Violetkit smiled as the sun rose.

Cherrywind awoke at her father's side to hear his coughing, her eyes widened, "Daddy!"

Lunarheart tried swallowing, he could feel a knot in his throat, "Cherrywind... I'm a-" he coughed again.

Cherrywind looked at him, "Your what?"

"I-ill," he gulped.

"I-i-ill?" Cherrywind quivered, terrified.

"I-i-i need to say something before i-"

Cherrywind began crying, "No! It's just a fever! Don't be foolish! You'll be fine!"

"They're calling," Lunarheart stared blankly at the sky.

"Your ill! Don't be foolish!" Cherrywind pleaded.

"No, no, no," Lunarheart stared at her blankly.

"No what!" She demanded.

"I killed Applewind."

Cherrywind's eyes widened, "I know this... Are you alright dad?"

"Don't tell Dianthuspool," he gulped, "I promised he I wouldn't fight."

"Dianthuspool is dead dad," Cherrywind said softly.

"And I'm next."

"It's alright," Cherrywind panicked, "We'll get you some help."

He shook his head, "Accept it. I have."

Lunarheart smiled at his daughter, "Thank you... Cherrywind. You've supported me so..."

Cherrywind could only helplessly stare at her dyeing father, "Please daddy..."

"Please be strong for me...." he met her eye, "Don't cry."

Cherrywind nodded, and Lunarheart became motionless, his slow death almost painless. His eyes stared brightly at his daughter, who he could no~longer see.

Ooc- Sure.

Don't cry.... Cherrywind jerked her head back, closing her eyes tightly, "Mudstream..." She looked at him, "Why?"

Cherrywind growled, "I don't need you feeling sorry for me, or ordering me around."

"I'm sorry..." Cherrywind apologised.

"What?...." Cherrywind said disturbed, "Ohhh your the last kits of Swiftclaw and Dianthuspool, let's worship you!" She rolled her eyes, "Real appropriate."

"Ohh do you?" Cherrywind growled.

Cherrywind clamed down, "I'm proud do be like my father, Koiwing."

Ooc- Make the apprentices warriors now?

Cactusflower nudged Koiwing, "Things could be worst..."
