Silverpaw woke in the apprentice den. She lifted her head and squinted into the morning sunshine flooding into her eyes. The last thing she wanted to was get up. She knew practically no-one in the clan apart from her parents. She had only narrowly escaped death when her siblings, her mentor and she had been attacked by foxes. She had a scar that ran from her right shoulder and over her back to her left hind leg and down to her paw. She could see other young cats waking up around her, some of the shapes still rising and falling softly in their sleep. i bet they aren't having a nightmare she thought. no, stop being such a pessimist.

the thornberry's is this movie series thing about a family who observes animals and the daughter can speak to animals and nigel is her dad and he says smashing all the time so yeah
