"I know, but it hurts me even more to see you get hurt. I'm used to it." Kayla said. "The bruises on my face heal fast, that's why you usually can't see them. Either that or I cover them up."

Jeremy played with the upper hem of her shorts as he licked her lip teasingly. (She's wearing shorts, right?)
-
Kayla sighed, wiping her tears. "Max," she started, turning his head to look at the wound on his face. "Ouch... I'll take a look at that later when we get back to your house. He hit you hard..." It was true. It had already started to bruise, and it was bleeding too.
-
"Um..." He started, looking over her shoulder at the lifeguard who was currently shaking his head at them, clearly not impressed with their PDA. "Well... How about we save this until when we get back? Or until I take you home?" Jeremy smirked.
-
{OH MY GOD, I LOVE MONTY PYTHON! "Just one more wafer mint..." xD}
Kayla frowned. "No, it is NOT just a scratch, Max... Oh my god."
-
Jeremy nodded. He was quiet for about five seconds while he scanned the beach before he started killing himself laughing.
-
Jeremy quickly straightened himself out and carefully turned her head to look at this little three-year old boy eating his ice-cream. He wore a panicked face as he stared at them as if they were some alien invaders or something.
-
She smiled. "That's good... Do I have a bruise on my face?" Kayla asked, turning her head.
-
Jeremy laughed again. "I think you're right..." He was starting to think that he liked her a bit too much to only be her boyfriend for a day. Maybe he could talk her into a week or something...
-
Kayla slowly walked out from the bushes, her tiny 5'4 frame looking smaller than ever beside Max.
"Hi, I'm Kayla... You must be from the child protective services..." She offered her hand to shake.
-
Kayla smiled. "Yeah, I'm fine. And if it's alright, ive already made arrangements to stay with Max's family."
-
Nick shook his head, smiling. He quickly turned on his heels and caught up to her. "Hey, wait up! I just want to talk!"
-
Jeremy nodded, still laughing. He took her hand and walked back to where their chairs were. He was surprised to see that nobody was there. "Seriously?" He said, looking at the empty chairs.
-
Nick matched her pace, racing beside her. "Why won't you talk to me?" He asked. "I just want to get to know one person that isn't being followed by the paparazzi."
-
Jeremy pursed his lips. "Well," he said, "I really hope that they won't ruin another little boy's life..."
-
Jeremy laughed, sitting down in his lawn chair. "Well, there aren't any kids around here."
-
Kayla laughed. "Good luck with that... He's almost too drunk to function."

Logan smiled charmingly at Cori. As he walked to his desk, he studied her every feature. She looked rather tired, but underneath the dark circles under her eyes and her dazed expression that she currently wore on her face, she was one of the prettiest girls he had ever seen. He sat down beside her, placing his books just off to the corner.
"Hey," he said, extending his hand out to her to shake. "I'm Logan." He said in his normal british voice. He had just moved here from England, and all the accents that they had here in America were quite different from the ones back home.
-
"You tell me," He said, leaning in, locking his lips with hers. Jeremy's hand extended up to her cheek, caressing it gently.
-
Logan laughed, blushing a tiny bit. "Thanks," He said holding onto her hand for a bit longer before letting go and fixing his hat. "Your accent isn't too bad either!"
Logan cupped his hands and placed then together on the desk in front of him. "Tired?" He asked, still smiling.
