When he was standing next to her, he realized how she was the perfect hight for him, for she was only three or four inches shorter. He gave her a dazzling smile and said, "Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then?"

    Bye! :)

He tucked his phone back into his pocket and continued to walk away. He put his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket and lowered his head so his gaze rested in the ground. He had to go find his mom- hopefully she had finished her shopping.

[align=right][font=times new roman][size=8][color=black]"Alright then," he said. "Hey, I got you something." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a plack box that was covered in velvet. He opened it to reveal a sparkling diamond heart necklace. "I bought it just for you."

Sure enough, he foun his mom, still frantically running up and down the isles, taking every gift that she found suitable for their cousins and nieces and nephews. "Mom!" He called, laughing. "Aren't you going to save any for everyone else?" His mother laughed.

"In almost done, Bray, don't you worry. We can go home soon, but we have to make a quick stop at your dad's house to pick up Julia." Brayden winced. He had forgotten about her, and he knew that when they got home, Julia would be begging him to play, and he could never say no to such a cute face.

[align=right][font=times new roman][size=8][color=black]Brayden hopped in his car at 8:15 to drive over to Skylar's house. That morning, he had to crawl under the fort that Julia and him had built last night without waking his sister who was fast asleep under her Whinnie the Pooh blanket. At 8:25, he drove up to her house and parked his car. He got out and proceeded up her driveway to the door. He knocked in the door and stood back, waiting for her to answer.

Brayden smiled. "Alright! I like your house, by the way." He waited for her to grab her things and head out the door before closing it behind her and following her down the sidewalk. Brayden opened the passenger-side door for her and gestured for her to get in.

[align=right][font=times new roman][size=8][color=black]Streamfur purred. "Nice catch!" She trotted along a little father before another scent wafted into her senses. Vole. She padded along just a bit farther until its small shape because visible through the particles of dust and sand flying up into the air. She crouched down so her silver underbelly was just inches away from the ground before she silently proceeded forwards. The prey was facing away from her upstream, so she knew it couldn't smell her or see her. Once she was within a couple tail-lengths of the vole, she rocked back and forth on her haunches and pounced, landing square ontop of the vermin. With a swift bite to the neck, it was dead and she raised her head, it's lifeless body dangling from her jaws.
