish. She reminded him of a RiverClan cat.

Applepaw started for the medicine cat den, but felt bad about leaving Visualkit. She gave a tiny sigh and walked into the nursery and laid down next to the kit. Placing her tail on the kits shoulder. This would be okay for at least one night.

Tawnycloud gave purr as Dustwind curled up next to her. She closed her eyes and instantly fell asleep.

Jetpaw didn't move when Luckpaw laid next to him.

Russetfeather looked at Honeyshade and Spiritbeam. "We should get going," he mewed. "It's getting dark." With that, he waved his tail to the she-cats and headed back to the camp. Once in camp, he walked into the warrior's den, looking at Brightpaw as she got some moss and walked out. "You okay," he called to her?

    ooc: Welcome back Rose.

ic: Russetfeather merely shrugged when Brightpaw didn't answer. Going into the warrior's den, he went to the back and curled up in his nest. He was tired. It had been a rather long day and finally he could get some sleep.

The dark grey tom looked at Spiritbeam as she asked if she could move her nest closer to his. That was as odd as it got, but Russetfeather wasn't mean. "Sure," he mewed as rested his head on his paws.

ooc: We have missed you, mainly me, but you get the point ;)

ic: Tawnycloud woke the next morning with a small yawn. She looked to Dustwind and then as carefully as she could, moved out of the next, trying not to disturb him. Stretching from head to tail when she was outside the den, she looked up at the early morning sky. Dew was covering the treetops above. She gave a small purr.

Applepaw woke up wondering where she was when she realized that she'd spent the night with Visualkit. Getting up, she walked outside. "Morning Tawnycloud," she mewed with a smile. She then headed into the medicine cat then to survey the herbs.

Jetpaw slunk out of the apprentice den. It was so early. He gave his fur a quick grooming and then started into the middle of camp.

Russetfeather lay curled up in his nest. When the first rays of morning broke through the warrior's den, he opened his green eyes and looked around. Standing up, he left the den and looked around. Drawing his paw over his face, he gave a small sneeze. It seemed most of the others were waking up as well.

Tawnycloud glanced at Killerjaw when he tried speaking. She figured what he was trying to say. "Everyone," she called. "Listen up. We still don't have a leader, so we're going to have to lead ourselves," she mewed. "Let's start with border patrols. How about Dustwind, Driftpaw, and me go along the BreezeClan border. Talonclaw, Nighttail, and Iceypaw will take up the other side of the border. A hunting patrol will consist of Russetfeather, Spiritbeam, Honeyshade, Wishpaw, and Jetpaw." She mewed. "Everyone else should stay back and guard the camp and keep watch on the kits." She then looked to Killerjaw. "Does that sound good," she asked. "Blink twice for yes, once for no."

Russetfeather flicked his ears as everyone started to come out of their dens. When Tawnycloud suddenly spoke up, he looked to the warrior with a twitch of his tail as she spoke. He looked to Spiritbeam, Honeyshade, Jetpaw, and Wishpaw. "We'd better get a move on," he mewed. They had an entire Clan to feed.

Jetpaw was practically bouncing when Tawnycloud said he got to go hunting. But he was sad because Luckypaw wasn't on the patrol with him. He hurried over to her and licked her cheek. "See you when I get back, I'll bring you a squirrel."

Applepaw was in the den working away at getting things ready. When she finished, she came out to see the Clan getting into patrols. What had she missed? "Wishpaw, what's going on?" She asked her sister.

Russetfeather was going to tell the hunting patrol that they should try the middle of the forest, but noticed that Spiritbeam was gone. The warrior paused a moment confused. "Where did she go," he asked.

Jetpaw looked at Russetfeather and shrugged. "She left...."

Russetfeather gave a sigh. "I guess so," he mewed. "We don't have time to track her down, though it would be easier if we hunted in a group and not individually," he mewed. "Wishpaw," he called to the apprentice. "Let's go." He then started out of camp.

Jetpaw grinned happily and followed after the warrior. He was glad to be out hunting. He was really hoping to bring back a squirrel.

ooc: Russetfeather will get her. It might even help their forming bond

ic: Russetfeather lead the hunting patrol to the river. "Stay close if you decide to hunt in the forest," he mewed to Jetpaw. He then started down the bank. His eyes scanning the water as he searched for a fish.

Jetpaw nodded and headed off into the forest, scenting for a squirrel.

Russetfeather had made it to the edge of the river and was watching a fish rather closely. The moment it jumped out of the water, he reached a paw out and slapped it down onto the land, where it lay flapping on the earth. The green eyed warrior however was not attentive, because when he'd knocked the fish onto land, he'd seen fur. Very familiar looking fur. Hurrying across the river, he pulled Spiritbeam's limp body from the water. "Honeyshade, I need help. It's Spiritbeam," he mewed as he laid her on the ground. He wouldn't be able to get her across the river alone. He was strong, but not that strong. "Jetpaw! Get Lightheart, hurry." The tom rolled Spiritbeam onto her side. I shouldn't have let her go off alone, he though guiltily.

Jetpaw was zeroing in on a squirrel when Russetfeather's call rang through the forest, scaring the creature away. "Okay," he called. He then ran towards camp, paws scraping earth as he hurried to ShadeClan. "I don't even know what I'm supposed to tell her," he mewed in despair.

Russetfeather looked at Honeyshade. "I don't know," he mewed. "Just help me move her to the other side, I can't do it alone."

Jetpaw burst straight threw the entrance. "Something happened in the forest! Lightheart! Applepaw! Help!" He waited for the she-cats and then darted out of camp.

Applepaw had been cleaning her den out, but stopped when she heard Jetpaw's panicked mew. She quickly grabbed as many herbs as she could and then followed after him, her paws pounding the ground.

Tawnycloud scanned the border quietly. There was no signs of other clans crossing the border.

Russetfeather nodded and lifted Spiritbeam up. "Keep her head above water," he mewed cautiously as he stepped into the water. Once they had made it to the other side, he placed the she-cat down, just as Jetpaw and Applepaw burst through the bushed. The warrior stepped back, his paws shuffling as he waited in silence.

Applepaw immediately got to work, gently feeling along the she-cat's spine to make sure she hadn't damaged it. "Her spine is fine, but she had many broken bones," Applepaw mewed calmly. With that she rolled the warrior onto her side, and allowed the water to leave her lungs so she could breathe. "We need to get her back to camp, now." She looked at Honeyshade and Russetfeather, as if expecting to get the warrior up and help get her to camp.

Jetpaw felt horrible. Spiritbeam, how had this happened to her? The tom wondered if this had happened because she'd run off by herself. Tail tip twitching, he looked to Applepaw. How could she be so calm??

Russetfeather quickly slipped under Spiritbeam to support her. Keeping in step with Honeyshade. "I feel like this is my fault," he mewed somberly.

Applepaw flicked her tail. "No one is to blame, accidents happen," she mewed as she walked ahead of the warriors. "Just thank StarClan that you found her in time."

Jetpaw followed behind the group. He was glad that Spiritbeam was okay. He hoped she'd be able to have a speedy recovery.
